Sesshoumaru: I was joking with her!!!!

Rin: Show some respect!

Sesshoumaru: *mumbles, pouting*

Youkai Tsume: Thank you, Rin. Now then, I do not own any of the InuYasha characters, although I do own Misaki and Taro, those characters are in the other fan fiction I did called “Ginta The Wolf Demon”. A young girl walked on a dirt path, smiling happily, judging by her appearance she was at least 12. Her brown orbs were brought out with the sun's rays, her black hair reached above her waist, some of it was tied in a small pony tail on the left side of her head, giving her the look of innocence. She wore a kimono containing orange and yellow squares, with a thick, long green ribbon tied at her waist. Walking to a village, her village. It wasn't the best in the world, but to her it was, she walked in the hut she lived in with her mother.

“Hi, Mama, I'm back” she said happily handing her the flowers.

“Arigatou, Rin” her mother smiled at her.

Rin smiled, she happily hugged her mother.

“Mama, can I go play with my friends, please?” Rin asked.

Her mother smiled at her beautiful daughter, but gave her a look of warning. Rin slowly nodded back, reassuring her that she'll be okay. Then Rin was off, she ran out joining her friends in a little ball game, they all headed to the forest, that's where they often played ball or even hide and seek. They began playing ball but then Rin threw the ball quite, few ways away.

“I'll get it” Rin yelled at her friends, running where the ball headed.

She found it by a demon's foot, an ogre demon. Rin shot her eyes up to meet the demon's eyes. It growled at her. Her eyes grew wide and released a piercing scream, then the ogre, slashed her on the right side of her waist. She closed her eyes, knowing her friends heard her, making them run off to warn the others. She waited for the killing blow, but it never came.

The last thing she saw when she opened her eyes was a man with long silver hair, slaying the demon that had attacked her. Then all went black.

When she woke, she wasn't home.... She was in a room, laying on a soft, comfy bed. The blankets were made of fine white silk, she searched around the room, but found nothing but fine crafted wooden furniture and a few windows.

She found two wooden doors, only several feet from the bed she laid on, another wooden door across the room, what she guessed to be a closet which held numerous clothing and...... Probably sandals. One of the two wooden doors, feet away from the bed she was on, opened, revealing a silver-haired man, holding a tray containing a glass of water as well as a bowl of soup and a spoon.

The man walked to her, setting the tray on the table by the bed, not even a word spoken, he looked at her knowing she was looking at him strangely. His golden orbs meeting her brown ones.
“Who are you? Where have you taken me?” she asked, her voice a bit shaky.

He only looked in her eyes, as if trying to see through them. Rin looked away, breaking the eye contact with the mysterious man. He looked away too, but began making his way to the door, that is....... Until he smelled tears and salt in the air. He turned back to her, seeing that her brown eyes were filled with tears. In all honesty, he felt bad.

“Please, sir.. Tell me.... Where am I? Who are you?....” she managed to whisper between sniffles.

Slowly he looked at the ground, thinking about what he should tell her. He then looked at her again.

“You were hurt, I protected you from a demon and brought you here, I am Sesshoumaru” he explained to her in short.

“I-I.... Was hurt......?” she said, trying to sit up but couldn't, because her right side hurt a lot.

He nodded, but couldn't help but feel slightly amused of the young lady who lay in HIS bed, she didn't know it was his though. Not yet anyhow. He walked to her slowly, sitting on the bed next to the girl. Rin looked at him, realizing now that he too, was a demon.

“You're..... A d-demon.....” she whispered.

His face suddenly seemed sad, he had saved her and this is what he got in return? He, Sesshoumaru, felt strangely attracted to her though. Rin sent him an apologetic look, as she watched him nod, agreeing to forgive her. Sesshoumaru looked into her eyes, he could tell she was nervous but grateful. She smiled a little, his eyes widen at the sudden change of emotion.

“I'm Rin, I was playing ball and I threw it too far so I went to get it and that demon attacked me and......” she was cut off when he placed a finger on her lips.

She laid there blinking, he waited a little then removed the finger from her lips, she kept awfully quiet now. He smiled a little and stood.

“If you need anything, call for me.... Or just yell out `maid'..” he said as he walked out of the room, HIS room.

Rin smiled, she never felt happier, but she missed her elderly mother and her friends, as well as the villagers. She wanted to go home. Silently, Rin stared at the ceiling, letting silent tears run down from her eyes. She was unaware of the golden eyes watching her shed tears.

`She misses her friends, I shall return her.... As soon as she recovers....' he thought.

Sesshoumaru didn't close the door completely from his room, but made sure all was quiet so that the girl could rest. He walked away from his room and walked down the hall to his office. Slowly he entered the office as soon as he had opened the door, then walked to his desk, sat down comfortably, beginning to do his paper work and such.

Hours came and gone, he began getting tired. Sesshoumaru stood from his chair, walked out of his office and to his room. He removed his armor, but left the fluff on his shoulder. Slowly he laid on his bed, he was way too tired to change so he kept his normal kimono on. Sesshoumaru shut his eyes, drifting to sleep slowly.

The sun slowly rose in the horizon, reflecting it's rays through the windows of Sesshoumaru's room. Slowly Sesshoumaru opened his eyes, he felt something or someone cuddling against him. Once he looked down, he saw the girl, she had he head on his chest while one of her hands was set by her head. His eyes grew wide with surprise and shock, although he didn't move at all. He found that her warmth was quite comforting and innocent.

He looked at the ceiling, trying to decide if he should wake her or wait until she woke herself. He let out a light sigh, then felt her move. He watched the closely, then she opened her eyes, blinking a few trying to put the puzzle all together. Suddenly she looked up at him, blinking a few more times then began to blush. Rin pushed herself away from him, then turned her head away from him, breaking eye contact.

Sesshoumaru couldn't help but smile slightly at that, he stood up from his bed, not bothering to put his armor back on just yet.

“Are you hungry, Rin? If so I will ask Satsumi to prepare you breakfast” he said in his emotionless voice.

She blinked a few times and nodded.

“Hai, I am hungry..” she said softly.

Sesshoumaru nodded and walked out of the room while putting his armor back on. Rin laid quietly on the bed blushing, she had slept in the same bed as a demon then she began thinking.

`What if..... This is his bed?!' she thought, while the red on her cheeks darkened.

Then she heard a knock on the door as a long brown haired youkai walked in, her eyes were emerald green, she wore a black and white kimono, showing that she was a servant youkai woman. The woman bowed to Rin and smiled.

“I am Satsumi, what would you like for breakfast, young one?” she asked smiling.

“Well, anything really, I'm just hungry..” Rin told her, also smiling.

“I shall bring you your food shortly” Satsumi said to Rin.

Satsumi walked out of the room, without another word, Rin watched the maid go and let out a silent sigh. She got up off the bed, forgetting about her wound, slowly she sat on a chair by one window, the only window nearest to the bed. Rin was surprised to see a large green garden, with trees and bushes here and there. The garden even contained a large fountain, the statue was in the form a dog like creature, the water was released from it's back.

Rin began to get curious of what other things are here, in and out of the palace. Slowly she stood and walked out of the room, only bump into something strong but soft. She almost fell but felt arms wrap around her to keep her from falling down. When she looked up, she saw that it was Sesshoumaru, a slight red tint threatened to raise on her cheeks. He helped her stand.

“You should be more careful Rin” he told her.

She nodded in a shy like manner, starting at her feet. Rin heard Sesshoumaru let out a light little laugh, she looked up at him with a confused look.

“Come Rin, breakfast is ready” he told her.

Sesshoumaru let Rin into the dinning room, where silver platters were already set down on the table. Rin looked at the long table that could fit at least 40-50 humans or demons.

“Rin, not to worry, it seems your wound is heal quickly, I shall see to it that after you eat, that Ah-Un will take you back to your village” he told her.

Sesshoumaru then noticed the pleading look on the girl's face. He sighed.

“Very well, I shall take you there” he said.

Rin smiled up at him. To his surprise her thanks was a small kiss on the cheek, he watched as she ran and sat at the left side of the head of the table. Sesshoumaru lightly rubbed his cheek where she had kissed him just moments ago. He had a strange feeling inside him, but pushed that feeling aside for now. Sesshoumaru walked to the head on the table, giving the signal to his servants to remove the top of the platters as he took his seat.

The servants nodded and removed the top from the platters, Rin couldn't help but get glittering eyes and a little drool on the right side of her mouth considering she hadn't eaten for at least 2 days. Honestly the poor girl was starved. Sesshoumaru watched Rin drool a little, when she noticed he was looking at her, she blushed. Quickly she wiped the drool from her mouth and looked away. In all honesty, Sesshoumaru was amused by the girl.

After they were done eating, Sesshoumaru gave her a gift, which was a white kimono, the designs on it were that of a dog demon fending off a snake like dragon. Rin smiled up at Sesshoumaru, giving him a light friendly hug. Sesshoumaru surprisingly returned the hug, afterwards he walked the girl back to her village. The closest that he got to the village was at the entrance of the forest. Rin gave him a final hug and a little goodbye kiss on the cheek as thanks.

Sesshoumaru stared wide-eyed as she left to go see her human mother. Once again he set his hand lightly on his cheek where she had kissed him. Could it be she loves him? Longs for him? No..... She's too young! Sesshoumaru watched as Rin, her mother and her friends as well as the villagers, they all welcomed her return. Rin's mother was an elderly woman, with brown eyes, light gray hair and she wore a light blue kimono. The elderly woman was crying, happy to see that her daughter was alive and well.

Sesshoumaru was just about to walk back to his palace, until he heard her voice call for him. Rin's voice.

“Sesshoumaru-sama!” she yelled out.

Rin began to run back towards him, he turned on time when she came up to him and threw her arms around him. Sesshoumaru looked down at her with a shocked but slightly surprised look on his face.

“Sesshoumaru-sama, mother said you can stay here, or visit anytime you want, since you saved me” she told him.

He nodded slowly, he would have loved to stay but he had to patrol his lands.

“Gomen Rin, I must patrol my lands” he said.

She gave him a sad but understanding look. Sesshoumaru gave her a light hug and kissed her forehead, promising he'd return to visit. Rin stood there dumbly, blushing then after a while walked back to her village, happy that she had returned but sad that her new friend couldn't stay.

****4 years later****

Rin had lost her mother 1 year ago. Rin still cried at night, though she never forgot the face of the demon she became friends with. Come to think of it, she hasn't seen him in 4 years now, she began to worry. Rin slowly walked outside her hut and took in the morning air. She grew up beautifully. She was now 16 years old, though, her face as well as her eyes, still carried much innocence. Rin smiled, her brown orbs staring into the sky, knowing her mother was watching over her.

Slowly Rin made her way to the forest when no one was looking, she ran to where she thought was Sesshoumaru's palace. She stopped when she saw some, silver, white and red by a nearby tree. Cautiously she approached it, then when it opened it's eyes, gold meet brown. Sesshoumaru didn't really recognize her, Rin approached him with wide eyes, tears threatening to fall from her brown orbs.

Sesshoumaru watched with caution as she came closer, then smelt tears and salt, looking into her eyes, he noticed they were tainted with tears. Sesshoumaru growled lowly at her but she didn't seem to mind, could she have been a friend of his from a long time ago? No, that's impossible...... Or is it? She kneeled next to him, as she shed many tears. Sesshoumaru couldn't put his finger on it but she seemed oddly firmiliar to him.

Then he slowly turned his attention the kimono she was wearing, the same one he had given to the young girl 4 years ago. Suddenly the wind changed direction and his eyes went wide with complete surprise. He couldn't believe it was her, the young girl he had saved 4 years back.

“Rin....” he whispered.

“Sesshoumaru-sama..” she whispered silently.

Rin hugged him.

“Oh, Sesshoumaru-sama!” she cried out.

“Rin........” he whispered once more.

Rin then noticed a red stain on the right of his kimono sleeve, she looked at him in the eyes, as if asking him if she could take a look at it. Sesshoumaru just nodded slightly, then she lowered his right sleeve slightly, revealing a small but deep wound.

“Sesshoumaru-sama...... You're bleeding......” she whispered.

Surprisingly for her, he smiled in her direction, truth be told, she hadn't changed at all since they last saw each other. Rin looked at him blinking several times, Sesshoumaru's smile just grew some more.
`doesn't he know he's handsome when he smiles..' she thought silently to herself.

“It's nothing I can't handle, Rin” he finally said.

She blushed slightly, fighting off tears that once again threatened to be released from her soft, loving brown orbs. Slowly wrapping her arms around him, giving him what he had missed for so long, from her even...... Another hug. A hug, so gentle, so loving, so...... No he couldn't think like that, he wouldn't.
She was too innocent after all. He returned the embrace, allowing a slight pink tint his cheeks.

`If she only knew.... If she.....' he thought.

But his thoughts were soon interrupted by her voice.

“Sesshoumaru-sama? Do you want to stay with me for a while.......?” she asked, her eyes showed a hint of hope.

He couldn't hold back the tugging in his gut. For some reason, he ignored it, smiling at Rin.

“I'd be more than glad to” he said.

Rin helped Sesshoumaru stand, after she had bandaged his wound, with her other layer of kimono and not the one she had as a gift from Sesshoumaru. Well she ripped the sleeve off her lower layer kimono. Sesshoumaru watched her look ahead then he glanced down at their hands. She held his hand with hers, her skin, felt so soft to him, he smiled at that thought. The thought of them being together, so close made him smile.

Rin and Sesshoumaru made it to the village and she led him into her hut, the place she called home.

“Sesshoumaru-sama, do you want a drink or maybe something to eat?” she asked.

Her voice held such innocence, such tenderness, that much he would admit to himself. Sesshoumaru smiled at her.

“Hai, I would like water, Rin” he said nicely.

Rin nodded happily and poured him a drink of water. Then she handed him the small wooden bowl like glass. Sesshoumaru looked at it for a moment then shrugged taking it. He took the water in his mouth and swallow it whole. That's when he heard Rin giggle.

He looked at her confused, that is until he watched her wipe the little drips of water that slid for the side of his mouth with her kimono sleeves. She let her do so, watching her, then she looked up to meet his golden orbs, to see the many emotions in them, happiness, relief, even..... LUST?! What was lust doing in there.....?! Rin smiled at him and went to prepare lunch, considering it was around noon.

When food was ready, she served Sesshoumaru the stew first, he didn't care how it smelled or how it tasted, as long as he had a little something to eat. She smiled happily, eating her own stew. Rin stood after she was done her first bowl, Sesshoumaru was on his 4th bowl.

“Sesshoumaru-sama, I must go help the elderly pick herbs.. I'll be back soon” she told him.

Sesshoumaru nodded, watching her leave the hut, he then finished his bowl of stew and stood. He walked out, taking in the smell of his surroundings, but mostly Rin's. Then he walked to where Rin was, ignoring the glances that were on him.

“Rin, I must go now, I promise this time, I will visit you often..” he told her.

She stood and looked at him sadly.

“I understand, Sesshoumaru-sama..” she said giving him a light hug.

He retuned her embrace, then ran off, she watched him run off into the forest, a pain tugged at her heart. Rin then returned to her chores. When Rin helped an elderly woman to her hut, hold herbs, she felt more then one presence. Which was odd because she never felt any presence before. She looked to the sky, it was getting dark. Rin rushed the woman to her hut, setting the herbs down and running out, staring the darkened sky.

Just then, a large herd of demons flew down from the sky, Rins let out a loud scream in hope Sesshoumaru would save her. He retuned her embrace, then ran off, she watched him run off into the forest, a pain tugged at her heart. Rin then returned to her chores. Rin rushed the woman to her hut, setting the herbs down and running out, staring the darkened sky.

Just then, a large herd of demons flew down from the sky, Rin let out a loud scream in hope Sesshoumaru would save her. In moments, the huts were on fire, Rin was running, so was all the villagers. Screeches of demons were heard as only few were killed, screams of women, children and men were heard also. She screamed out Sesshoumaru's name loudly, in hope he'd hear her the second time.

“SESSHOUMARU-SAMA!!!!!!” she cried out.
But still not one glimpse of his appearance. She began crying, allowing tears flow freely from her eyes, fleeing from the village. All that she held dear was gone, all but one thing, Sesshoumaru. Then the demons chased her, they injured her very badly and left her to die. Her final and last thought was Sesshoumaru.

Moments later she had let go of life.

****2 days later****

Sesshoumaru returned to the village, running through it, searching for Rin and yelling out for her. Then after a few tries, he smelt her blood lingering in the morning air.

“Rin........” he whispered.

Quickly he ran to where her body was, he saw her just laying there, his keen sense of smell told him she had died just days ago. Sesshoumaru slowly approached her body, knelt down and for once allowed tears to leak out from his golden orbs. He held her close to his chest, he didn't have Tenseiga yet.

“Rin.......” he whispered once more, sounding sad.

Sesshoumaru had failed coming back on time, she died because of him. Slowly he lifted her in his arms(yes ARMS, he has both his arms), holding her close to him. Sesshoumaru, the great dog demon Lord of the western lands, or soon to be that is, was crying for a human. Perhaps she had touched him deeper then his heart with her undying kindness.

Somehow, Sesshoumaru knew that it was Naraku that purposely sent those demons the destroy the village, to kill the villagers, to kill her. He growled lowly, dashing off towards his palace, holding Rin's innocent body in his strong, muscular arms. Once there, Sesshoumaru dashed through the door after opening it, his eyes filled with anger and hatred for that damned hanyou, Naraku! He growled lowly once more, running to his room and kicking the door down noisily.

Sesshoumaru walked to his bed and gently laid her down on it. Satsumi, one of his maids ran into the room and gasped at the young girl who lay motionless in his bed.

“Lord Sesshoumaru..... The girl....... W-what happened to her?.....” she asked in horror and concern.

“Demons........ That's what happened” he snarled angrily.

Satsumi took a step back.

“I arrived there to late....... But I heard about one of father's fangs.....” he said more calmly.

Sesshoumaru the turned to face Satsumi.

“Satsumi..... Did father ever tell you if he left something for me?..” he asked, with a hint of sadness in his voice.

“..... Hai, my Lord....... He said something to me about a sword that can heal or revive others that had passed on, but within a week's time it will be too late...... To bring her back, even with the sword.......” Satsumi told him.

He nodded, gestering her to continue.

“...... Well...... It was passed down to you..... Or so I heard....” she finished.

His eyes widen slightly, then his face went serious.

“Tell me where is it, Satsumi” he asked her.

“I do believe it's sealed in a cave somewhere in the North-East......” she told him.

“Satsumi, I want you to watch over the girl until I return with the sword, do NOT question me” Sesshoumaru told his maid.

She nodded and watched him walk out of his room as she went and sat on the bed, only she was allowed to do so, for now anyway.

`I have but 5 days to get the sword, if I get it any later....' he thought.

Sesshoumaru walked out of his palace, thinking about when he last saw Rin...... Alive. He shook that thought away as he walked ahead towards the North-East.

****2 days later****

Sesshoumaru had searched all caves in the North-East but one, the last cave reaked of dead demon and several humans. No matter, Sesshoumaru entered the cave, the deeper he went the more it reaked. In the deep end, he spotted a sword embedded in a circular rock, the whole sword seemed as if it was just made. Sesshoumaru gazed at it for a moment longer as he slowly approached it. Once he got there, he stood in front of it, slowly Sesshoumaru reached and grabbed the hilt.

The sword reacted, pulsating at the contact. Sesshoumaru almost released the hilt in surprise but instead he tightened his grip, the sword pulsed once more. Causing the surrounding area to be surrounded by blue light the blade was releasing. Sesshoumaru barely used effort to pull the sword out of the rock, as he did so, the
blade's blue slowly faded. Sesshoumaru felt something in the shadows of the cave pulsed. With caution he went into the shadows, allowing his vision to fix in the darkness.

There he saw a sheath(I think that's how you write it.. If not let me know), picking it up slowly and tying it to his waist. Then sheathed the sword. Sesshoumaru walked out from the shadow keeping his calm but cold expression, heading out the cave and back to his palace, somehow he knew that the sword he now possessed was the Tenseiga. Sesshoumaru walked calmly towards his palace, using his whip of light to lowly demons in his way that refused to move away.

****2 more days later****

He got back to his palace, frankly he was exhausted but he'd do anything for Rin.... For some unexplainable reason. Sesshoumaru walked in after opening the door, shutting it behind him, he slowly walked up the stairs almost too exhausted to continue. But he pushed himself as well as his body to go ahead, finally after what seemed like forever, he got to his room, the door was left opened. Sesshoumaru slowly and cautiously made his way inside the room, seeing that Rin lay there still dead, her eyes were shut, her face was pale.

The sight almost made him cry but the smell effected him the most, he felt the dead scent radiating off of her. Slowly he made his way to the bed, placing a hand on Tenseiga's hilt. Sesshoumaru felt it pulse twice, slowly he unsheathed the sword, feeling it pulse once more, the blade surrounded by a gentle light blue aura. Rin's body stayed put, not moving an inch, nor moving her eyes, not breathing, Sesshoumaru glanced down at the young human woman lay dead in his soft, fluffy bed as her slowly rose the sword above his head.

`Hold on Rin...... I will bring you back' he thought.

Seeing the demons from the netherworld, slashing them all in two, watching as they all decinagrated. Rin began breathing again but she was still unconscious, with that he was satisfied that she was alive once more. Sesshoumaru managed a small smile, he sheathed his sword the Tenseiga. After a few moments of watching Rin laying there, Sesshoumaru removed his armor and his sword, putting then safely by his bedside table. He removed his pelt and his kimono, changing into his night kimono, a black one, with a red cresent moon on the back.

Setting the pelt on his bed, laying down, head on the pelt, looking at the now sleeping Rin. Sesshoumaru glanced at her a moment longer and smiled. Slowly he closed his eyes, only thoughts of Rin smiling went through his mind. Before he met her, he was an emotionless youkai, surprisingly, she helped change all that. He couldn't be happier.

`Rin......' was is last thought before he drifted off to sleep.

In the morning, the sun rose in the horizon going through the window of Sesshoumaru's window not too far from the bed. Rin slowly opened her eyes, she was on the same bed, on the same fluffy, comfy bed she had been on before really meeting Sesshoumaru. How she missed the soft feeling of the blankets against her hands, but she missed her Sesshoumaru the most...... Wait..... HER Sesshoumaru? She asked herself numerous questions and such.

Slowly she stood off the bed, not noticing Sesshoumaru lay next to her on the bed. She cautiously walked to the two wooden doors, opening one slowly and silently, making sure not to make any noise. Rin made her way out of the room, walking cautiously through the corridors, suddenly she stopped, she heard footsteps and talking. Satsumi emerged from the other side of the corridor, seeing that Rin was awake, she smiled.

“Rin, would you like some breakfast?” she asked.

Rin looked at the strange woman, wondering how she knew her name.

“Hai......” she told Satsumi barely about a whisper.

Satsumi smiled sweetly at the young Rin, gesturing her to come with. Rin cautiously walked to Satsumi, walking with her to the dining hall. After Rin had eaten her delicious breakfast, Satsumi was kind enough to walk her to a large room where 4 hotsrpings awaited, they all seemed the same size so Rin picked one and began bathing, after she undressed and released her hair from the pony tail. While Satsumi was off to do her chores.

Rin happily bathed then she relaxed, looking the ceiling seeing the designs of a large dog demon fending of many other demon opponents. She wondered who that dog demon was. Looking at it she wasn't aware of the golden gaze on her until she heard footsteps. Quickly recovering from her thoughts, she looked up meeting the man's golden orbs as his met her brown ones. Rin then took notice she was still in the hot spring, she cover her chest with her arms quite quickly.

“Sesshoumaru..... W-what are you doing in here?..” she asked innocently.

He smiled at her, walking to another hot spring the one next to her, each spring hidden from each other with a red non see through thing (forgot the word for it, sorry.... I feel extremely stupid.... Honestly..). Sesshoumaru undressed and bathed quickly. He got out as soon as her cleaned himself and got dressed as soon as he got out. Rin watched him go, her eyes never leaving him, not once.
After he was gone, she relaxed a little long and got out. Drying off, then redressing in a purple kimono that held designs of pink flowers on them. Satsumi had left Rin that kimono while she washed her white one as well as the one with orange and yellow square. Rin tried finding her way around the palace but the truth is, she was lost, the palace was a maze to her. As if answering her prayers Sesshoumaru walked up to her, smiling sweetly, it was rare for him to smile, especially that way.

“Are you having difficulties, Rin?” he asked her nicely.

Rin only nodded with a slight pink tinting her cheeks. Sesshoumaru smiled more at that, taking her hand gently leading her outside, to the gardens. She looked around the fountain she had seen before was still there like she remembered it. They were all sorts of flowers, kikyo's(Kikyo is actually the name of a purple flower, of so I've been told), even many that were red with yellow ends(don't believe me search `flowers names' on google) and so many more. White ones, blue ones, purple ones, pink ones, you name it, it's there.

They were tons of herbs here and there, not too mention many beautiful trees, with amazingly green leaves. Rin stared in every direction, surprise and shock were in her eyes. Sesshoumaru notice her expression and smiled a little more.

“Rin.....” he said, she barely caught it.

She turned to face him, then he walked to her, holding her in his warm, loving embrace. Rin smiled and wrapped her arms around his waist slowly, being cautious of the armor on him, laying her head on his chest.

“I thought I was going to lose you, Rin....” he said, finally.

`Lose me....... To whom? Or what..?' she thought.

She gazed into his eyes, his golden orb looking in her brown ones, she began blushing once she saw the tenderness in them as well as the many other emotions, happiness, fear but above all....... LOVE!! (EEEE!!!! LOVE!!! ^-^)

“S-S-Sesshoumaru.......?” she whispered.

He didn't answer her, but he leant down slowly and pressed his lips lightly against hers, her blush darkening slightly. Rin slowly closed her eyes, returning the kiss, as he held her closer, but careful not to hurt her with the armor he had on.
