Kingdom Hearts: Supreme Adventure By: DJ Rodriguez   (Author’s Notes: I’m quick, I know. But I still hope to see some reviews in all of the chapters I put up.   Darien: Also, the reason that Sora has the Kingdom Keyblade is due to DJ’s aversion to stay in line of the games. Thus, Sora’s going to start a new journey thus he has to retain the original weapon.   DJ: We hope this grabs your attention, and we like to extend a thank you to Saiyan Moon Goddess who gave us the ideas on which villains to use here! Thanks SMG, you cool!   Now, on with the fanfic!)

The Removing of Worlds

Sora and Ariel were not having a good day right now. They had just defeated a Heartless/Nobody fusion monster, discovered that Ariel was another wielder of the Keyblade, and now getting a stern talking to by King Triton. The Merman King was just furious! Letting Ariel come into contact to the surface world was one thing, but fighting monsters was something he wanted to avoid entirely.   “Ariel, this is unacceptable! Going to the surface world was one thing, but fighting a beast is another! You could have been killed!” the king exclaimed angrily. He had lost his wife some time ago, and he did not want to lose any of his daughters. Especially his youngest that brought so much joy in his life.   “Daddy, please! If I didn’t help Sora, he would have been killed and then I would have been next.” Ariel put in. She just had to get some kind of advantage in this little debate. “I need to go with Sora now, to find out what this new enemy is. It maybe more powerful then Ursula!” The king was now livid at this suggestion, his trident glowing yellow with power.   “No! I forbid it, Ariel! This boy has already put you in enough danger as it is!” Triton declared. Sora was a bit hurt by that statement, but he knew it to be the truth. He was about to say something when Ariel did something unexpected. She pulled out her Crabclaw key and pointed it at her father. “Ariel, what are you doing?” the king inquired slowly. This was taking a very sharp turn, at least for him.   “Father, look at this. The Keyblade chose me, it appeared when I tried to help Sora.” Ariel started to say. She slowly put the Keyblade to her side. “Daddy, listen to me please. I need to go with Sora, to see what is going on. If this enemy is more powerful then that sea witch, then its only going to be a matter of time until it comes back here. I want to make sure that doesn’t happen.”   King Triton wanted to get angry, to order her daughter to stay at home and exile Sora from the kingdom and world. However, his anger started ebb away. He saw the wisdom in Ariel’s words; his trident was powerful, but not as much as the Keyblade. The kingdom would be in danger if more of these monsters came and he’d be little more then useless to stop them. He turned away from Ariel, sighing a bit to himself.   He felt a gentle hand on his left shoulder. His youngest but strong-spirited daughter whispered, “I’ll be okay, Daddy. Everything is going to be fine.” He put a hand on hers and gave a small sad smile. He turned around slowly to see Sora approaching him. “I promise to look after her and keep her safe, Majesty. I swear on my life.” he told the king.   Triton looked at his trident, sighed and looked at the young merboy again. “I appreciate the promise Sora, and I know you will fulfill it.” the King of Atlantica said. Ariel swam back to Sora, Sebastian and Flounder going to them to wish the two a fond farewell.   “Take care of yourself Ariel. You too, Sora.” the little yellow fish said as he swam to Ariel for a hug. Sebastian swam to Sora and said “Good luck on your journey, mon. I know you and Ariel are going to be okay.” Sora thanked him for the little vote of confidence. Ariel’s sisters also went over to wish Ariel good luck on her journey. King Triton asked on where Sora was going to first.   “I’m planning on seeing Yen Sid. He’s a very powerful wizard and knows a lot about what’s going on. I’m sure he’ll be able to help us.” Sora answered. This seemed to satisfy Triton for now. He pointed his trident at his daughter and Sora, and zapped them. It surprised them, but did not hurt them. They both felt a tingling sensation all over their bodies, and it slowly went away. Ariel asked on what he did, and he answered he gave them the ability to do Thunder magic.   “Also, I managed to increase Sora’s magical powers a little. I believe it will help in the long run.” Triton commented. Sora thanked him for the gifts, then told Ariel that they needed to go. She swam over to him, but before leaving she asked her father to tell Prince Eric the situation. He said that he would, if he ever came around. With a small smile on her face, Ariel said she was ready.   “Okay then, back to the Gummi Ship!” Sora declared. He held his Keyblade high, and a flash of light surrounded the duo! The mermaids, the King, the crab and the fish covered their eyes for a brief moment. When they opened them back up, they saw that Ariel and Sora were gone. “Good luck, my daughter. And to you too, Keybearer.” King Triton said as he looked up towards the surface.   ~At the Gummi Ship~   Sora opened his eyes and saw that he was back in the ship, in full human form. He turned around to see Ariel in human form as well, wearing the attire she worn before when Ursula turned her human the first time. “Ariel, are you okay?” he asked. This was of course her first time being teleported on a ship, and being in one in space as well.   Ariel simply nodded her head, being mesmerized by the computers and gadgets that were inside the Falcon Peak. Sora chuckled, seeing her expression like that of a child who was going on her first roller coaster ride. “Sora, what is this wonderful thing?” she asked in an awe-struck tone. The young man explained as best he could about the ship and its capabilities. He guided her to a seat behind his and sat her down in it, making sure she was fastened securely in it.   “Sora, who is this Yen Sid person you spoke about?” Ariel asked. Sora answered that he was a very powerful wizard, one who trained King Mickey and was considered to be wise in many things. “He also told me and the others about the Nobodies and Organization 13. Trust me, he’ll know what’s going on and what needs to be done.” he finished. The ship’s engines roared to life and the craft took off fast!   ~In the castle of Kingdom Hearts~   Unfortunately for them, Adel was monitoring them. “Where do you think you’re going?” she stated sinisterly as she held up a hand. Concentrating hard and with most of her power, she started to distort time and space. She was causing space to mix and shift about like it was being put in a blender! This ability was beyond the powers of Organization 13 and Maleficent combined!   The powerful woman’s face took on a hint of glee as she saw the worlds and courses began to fade and disappear. “Now young ones, let us see how you fare in other worlds?” Adel softly stated as she used her powers to its fullest.   ~In space~   Back at the Gummi Ship Falcon Peak, Sora was wondering why all of the sirens and alarms were blaring madly. “Sora, what’s going on?!” Ariel exclaimed over the noise. The young man answered back “I don’t know! Something’s wrong, but I don’t know what!” The ship then started to shake violently, tumbling over like a tumbleweed. Sora and Ariel screamed in fright, holding onto their seats tightly.   “We’re going down!” he shouted as the ship started to descend. He saw through his port screen that space seemed to be warping all around them. The worlds he saw were starting to fade out or just completely vanish in an instant. Just before the tumbling got too much and they both lost consciences, he saw a familiar world come into view. It was Agrabah, the home of Aladdin, Genie, and of course Princess Jasmine.   ~Near the Radiant Garden’s world~   Riku, Kairi, King Mickey, Goofy and Donald were within landing space of Radiant Gardens. The group was about to disembark when the space disturbance hit. The Gummi Ship started to rock violently and the world they were near at started to vanish. “Quick, everyone teleport to the world now before it disappears!” King Mickey exclaimed.   Using fast reflexes, Donald hit the teleportation button and the group managed to get to the world on time. Unfortunately, their ship remained where it was it. From their point of view, the craft vanished. As soon as the group hit earth, they felt the entire place shake and quake. People were screaming with fright and took cover in the various stores, Uncle Scrooge and his nephews huddled together at the Items Shop.   “What’s going on?!” Kairi exclaimed as she clung to Riku for safety and support. Donald and Goof clung to each other comically while Mickey tried to keep balance on his own. Several minutes passed, and the quake came to a stop. Everyone slowly started to come out of his or her hiding places, assessing the situation. The buildings were miraculously standing and it seemed that the only thing that came down were some hunks of ice from Scrooge’s store.   “Gwarsh, what do you think happened, your Majesty?” Goofy asked as he looked around the Town Square. Mickey answered “I don’t know, Goofy. But I bet it has to do something with this Adel character.” As the gang started towards the Borough, they ran into Leon, Yuffie, and Aerith.   “Your Majesty, are you okay?” Leon asked. Yuffie and Aerith asked the others if they were okay as well, and the group confirmed their status. “Leon, what in the world happened here?!” Donald exclaimed. He was really shook up about the events that just happened. Leon said that it was not safe to talk in the open, so he and the two members of the Radiant Gardens Watchers Committee took them to their new headquarters… the castle!   It was a long walk to the castle, but it was worth it. The group, minus Leon and the two girls, were astounded on what they saw. The castle was no longer dark and gloomy, but not totally bright and cheery. It was a mix of the two elements, an elegant manner in a serious tone. The Main Foyer was just the same as ever, only now painted in white and gold. Even the gargoyles and the ominous statues were replaced with busts of various heroes from their world.   Merlin came down from the upstairs, Cid by his side. “Welcome everyone, to our new headquarters! Lot more roomy then this loony wizard’s old house.” the technician stated in his own style. Merlin huffed and sent a simple stunning spell at the blonde man, knocking him back a bit. The others chuckled at the sight, then got back to the business at hand. “Merlin, can you tell us what just happened?” Riku asked.   The ancient wizard was in thought for a moment, then gave his answer. He replied “I have a feeling that it’s the work of Adel. She must have somehow manipulated time and space, distorting everything and sending all into a type of chaos.” This did not bode well for any of them. Xemnas, his Heartless and his Nobody, combined did not have that type of power. And to learn that Adel did just that was somehow unnerving.   “By the way, where is Sora? Isn’t he supposed to be with you?” Yuffie inquired. Aerith was also curious to wonder why the young man was not with them. Kairi looked at the ground, a bit uneasy while Riku did the same. Merlin sighed and told the two girls that Sora left some time ago due to “complications”. Leon and Cid were a bit surprised to hear about this.   “We need to go out soon and find him.” Leon stated in his serious tone. He looked at the King and at Riku and said “You two are formidable fighters, but to really beat this new enemy we need Sora.” The two warriors agreed on that. King Mickey told them the situation about Riku not being able to summon his Keyblade Soul Eater, and that made the morale drop a little.   “Come on then, Riku! We’re getting you and Kairi some new weapons!” Yuffie exclaimed cheerfully, dragging the two outside and back towards the Town Square. Donald and Goofy followed, wanting to get some upgrades for their own weapons. As the five left, the King and the rest started to discuss their plans for both searching for Sora, and finding more about Adel. This was going to be one tough battle for them all!   ~In Agrabah~   Jasmine was getting ready for bed when she felt the entire kingdom shake and quake violently. It lasted for several seconds, and when it ended the outcome was not so fortunate like at Radiant Gardens. The homes of many were now rubble, and some people were injured badly. The princess sent some of the Palace Guards out to tend to the people immediately. And still, Aladdin was nowhere near the area.   “I wonder what was that? That quake seemed… unnatural.” Jasmine said to herself. Before she could contemplate more, she saw a shooting star fall from the heavens. It was a large pure white one, and it landed near the Palace Gates! Jasmine had a feeling it was something worth checking out, so she hightailed it out of the palace and towards the gates. Along came her pet tiger Rajah, who was very protective of the princess.   Opening the gates, she found that the shooting star was actually a ship of some kind. She and the tiger carefully made their way around it, inspecting it. They came to the cockpit and gasped on whom she saw was in it. “Sora!” she exclaimed as she saw him and Ariel knocked out-cold. Slipping her fingers underneath the glass bubble, she mustered as much strength as she could and pried the barrier open. She grabbed the two and hauled them out of wreck.   “Come on, Rajah! We got to get them back at the palace!” she stated. She did not know who the redheaded girl was, but assumed that since she was traveling with Sora she was okay. The princess put Ariel on the tigers’ back and carried Sora on her own. The two ran back towards the palace, the human feeling that something big was on its way here and needed to be prepared.   ~At Twilight Tower~   In the high observation tower, the wizard Yen Sid was watching these events unfold through his crystal ball. He sighed, knowing now that Sora and his friends were going to be on a much turbulent and dangerous ride. When the worlds started to fade out, he made sure that the one he was on did not. He used every ounce of magical power in him to keep Twilight Town on the map, so to speak. It was draining and exhausting, but he knew it would benefit in the long run.   “This Adel woman… a very formidable foe. Already she has gathered the Heartless and Nobodies together, and has fused them together to make them stronger.” he said to no one in particular. The great wizard sighed again, feeling that this adventure was going to be extremely difficult. He also noticed that Sora’s clothes no longer had the fusion abilities the Good Fairies gave him on his last mission.   “I will try to get Sora to go to them, when he comes here of course.” he said as he left to go rest. However, he felt that it would be some time before the young hero would see him.   ~At the Gullwings Place~   Maleficent was lying down on a small cot, slowly regaining her strength. Pete and the small Gullwing Girls were watching over her, making sure she was going to be okay. The bumbling villian was wondering ‘What are we going to do? I’m sure not even that pipsqueak of a king, nor his buddies can defeat that witch Adel!’ He was very nervous and it showed.   The dark witch moaned, waking up from her slumber. “Where am I?” she asked in a pained voice. Pete went to her side and told her everything. “Maleficent, what are we going to do? There’s no way we can take on this Adel alone!” he squeaked out. The evil wielder of darkness sat up and started to contemplate on their next move. Then, an idea came to her!   “We don’t have to.” she started to say. “If I know my enemies well, they will fight against her. And when the time comes when she’s weak, that is when we’ll make our move.” She turned her attention to floating Gullwings and told them to keep her updated on the situation. The flighty girls made a salute before teleporting out. The evil witch laid back on the bed, wanting to rest more and recharge her magical reserves.   “I’ll go and see what I can do.” Pete said to her before lumbering out. The guy was a dope, sure. But even he could see that this game was now outside of their league. They needed help, and badly.   ~At Agrabah~   Princess Jasmine and her tiger friend had laid Sora and Ariel on some spare couches in her room, making them as comfortable as possible. When her father the Sultan saw her come in earlier with the two, he suggested to put them in the Guest Room. However, Jasmine stated firmly that Sora was one to be trusted and she’s look him and his friend personally. The girl had a stubborn streak like her late mother.   Jasmine was now in her bed robe, ready to go to sleep. She was in bed when she heard a low moan. It was Sora! She got up immediately and went to him. The young man slowly opened his eyes, trying to get some focus into them. He looked around, and soon saw Jasmine’s face clearly. “Princess… Jasmine?”   (Author’s Notes: Well, how do you all like it so far? I hope you aren’t too disappointed.   Darien: Adel is from the Final Fantasy series, but which one we have no idea. She’s the villain SMG gave to us, and we have yet still to identify her true powers.   DJ: Also, we would like some input on Kairi’s decision to be with Riku. Do you think she made the right choice, or believe that she made a mistake? If so, why?   R&R, no flames, enjoy, and leave long reviews!)
