"You," Inu Yasha growled out. "You let her go!"
"I should like to see why." He advanced on Kagome, preparing to snatch her and flee. "I have such a lovely advantage at this point." Despite her resistence, Sesshomaru lifted Kagome up onto his shoulder. "Farewell InuYasha," he said in a mocking tone "I have other things to attend to than annoying little brothers." With that, Sesshomaru jumped out of the ring of trees, going through the forest.
"I have to go get her!" Inu Yasha shouted, turning to chase after him. Her stopped as Hanran yanked on his arm. "What the hell are you doing!?!" he shouted.
"You cant just run off into the forest," Hanran hissed at him. "Remember, that is what got us into this mess! For once do as your told, I lead, you follow." she said to him, rude and impatiently. Inu Yasha slumped his shoulders, admitting that he himslef had almost gotten lost in the forest.
"Come on!" Hanran said. She led off into the forest, following what Inu Yasha took to be a trail.
"You certain that you know where you're going?" he said, not trusting Hanran.
Back at the camp, Shippo was waking up. He yawned hugely, his mouth stretching widely. "Ka...Ka...Kagome?" he finally got out, amidst the yawns.
"She's gone." Miroku said, "Hanran and Inu Yasha as well."
'We can count on him to know where all the girls are.' Shippo thought. "Where?" she asked, walking over to him.
"I don't know."
"What about the Abareuma? Do they know?" Shippo was fast becoming concerned.
"Into the forest is all that they know."
"Where are you taking me?" Kagome shouted.
"Elsewhere." Sesshomaru said, his voice filled with hatred and loathing. Kagome had stopped fighting, she knew that there was no use. She would say that it would delay the inevitable, but it most likely wouldn't even make it blink.
