InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Warmth ❯ One-Shot

[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

Disclaimer: No I don't own InuYasha...Takahashi Rumiko-san does...If I did...Kagome would not be so annoying, she would be in a yuri relationship with Sango, and Miroku, InuYasha, and Sesshou-maru would be in a yaoi threesome. *maniacal laughter*

Warnings: Contains yuri, which face it you all know, is GIRLXGIRL AKA LESBIAN RELATIONSHIPS. The pairing is Kikyo/Kagome. It's also citrusy, meaning it has hentai implications. If this makes you feel uncomfortable, please press the back button. Thank you ^^

A/N: Oi....I've been so short on fanfiction ideas lately I thought I had met my end *gurgles and collapses to floor* ... but, today, I hit my head so many times (and hard too! It hurt lots!) that when the pain finally went away, I got an idea! Oh, thank you evil friends of mine who insist I hit my own head, thank you!!!

By the way, I haven't read any other Kikyo/Kagome stuff so if there's a fic like this, don't worry I didn't copy kk? Arigatou ^^

Just a note: This ficcy is a what-if of the episode where Kikyo (or is it Naraku?) traps everyone in their fears (I think. *hits self*), where she meets up with Kagome and, while holding her in the air with her Soul-Gatherers (do I even say it? Okies...I think that's what they're called), steals her Shikon shard. Yeah. Like I said, what could have happened.

Well, enjoy my one-shot! *strokes it possessively* It's my baby....*glares*

"InuYasha must die..."

Kikyo felt the words tumble out of her mouth, coldly, with no tone whatsoever. Her eyes were serene, blank, though narrowed and dark, accenting her pale features and long raven hair. She swished the said hair with amusement; she could almost feel the fear gliding through the air...

Though she couldn't care less about Naraku's plans, or gathering together the scattered pieces of the shikon no kakera, the plan to trap the InuYasha-taachi in their own fears, and steal a rather large shard of the jewel from this 'Higurashi Kagome' was too irresistable to turn down...InuYasha deserved pain...she needed him to feel the same pain she had felt, simply knowing him, quarreling with him, loving him...

She shivered slightly. The chill was strong around her was strong, mingling with her own cold skin and resonating within her...building the newfound ice in her heart. Kikyo lifted a pale hand blankly, deep eyes reflecting down upon it. What was warmth? She had forgotten long ago...when the sunlight's warmth on her skin faded from her senses and she had died that day long, long ago...Now when she needed warmth, a Soul-Gatherer would approach her with another soul of a young girl; she would feel the warmth of that child's heart before it all became icily still like the rest of her.

And then...it had come with that day, when Kagome somehow penetrated her barrier, trying to convince her how InuYasha was still in love with the cold-hearted priestess; how Naraku had tricked them into fighting. She had simply bound the annoying girl to a tree and waited for InuYasha to arrive. Funny, how they shared the same soul...they were so far from being alike. Kagome was naive, childish, still growing up.

When the demon boy finally came, she experienced the elusive warmth again, when she would drag him down to hell with her, she had taken his wonderfully warm lips into her again...to herself it was revenge, and a final goodbye to the love she had once held in her heart. Against her own icy lips, his heat had resonated within her; satisfying her one last time.

But it was so far away...even as close as they were, the half-dog-demon's heart, his soul, his very warmth she so longed for again was overwhelmingly far from touch...

She closed her eyes in amusement, lowering the frigid hand to her side. So...she was alone in her cold world...so it should be. She wasn't afraid.

"...K-Kikyo!" came a high-pitched yell. With another amused grin, the raven-haired priestess opened her eyes, stepping toward the intruder.

A/N: I don't remember exactly what happened at this point, so don't yell at me for getting it wrong. I haven't seen this eppy in...forever, it seems.

"Where are the others?!" Higurashi Kagome panted, her own raven hair, lively and spilling freely to her shoulders, bobbing in her anger. "Where is InuYasha and everyone else!" Her brown eyes had widened; and her voice trembled. She seemed desperate. "Kikyo...!"

Kikyo seemed uninterested. "The same...where you'll be."

"Uh...!" Kagome's feet began to sink; she looked down in time to see the earth rupturing under her, crumbling. She shrieked as she plummeted, until awrm currents of air seemed to surround her. With a frantic glance down, familiar, snake-like demons of silvery light had wrapped around her, lifting her slowly to the taller woman. "Kikyo..." was all Kagome could whisper, too overwhelmed to comprehend anything.

"Every weakness you have betrays you..." Kikyo muttered. "And the smallest of such can be your demise."

Kagome was so different...they shared the same soul, but they were like opposites...Kagome was day, Kikyo was night, Kagome was life, Kikyo was death...Kagome was warmth...and Kikyo was ice...

Warmth...she needed the warmth of this other side of her soul...

"Kikyo..." Kagome was overwhelmingly confused. "Why...why are you doing this? Why are you trying to kill InuYasha...? He still loves you...even after fifty years, he's still in love with you...you claim that he betrayed you, but by treating him like this after all this time, you're betraying him..."

"Quiet." Kikyo lifted her hands to the young girl's face, who winced at the touch, eyes focused on the woman before her. It was almost too much, the heat in this girl's skin...she slid her hands gently over Kagome's face, relishing the feel.

"Kikyo...!" Kagome whined, flinching even more and trying to pull away, though the Soul-Gatherers held her tight.

"What?!" the woman snapped.

"You're cold..."

The priestess softened in the slightest at this, though she kept her fingers pressed against the girl's skin. Finally, she settled on cupping her chin forcefully, and pulling Kagome toward her own face curiously.

"Kikyo...why...what are you doing?!" Kagome's voice was barely a whisper. The situation was too much...

This other side of my soul...

"I...I need this..." Without a second thought, she crushed their lips together. Kagome squirmed, trying to pull away; though the Soul-Gatherers once again successfully held her there to Kikyo's will. Moving her lips easily over Kagome's, she opened her mouth into her own, and delved into the girl's sweet taste. Kagome was light, Kagome was heat...the need inside Kikyo was growing stronger for everything her reincarnation was.

To Kagome, however, it was like torture...the feeling of icy death in her mouth was unbearable...not to mention...

Kikyo was a girl! And she was kissing Kagome, who was another girl! Ewww! She had gotten her first kiss from another woman!

The woman became more forceful in the kiss; breaking off to gather air before rushing in again, tilting her head and demanding submission from Kagome, who was trying to resist as best she could. Though it didn't last long...with a small moan she gave into Kikyo's attack on her mouth. Kikyo didn't resist the small pang of satisfaction, and, allowing her air for a moment's time, before pulling in again.

No...no...Kagome was in agony. These were things she imagined doing with InuYasha...or at least Hojo. Or rather, things InuYasha should do with Kikyo...but for her and Kikyo...to kiss?

This wasn't right...

Kagome had lost all sense of the outside world; though she felt the flicker of icy fingers against her stomach--at which she broke the kiss and gasped.

Kikyo snickered slightly. "What...did I surprise you?" She caressed Kagome's navel slowly, lowering slowly to the brim of her skirt.

"K-Kikyo...!" Kagome could barely speak.

She ran both her hands down Kagome's clothed hips, finally stopping when she reached her legs, grasping them fully.

"Demo..." The school girl was being tortured slowly, by her thoughts and by the sensations Kikyo brought to her skin. She was so cold...but she...

Kikyo massaged the soft skin slowly, moving upward slightly with each forceful knead; until she reached the hem of Kagome's skirt, at which she removed a hand, using the remaining one to push teasingly at the cloth.

"Do...you want this?" Kikyo began.

But...InuYasha...I...

"Do you?" Kikyo was getting impatient.

Kagome could only whimper. Taking this as a yes, the woman slid a hand up slowly, relishing the feel.

"I..."

Kikyo...

"LET ME GO!!" Kagome shrieked, struggling mightly at the Soul-Gatherers, who held strong. Kikyo flinched though, pulling away rapidly. Kagome's face was flushed, but her eyes were teary and in agony...

"Feh..." Kikyo approached the girl again. Kagome released a loud sob, frightened, as Kikyo planted another, hesitant kiss on her lips, pulling the shikon shard from around her neck and pulling away with an emptiness shining in her eyes. She seemed to fade into the night.

Kagome fell limply to the ground when the Soul-Gatherers released her, eyes widened. Everything had once again become still, quiet...she had to stand, but she felt so numb and lifeless...

Kagome had never felt so cold before.
