What is Sesshoumaru-sama's fluffy thing?

Have you ever wonder what the thing of Sessy's shoulder is? Well I do.

Is it soft and fluffy as it looks or is it rough? I hope it's soft because I know lots of girls

want to snuggle into it and I'm one of them

Dose it move on it own like a tail or is just moved by Sessy hand or the wind?

But what is it?

Well here are some possibilities I have heard

a tail((ok this is my favorite possibly and it fits in a way because he is a dog demon but I don't see it growing out of any where on his back side so it might not be but I still like to think so))

A boa ((This theory seems to call into question Sesshoumaru's gender and sexual preference. The Great Demon is as feminine a bishounen as any I've seen. Many fans have admitted that they were unsure of his gender upon first meeting))

a weapon/whip ((ok well this is one true one because when inuyasha and Sesshoumaru fight, Sessy wraps it around Inu so this one is kinda true))

armpit hair(( well it's just a idea I read some where))

it's an anti-cat weapon! ((Another thought that popped in my head late one night. Sesshoumaru is a dog. Dogs don't like cats. Cats don't like hairballs. Sesshoumaru has a giant fluffy thing. Giant fluffy thing + cat = giant cat hairball. ))

part of his true from that stays behind((now this one seems every interesting because when he's in dog form, he has both a large grey fluffy thing over his shoulder AND a tail, which doesn't look like the fluffy thing ))

part of fur from his dad((no clue on this one))

well there is many other things it could be but this is some of the main and funny ones but I do truly wonder what is that thing that looks so soft and cuddly on Sesshoumaru-sama `s shoulder
