Endless Tunnel
 
I try to let go
Of the feelings
That are eating me up inside
I'm falling down
A vertical tunnel
From which I cannot hide
You are the one
With the safety rope
Come to save me
From my doom
But why is it
At times
When I look at you
The love never seems to bloom?
 
This is the endless darkness
As I fall down and down
You are the light in the blackness
Come to watch me drown
You are the safety net
Here to catch me when I fall
Only to snap when I touch you
Content with my suicide call
 
I try to wake up
Out of this feeling
That is slowly engulfing me
I'm falling into
An inescapable shaft
From which I cannot flea
You are the one
With the helping hand
Come to save me
From the drop
That is why
At times
When I hold you
My heart seems to stop.
 
 
This is the endless darkness
As I fall down and down
You are the light in the blackness
Come to watch me drown
You are the safety net
Here to catch me when I fall
Only to snap when I touch you

Underneath that façade
I know you really care
Despite you're snapping
And you're slapping
I know the feelings there
Underneath that tough exterior
Is someone who is in love
But when I fall down this endless tunnel
You will quietly watch from above
 
This is the endless night
As I fall, heaven-sent
Yours is the only light
That spotlights my decent
You are the angel

The only one who notices
