Scars and Cuts

Chapter 2

Running Away

Sango looked back and forth not knowing where she was going to go. She thought Inuyasha and Akira's house but she said no. Inutaishio, Inuyasha and Akira's father, would just send her back to her father, because he wouldn't want to help a run away. I know, how cruel. Unless she told him that her father said it was ok, but then he would smell her lie. Damn, curse all demons, but then she would have to curse Inuyasha and Akira. So never mind. Maybe she could go to Kagome's house, but her mother has too much to care for already. There's Kagome's grandpa and her little brother. Not really an easy task. She couldn't go to Stephanie's house because her mother doesn't really like company. So she was screwed.

“Where the hell am I supposed to go?” Sango said aloud.

She looked around some more and realized that she had no idea where she was at. To make it worse it started raining. She had no idea what to do; maybe she could just sleep under a bridge or something.

“Damn, I know what I can do! I'll call Miroku!” Sango said looking threw her pockets. “Maybe he can help me.”

She found the paper that had his number on it and quickly looked for a pay phone. She finally spotted one and put some money in there. She pushed the numbers and waited for Miroku to answer.

“Mushi, mushi.” She heard someone say on the other line. It sounded like they had been sleeping. No surprise, it was already late.

“Um…is Miroku Houshi there?” Sango asked into the phone.

“This is him, who is this?” Miroku asked on the other line.

“Miroku! Miroku its Sango, can you help me?” Sango said jumping up a little bit.

“Well ya of course I can, what do you need help with?” Miroku asked.

“I need you to come and find me, I ran away from home and I need help! I don't know where I am, Miroku please come and find me!” Sango said tears coming down her face.

“Alright, alright. I'll be there in a little while. Tell me one thing about the place.” Miroku said from the other side of the phone.

“Um…I'm on the street Tainted Shard. Do you know where that is?” Sango asked looking at the street sign.

“Yes I do, Sango be careful alright? You're in a bad neighborhood. Just stay close to the streets but not that close to where they can pick you up alright? I'll be there in 5 minutes.” Miroku said.

“Alright Miroku, I won't get to close. Just please hurry.” Sango said before hanging up with Miroku.

She looked around and studied her surroundings. Yup, she had no idea where she was at. She went towards the street and walked close to the left side of the side walk. Away from the streets, just like Miroku said. She continued to walk down Tainted Shard when she saw people up ahead. She decided not to keep going; instead she stopped and waited until they left.

It had already passed 5 minutes and Miroku still wasn't there. She began to worry, hoping that everything was alright. She looked over to where those people had been, she didn't expect them to be looking right at her. Sango began to worry, knowing right away that something bad was going to happen.

`They're youkai. All of them, to top it all of, they're all male.' Sango thought looking down. `They must think I'm a prize.'

Sango turned her gaze towards them again. She saw that a few of them were licking their lips, as though she was a piece of food. Sango felt shivers go up and down her spine. She turned around and started to walk off when someone yelled after her.

“Hey sweetheart, where are you going? Can't you see we wanna have a little fun?” the gang leader asked.

“Ya babe, come back!” another one said.

“No, I'm busy! Besides, you don't want me.” Sango told them. “I mean, uh, I'm very important to the city!”

“Whatever sweetheart, I can smell your lie. No one cares for you.” The leader said again.

“Please, just leave me alone.” Sango pleaded stepping back.

“But can't you see that we wanna get to know you? C'mon love, you know you want too.” The gang leader said again.

“No, just get away from me!” Sango yelled stepping back more.

“Listen, don't argue, and just come with us. I know you don't want us to force you. So if I were you I would hurry up and come with us.” The gang leader said putting his hands into fist.

“No, I'm not going to go with you! If you come closer to me I swear! I'll kill you!” Sango yelled out.

“You little human, kill my gang and me? Don't get all excited, c'mon guys let's get her!” he yelled taking a step towards her.

`I'm in trouble. Miroku where the fuck are you?' Sango thought to herself as they started coming closer.

“Just give up while you have a chance. We just wanna have fun, that's all.” The gang leader smiled. “We all want a turn.”

“You wish! Why don't you find someone else to torment? Just leave me alone!” Sango yelled again. She started walking backwards again hoping that she wouldn't run into anything or anyone. To bad it didn't come true.

She felt two pairs of hands grab her arms and hold her there. She tried to brake free but the demon held onto her tight, not letting her even move a little bit. Sango looked behind her at the youkai who held her, he didn't look to nice.

“Take her back to our hideout. We can have lots of fun there.” He said turning around.

“Leave the girl alone.” Someone said.

“Who are you?”

“Miroku! You finally came!” Sango yelled.

“Of course I did, let's talk later shall we?” Miroku asked her. He watched as she nodded while still being held by that man.

“So, who are you?” the gang leader asked. “Are you her boyfriend?”

“What? No of course not!” Miroku exclaimed. “We're just friends and I'm coming to her rescue!”

“You're so cocky, what makes you think that a mere human can defeat us demons?”

“Simple, you simply give up and I take Sango home.”

“Sango, huh? That's her name. What a lovely name. What makes you thing that I'll let you off that easily?”

“I was hoping you would have, but I guess I'm gonna have to kick your ass so I can get her back.” Miroku said picking up his fist standing in a fighting position.

“Oh, by force. Well human, bring it on.”

Miroku waited awhile, looking at all his opponents one by one to see what he was up against. He looked at the one who held Sango, she looked as though she was about to cry, giving up hope already. He looked at the gang leader again and got ready to fight him. Miroku decided to let him throw the first punch. The gang leader accepted and lunged right at him, Miroku quickly moved out of the way dodging his attack. Then all of them came after him all throwing punches. He moved out of the way punching when necessary. Soon enough everyone was laying on the floor, passed out. Miroku looked over at the guy who was holding Sango, he took a step towards him but the guy ran off.

“Sango are you alright?” Miroku asked her.

“Does it look like I'm ok Houshi-sama?! You came I don't know how late and you took to long to save me!” Sango yelled hitting Miroku on the head.

“Ow! That hurt! Also, what did I say about calling me Houshi-sama, Lovely Sango?”

“Don't mess with me right now Miroku! Just please take me somewhere else! I don't want to stay here any longer!” Sango yelled getting her stuff and walking off.

“Hey wait! Don't run off like that! Sango get back over here!” Miroku yelled after her. “You're going the wrong way! I parked over here!”

“Oh,” Sango said turning around. “Fine then, I guess.”

Miroku walked with Sango and it was the most uncomfortable silence. He would look over at her and would see hurt and sadness in her eyes. She looked pale as though she was sick and her eyes didn't really look brown anymore. He knew something was wrong just by looking at her.

“Sango, is everything alright?” Miroku asked her. “You look a little sad about something; do you want to talk about it?”

“No Miroku, nothings wrong. It's just I'm tired and a little scared about what happened earlier. That's all.” Sango told him looking down at the sidewalk.

He would have asked her again but they were already at his car. He unlocked the doors and got in. He saw Sango get in on the other side of him and watched as she put on her seatbelt. He then put his on and started the car; he put the car into drive and drove off down Tainted Shard.

“Sango, are you sure there's nothing wrong?” Miroku asked again.

“Yes Miroku, everything is fine.” Sango said looking at her hands.

“Well if everything is fine, why did you run away?” Miroku asked looking out at the road.

“Because, why not run away?”

“Sango there has to be a reason why you ran away. You can't just run away because you feel like it.” Miroku told her.

“Why should I tell you? I mean I just met you and you wanna know about my life. How can I trust you?” Sango asked looking at him.

“You can trust me Sango; I would want to hurt you. I consider you my friend, my pal, you can tell me. I will try my best to make everything feel better.” Miroku said looking at her a little bit.

“Fine, can you pull over. I want your attention.” Sango said looking out the window.

Miroku slowed down and pulled over to the side of the road. He turned off the car and looked at Sango. She had her head faced towards the window and he knew she was thinking about what she was going to say.

“Sango? You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to.” Miroku told her looking away.

“No Miroku, I wanna tell you. I just don't know how.” Sango said looking at Miroku who looked at her at the same town. She felt a small blush creep on her face.

“Sango, when ever you're ready.”

“Alright, well remember when you asked me if I wanted a ride? How I said no? Well I went home because my mom didn't come, so I walked home. When I got there my Aunt Keiko's car was in the drive-way. So I thought she was coming to visit us, because she always does. Well I went inside and I saw everything messed up or broken, like our coffee table. I also saw blood. I called for my mother and my aunt said that they were in the kitchen. I walked in and I saw my mother with a bloody nose and I saw my father looking at my mother, like if he was pissed off at her. Then my aunt said she was taking my mother and brother away from me. I got all pissed off and yelled at both of them, and then I went to my room.” Sango said pausing so she could take a breath. “When they started to get my brother he started screaming, so I went to comfort him. Then he asked me if I was going with him. I said no. So a few minutes later my aunt had my brother and mother in the car, and they drove off. Then I looked at my dad and he looked at me and came upstairs. I decided to get some stuff together and run away. So here I am now, not knowing where I'm gonna go.”

“Sango I'm so sorry! I had no idea that it was that bad!” Miroku said with concern in his voice. “Don't worry Sango; you can come to my house.”

“No way! I can already see the image in your mind Houshi-sama. That's that look that you're thinking something perverted!” Sango told him.

“No I swear I won't do anything while you're there! Sango I'm not letting you go back to your house.” Miroku said arguing. “You're coming to my house and that's final!”

“Fine, I'll go. But if you do one thing perverted…” Sango trailed off at the end.

“Right, don't worry I won't. I mean you just ran away from your father, I won't do anything to upset you.” Miroku told her.

Sango looked at him, making sure that he wasn't lying. She was satisfied and turned around. She heard Miroku start the engine again and they drove off again. She just looked out the window looking at the familiar surroundings of Tokyo. They passed by the park that Sango used to play at when she was a kid. Before her father started abusing her.

Flashback

“Mommy I wanna play on this one!” a little Sango exclaimed. She watched as her pregnant mother came over to her 7 year old daughter and helped her on the swing.

“Are you sure this one Sango? It seems a little dangerous.” Karou told Sango.

“Yes mommy I'm sure I want to get on this one! Hurry mommy push me!” Sango exclaimed on the swing.

“Alright Sango, hold on tight.”

Sango squealed with excitement as her mother began to push her back and forth on the swing. Her mother started laughing at Sango's excitement and began to push her a little bit harder.

“Mommy! Look I'm flying!” Sango exclaimed kicking her feet in the air.

“Yes you are Sango! C'mon honey let's go get an ice cream.” Karou said stopping the swing and helping Sango off.

“Alright mommy! Can I get two scoops?”

“We'll see sweetie, yes I want two cones, one strawberry and the other one chocolate with two scoops.” Karou said smiling at her daughter.

“Here you go ma'am. That will be $2.00.” the ice cream man said. Karou gave him the money and they walked off.

“Sango after this do you want to go to the hospital? So we can see if you're having a little brother or sister?”

“Sure mommy! Right after we finish our ice cream!” Sango exclaimed licking her ice cream.

After they finished their ice cream they walked to the hospital, to check if Sango was having a brother or sister. After a few minutes of testing they waited in the waiting room. Sango sat down on the chair swinging her legs back and forth. After an hour the nurse called them.

“We found out that you're having a little brother! Mrs. Taijaiya we need you to sign some papers, so when it comes time you can deliver the little boy here.” The nurse said taking out papers.

“A little brother! Mommy I'm so excited!” Sango exclaimed. “We can play together and watch TV together!”

“Yes you can sweetie, now lets go. Daddy's going to pick us up.” Karou told her, grabbing her little hand.

“Ok mommy.” Sango said walking out of the hospital with her mother.

End Flashback

“Sango? Hello Sango?” Miroku said calling her. “Are you still there?”

“Huh? Yeah I'm still here, I was just thinking of something. It's nothing” Sango covered up.
“Alright Sango, I believe you. Anyways, we're here.” Miroku said turning off the engine. He opened the door and got out. He walked over to Sango's door to see that she was just sitting there. “Sango are you coming? Don't worry, Mushin won't mind.”

“It's not that Miroku, it's just that. I don't know.” Sango told him.

“C'mon Sango, you're probably just really tired. We have a guest room so you won't have to sleep in the living room.” Miroku said taking her hand and helped her out of the car.

“Thanks Miroku, I really appreciate it.” Sango said getting out. She noticed that he still hadn't let go of her hand. “Um, Miroku you can let go of my hand now.”

“Right, sorry about that Sango, but I felt that if I let go I might loose you.” Miroku said still holding her hand.

“Thanks Miroku, but its ok.” Sango said, taking her hand away still blushing. “I can't believe you're doing this to me.”

“Doing what Sango?”

“You're making me all mushy and stuff. I mean I haven't been like this for awhile, ever since Jonathan broke up with me.” Sango said looking down.

“Who is this Jonathan; I mean Akira mentioned him yesterday. Who is he? Did break your heart?” Miroku asked her.

“Yes, he did. But it's in the past now, I'm completely over it.” Sango said walking towards the door.

“Alright Sango,” Miroku said taking out his keys. “Well here we are, this is my home.”

Sango stepped into Miroku's house and began looking around. The living room was decent; it had a couch, coffee table, love seat, and a few pictures. She walked over to the couch and sat down. She wasn't expecting it to feel so soft and comfortable. Her couch sucked ass, but this one was better. She looked around some more and noticed there was a fire place; she never had one of those.

“Sango, why are you staring at my fire place?” Miroku asked.

“Because I've never had one before, I always wanted one though. Like when its winter I can get a warm blanket with some hot chocolate and just sit by the fire.” Sango said pulling her legs up to her chest. “Now I'm getting cold, damn thought.”

“If you want I can light it for you, so you won't be cold and blame your thoughts.” Miroku said grinning.

“No it's alright, I'm tired. So, can you show me where the guest room is?” Sango said getting up from the comfortable couch.

“Sure alright.” Miroku said. “It's right over here.”

Miroku escorted Sango to the guest room, when he opened the door Sango stood in awe. The walls were colored a yellow color, that wasn't to bright; the sheets on the bed were also a yellow color with blue stars on it. Here pillow looked like that blanket and on the pillow was a stuffed animal of a little cat. (A/N: no that stuffed animal is not Kirara. It's a little stuffed animal that is yellow and the eyes are stars, matches her room too!)

“Wow Miroku, this is a nice room. But the colors a little bright don't ya think?”

“Well my mother painted it like this, I left it like this because this is the last thing she ever did. She loved painting and this was her project.”

“Oh, I'm sorry Miroku.” Sango said. “But it really is a nice room, just too yellow, but since your mom worked on it, I guess its fine.”

“Sango if you need anything my room is just across the hall ok? Also, don't get freaked if you see a drunken old guy in your room ok?”

“Miroku, I think anyone who saw that the first thing in the morning would get freaked and run out of the house so fast, also. Why would he come in here?”

“Because, he always comes into this room. But he doesn't understand that this is the guest room and his room is next door. That's probably what he thinks, that this is his room. What an old fart. Anyways, good-night Sango.” Miroku said turning to the door.

“Night Miroku,” Sango said after him. “Oh, and Miroku, thank you.”

“You're welcome Sango.” Miroku said closing her door.

Sango looked around her room and walked over to the dresser. She opened up and looked in there. She didn't know why but she felt like something was watching her. She looked threw all the drawers and found nothing. So she turned to the bed, she looked under and still didn't find anything. She looked around in little corners, and then she finally decided to look in the closet. She opened it and looked around. She saw a string and pulled it. A light turned on and she looked around, then she met red eyes.

“AAAAHHHH!!!!”

“SANGO WHAT'S WRONG?!” Miroku asked running into her room. He saw her in the corner near the closet on her behind, sitting there.

“There's something in the closet Miroku.” Sango said still sitting in the corner.

Miroku walked over to the closet and looked in there. He didn't see anything and turned back to Sango.

“Sango there's nothing in there.” Miroku said looking at her again.

“Look in the corner; I swear there's something in there.”

Miroku went back over and looked again. He looked in all the corners then finally saw those red eyes. He smiled and picked up the thing and took it out.

“Miroku you idiot! Why are you holding it! What if it bites you? You could get rabies!” Sango yelled. “Put it down!”

“Sango it's alright, it's just a cat. A demon cat, but a cat.” Miroku said. “I wonder how she got in here.”
“Come to think of it, she's kinda cute. I guess the thing that startled me was her eyes.” Sango said going over to Miroku.

“Ya, so do ya wanna keep her?” Miroku asked.

“Huh?” Sango said looking over at Miroku. “I don't know, I mean I've never had an animal before.”

“Well, if you want. I can't keep her because of Mushin, he doesn't like animals. If you don't take her, I have to give her to the pound.”

“I guess I'll keep her, it would be cool to have a pet.” Sango said petting her.

“What are you going to name her?” Miroku asked handing the cat to Sango.

“I don't know,” Sango said taking the cat and petting her. “How about…Kirara?”

“I like that name.” Miroku said. “Well, I'm gonna go back to bed. Good-night again Sango.”

“Good-night Miroku.” Sango said as she watched Miroku exit her room. She turned to her bed and laid down with Kirara. “He's okay, once you get used to him Kirara.”

Sango covered herself with the blanket and drifted of into sleep.

Sango's Nightmare

Sango was running, but she had no idea where she was going. She saw her world around her pass her by. Her father hitting her for the first time, her brother being born early, her mother with a cut up face, her father yelling and yelling, her aunt coming and taking her mother and brother away, her father's angry face when he saw Sango in her room, running away, running into those demons, Miroku saving her.

“Wait a minute! Miroku! Miroku where are you?” Sango screamed into the now dark room. “Miroku! Miroku!”

She looked around, seeing nothing but darkness still. All of a sudden, she saw a light. It wasn't bright, but she could see it faintly. She began walking towards it. She could feel her hair whip around her, but she couldn't feel the wind blowing at all. She continued walking down the dark passage, not knowing what it would bring her. The light got brighter and brighter as she got closer. She looked and saw her mom and Kohaku lying on the floor, motionless.

“Mom! Kohaku! Are you ok?” Sango said running towards them. She looked at them with tears in her eyes. “Mom, Kohaku, wake up!”

“They won't wake up Sango, they are gone.” Someone said. “You will be next.”

Sango looked up to see none other then her father, Toshiro, standing right above her with a knife in his hand ready to strike.

“Dad! What are you doing? Why did you kill them?!” Sango yelled at him.

“I killed them because they left me. Now I will kill you because you left me” Toshiro said getting the knife ready.

“No dad! Stop!” Sango yelled. “AAAAHHHH!!!!”

End of Sango's Nightmare

Sango woke up dripping with sweat. She looked around and saw that she was in Miroku's guest room. She got out of bed and walked to the window. She opened it and saw that is was sunny outside.

“Must have over slept.” Sango said to herself. “I wonder why Miroku let me sleep when he knows we have school today.”

Sango opened her door and walked down the hallway (A/N: it's a one story house) and into the small kitchen. There she was Miroku at the stove with a little chef's hat on cooking.

`He looks so funny.' Sango thought to herself. “Good morning Miroku.”

“Oh, good morning Sango. You startled me, have a good sleep?” Miroku asked looking at her. He had flower on his face and he looked really funny.

“Yeah, it was ok.” Sango lied. She didn't wanna tell him about the dream. “Miroku didn't they ever tell you you're supposed to put the flower in the mix and not on your face?”

“No actually, no one ever told me that. Thank you though Sango!” Miroku said grinning then turning back around so he could finish.

“So, what did ya make?” Sango asked sitting down on an island stool.

“Pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, and to wash it all down I have orange juice, milk, or if you're a plain Jane we have water. Unless you want tea.” Miroku finished still cooking.

“Damn, what a choice. I'm scared to eat; you might think I'm a pig.” Sango said smiling,

“Nah, I'm used to it. My old friends used to eat a lot too. They loved my cooking.” Miroku said laughing a little.

“Wow, they actually liked your cooking?”

“Hey I take offence! My cooking isn't that bad.” Miroku said pouting a little bit.

“Hey Miroku, how old are you?” Sango asked him.

“I'm 17; I just turned 17 last week.” Miroku told her flipping a pancake. “Here are your pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The sausage is over there and just tell me what kinda drink you want. Also, how old are you?”

“I want milk, please. I'm 16. I'll turn 17 next month.” Sango told him getting her pancakes ready. “I'm kinda scared to eat this.”

“Sango that's really mean. I worked very hard on making those. Can you at least try them? Besides, if you start suffocating I'll give you mouth-to-mouth.” Miroku said grinning.

“You're such a pervert.” Sango said taking a bite of her pancakes. “Hey, they're not that bad.

“I told you they weren't. Now hurry up and eat. We have a long day ahead of us.” Miroku said going back to cooking.

“Where are we going?” Sango asked looking up from her breakfast.

“It's a surprise.” Miroku said giving Sango her milk. “I don't wanna ruin it.”

“Ok Houshi-sama, don't tell me. I'll just find out myself.” Sango told him finishing her food. “That was really good Miroku. Thanks a lot. Also I have a question.”

“You're welcome, shoot.”

“Why did you keep me from school? This is barely your second day and you're not going, I wanna know why.”

“Well you are a run away Sango, don't you think that your dad would look for you there first? I mean c'mon, your dad isn't stupid. He'd know exactly where to look.”

“Oh, but don't you think Inuyasha and the other's will get suspicious? I mean we both ain't there, they might think we're doing something.” Sango told him.

“I'm pretty sure they won't think that. Do you want to do something Sango?” Miroku said with his perverted smirk.

“No! You're such a pervert Miroku!” Sango yelled. “I'm going to my `room'”

Miroku watched Sango go down the hallway to the guest room. He sighed and continued eating his pancakes. He finished and went to wash the dishes and all the other pots and pans he used. After he finished he went to Sango's `room' as she put it, to go see what she was doing.

“Sango?” Miroku said knocking on the door. “Can I come in?”

“No!”

“Sango why are you mad?”

“I'm not mad!”

“Well then why are you yelling at me?”

“Because it's fun!”

“C'mon Sango, please?” Miroku said begging.

“Fine, just hold on.”

Miroku heard Sango get up and walk to the door. He heard her sniffle and blow her nose. He wondered what had made her cry, or maybe she had allergies. Oh well, guess he has to find out.

Sango finally opened the door and looked at the floor; Miroku tried to look at her face but found it was easier said then done.

“Sango what's wrong?” Miroku asked her.

“Nothing.”

“Sango something is wrong, you were crying weren't you?”

“No I wasn't crying. Why do you ask?”

“Because I heard you sniffle and blow your nose, but it could also mean that you have allergies but then again, I don't think you do.” Miroku finished.

“What if I do have allergies?”

“Well, for one thing your eyes are red, you look a little pale, and you still have tear stains on your cheek. So I would think you were crying.”

“You suck.”

“I'm hurt Sango, do you love hurting me?” Miroku asked putting a hand to his heart.

“Yes I love hurting you! So, where are we going?” Sango asked again still looking at the floor.

“I told you it's a surprise. So you're gonna have to wait.”

“Hey Miroku, where's the restroom?”

“Down the hallway, last door on your left.”

“Thanks, I'm gonna take a shower.” Sango said grabbing her back pack and walking past Miroku. “Don't even think about spying on me Miroku!”

“I won't Sango I promise.” Miroku said with his famous smirk.

A Few Minutes Later

“MIROKU I TOLD YOU NOT TO COME IN HERE!” Sango yelled.
“I didn't mean to Sango I swear! It's just that I forgot something in here so I had to come back and get it!” Miroku defended himself.

“YOU'RE SUCH A LIAR!! WHAT DO YOU NEED THAT IT COULDN'T WAIT TILL I WAS OUT OF THE SHOWER?!!”

“…My toothbrush.”

“LIAR! YOU CAME TO SPY ON ME!”

“I swear Sango I came to get my toothbrush! I have it now so I'm going to leave.” Miroku said running to the door.

“Stupid hentai…”

A Few Minutes Later (again)

Sango walked out of the restroom fully clothed in black pants and a black shirt that says “I'm Not Okay (I Promise)” and in the back said “You ware me out!” She went to the living room where Miroku was sitting reading a book.

“Wow, I didn't know you could read.” Sango said smiling.

“Yes Sango I can read.” Miroku said still looking down at the book.

“What are you reading?” Sango asked him sitting down on the love seat.

“Marry Higgins Clark, On the Street Where You Live. Have you ever read it before?”

“Yes! Oh my God! I love Marry Higgins Clark! I love the story Daddy's Little Girl! That ones so exciting!” Sango exclaimed.

“Ya that one was good, I love all her books.”

“Me too! What a coincidence, we like the same author.” Sango said putting her head down.

“Ya that is cool, Sango what kinda music do you like?”

“I like rock, what about you?”

“Rock also, what's your favorite band?”

“Um, I like Papa Roach, System of a Down, Hoobastank, Breaking Benjamin, I love My Chemical Romance, and I especially love Evanescence!”
“Ya I like the same bands, plus Nickleback, Slipknot, and I don't like Papa Roach. They aint that much of a rock band now.”

“Hey take that back! Papa Roach is the best rock band ever! Not like Slipknot!”

“I'm gonna tell Stephanie you said that!”

“You wouldn't dare!”

“Oh yes I would! I have her number so I can do that!”

“How did you get her number?”

“I looked in your phone book when you were in the shower, wait that was a wrong answer.”

“You bet it was! I'm gonna kick your ass!”

“NO SANGO!!”

With that Miroku sprang up from the coach and began running for his life. Sango was right behind him.

“MIROKU GET BACK HERE NOW DAMNIT!”

“NO WAY!”

They continued for about 30 minutes. Sango yelling threats and Miroku running and screaming like a little girl.

DING DONG!!

“Who is it?” Miroku yelled out from behind the coach.

“It's the police, is there a Miroku Houshi living here?” the police officer asked.

“Yes I'm him.” Miroku said getting up. He looked at Sango who looked like she was scared.

“Sir, we are here because of a report that you kidnapped a girl named Sango Taijaiya.”
