Kingdom Hearts: Supreme Adventure By: DJ Rodriguez   (Author’s Notes: Hello everyone. This chapter is a complete rewrite of the original, and if you saw the first chapter, you would see I replaced one world with another. Its one of my favorite shows when I was a kid!   Darien: DJ got a DVD set of the series, and now he’s going to completely go nuts with this fanfic. But don’t worry, he’s not that long gone! Hopefully…   DJ: Hey! Well, we still need some help out there. Since Sora’s going to get new threads soon, we need to get some new clothes for Ariel and Jasmine since they will be adventuring and all. So, if any of you have any ideas on clothes for the trio, just let us know.   Now, on with the fanfic!)

Knowledge of Sorcerer

Ariel and Sora were heading off towards an unknown destination, now with a stowaway. The male Keyblade wielder inquired “Jasmine, how did you manage to sneak on board without us noticing?!” Jasmine gave them a sly grin and answered “Being with Aladdin taught me something about being stealthy.” Ariel asked if she was really ready for this. The Princess of Agrabah replied that this was something she felt she had to help with.   “Well, we can’t go back now in any case.” Ariel stated. Sora knew she was right, going over to the computer and checking out which way they were going. “Hmmm… according to the screen here, we’re going to Yen Sid’s Tower. But, it seems to have broken off somehow from Twilight Town.” the young man stated. The three Keyblade bearers looked at the screen in front of them, and indeed they saw a large piece of land floating in space. Sora knew that the place is where Twilight Town once stood at, but it was gone. Jasmine inquired “Who is this Yen Sid? Is he like Jafar?”.   Sora shook his head negatively and replied “No. He’s more powerful then that idiot, but he’s more reserved and in control. He’s the one who taught King Mickey everything he knows about magic.” As the craft approached the tall building, the girls were in awe on seeing such a spectacular sight. The stars were shining brightly, the setting sun of twilight having an enchanted glow, and rising moon giving off a shine of mystical quality. “I have never seen a more beautiful setting like this, even at home.” Jasmine said. Ariel said the same thing, looking up at the stars and sky from the ocean back home. In ten minutes, they landed near the now severed train tracks.   Sora helped the two ladies out of the Gummi ship, catching them as they jumped from the cockpit. The trio looked a little to their left to see a blue tramcar with a sorcerer’s hat parked behind the ship. “Guess with the tracks severed, that tram can’t go anywhere.” Sora said to himself. He walked with the lovely women to the base of the tower, the two looking up in amazement to see a structure built so high. “Sora, is it a long way to the top?” Ariel asked. The young man shook his head, explaining that while it looked high, the inside lead to other dimensions and would make it easier to both ascend and descend. The three walked up the steps and into the building.   Ariel and Jasmine saw the twisting spiral steps leading all the way up. “Sora, what do we do when we meet this Yen Sid?” the redhead inquired. The spikey-haired hero answered “We find out what’s going on. He knows nearly everything that happens around here, so he’ll be able to tell us what we’re up against. He’s the one who told me, Donald, and Goofy what happened when we woke up last time.” As the two climbed up the stairs and went through the large door, they did not see a figure emerging from the shadows underneath the steps. It was a duck, about Donald’s height, but dressed differently. He wore a yellow shirt, a black mask covering his eyes, a red fedora hat, and a black cape.   “Well, well. It seems that guests of honor have arrived. I’ll just send them a little greeting.” he chuckled sinisterly before merging back into the shadows.   ~Up on the second floor~   As the trio was walking up, Sora was watching in good amusement as his new girl friends looked all over the place in awe and wonder. Jasmine had seen many supernatural marvels before, but this surpassed all she had seen. Ariel was in the same league, witnessing some fantastic events in the sea but this beating them all. “Sora, remember that shark we faced back in Atlantica?” the former mermaid asked. When he said he did, she asked on why it looked different then before. “Well, I saw that the symbol on top of its head was a combination of Heartless and Nobodies crests. It means that someone has the ability to combine the two beings, and that is bad news.” he stated. When he asked why, Ariel pointed to the right corner of the room.   From the dark corners emerged creature similar to a Shadow Heartless, but nothing at all like them. They were smaller then Dusks, but larger then Shadows. They were dark gray, about Sora’s size, eyes glowing yellow, the antennas gone, and their arms sleek and deadly with claws-like fingers. Their legs were longer, having the form of a strong runner. They did not sway like Dusks, but had the fluidity of them. Sora and the girls summoned their Keyblades, back to back as more surrounded them and formed a tight ring. “What are these things?!” Jasmine exclaimed. Ariel pointed to their chests, which showed the same insignia that was on the shark.   “They must be something new, a combination of Dusks and Shadows!” Sora stated before getting ready. One of the Melders jumped in, crouched like a Shadow would but arms thrusted out in an attempt to crush/slash its enemies flat. Sora and the girls moved just in time, dodging the attack and swiping with their Keyblades. Unfortunately, as soon as the thing landed in the middle of the group, it jumped and did a flip, evading the attack and returning to its allies. “Darn it! It has the jumping power of a Shadow, but the aerial abilities of a Dusk! This is going to be tough.” The male Keybearer muttered. The ring of seven Melders jumped in and once, and the fight had begun!   ~At Radiant Gardens~   It was a noisy place in the R.G. (Radiant Garden) laboratory, Cid working with Tron in designing a new Gummi ship. Thanks to the security program, it managed to duplicate what the MCP did, bringing items from the cyber world into the real world. The human technician was having a tough time trying to come up with a suitable design that would accommodate Riku and the others on their journey to find Sora. Tron opted more for defensive models while Cid was more into offensive designs. So, it was going to be awhile until things would be underway.   Outside of the laboratory at the Postern, Riku and Kairi were practicing with their new weapons. The silver-haired teen felt a little out of place on using a weapon besides his Soul Eater, but knew that practicing would make him feel more accustomed to his new one. Kairi was firing some targets in the sky, the blue bolts of magical energy destroying the plates that were thrown up by Donald and Goofy. The young lady had a natural talent for shooting, and her long-range weapon would back up Riku since he was more of a close-range fighter.   They had been practicing for about two hours, but Kairi was slowing down. After destroying her 50th plate, she sighed and sat down on one of the wall edges. Riku stopped in mid-swing of his new weapon and went over to her. “Kairi, what’s wrong?” he asked. The young lady turned and looked at her boyfriend, the sad and faraway look in her eyes. “Riku… I miss him. It just doesn’t feel the same without Sora here.” she confessed. The former Keyblade wielder sighed, putting both hands on Kairi’s shoulders. “I know, I know. Don’t worry, we’ll find him. And hopefully he would have calmed down a bit by now.” he assured her.   Donald and Goofy looked at the couple, not sure what to do. “You know, its kinda weird to see Kairi and Riku together. I always thought Sora would be with her.” Donald whispered to his partner. The Captain of the Royal Guards nodded and replied “Yeah. But, they chose to be with one another and we can’t interfere with that.” Goofy added in that he hopes that Sora finds a girl, Donald agreeing with him. King Mickey, who had arrived on the scene, interrupted his friends’ musings and the humans gazing at the horizon.   “Everyone, Yuffie and Aerith need for us to come to the Great Maw. They’re going to instruct you on new attack and defensive techniques.” the King informed them. The four said okay and started to follow the small ruler of Disney Castle out to the large area beneath them. As they left the Postern, Kairi stopped and looked at the horizon before her. “Sora… please be okay.” she whispered. She really felt bad about the entire thing, but there was little she could do to remedy the situation other then finding her friend. Sighing once again, she resumed following the others.   ~Back at the tower~   Sora was panting for breath, as was Ariel and Jasmine. They had fought long and hard, and only two Melders remained. But these new creatures were tougher and harder to deal with then anything they had encountered before. All three sustained high-level damage, and it was only thanks to Ariel’s Cure Potion that helped them stay alive. It turns out that Ariel’s special abilities were still intact, but her fighting style had changed. Her moves were fluid and graceful, but were more suited for the ground while Jasmine’s combat abilities were acrobatic and precise in the air. Still, Sora was impressed that they lasted this long and in their second time in battle.   “Ariel, I’m almost out of energy. Think you’re up for a team-up?” Sora asked his friend. The redhead smiled slightly and replied “You bet! We just need to do it right the first time. Won’t get a second chance if we miss.” The two stood together, and summoned up every last ounce of fight left in them. Sora took the young lady by the hand and both jumped into battle! Using one another as leverage of sorts, they pulled and exchanged places with one another while hitting the Melders with their Keyblades. It was like an intricate dance of sorts. After a few minutes of dancing around the enemy’s attacks and counterstriking, Sora yelled out “Big finish!” In a burst of speed, the two spin together like a top and slammed into the two dark creatures hard!   The Melders hit the wall hard, and vanished in a burst of black/silver smoke. Two hearts floated away and vanished in a matter of seconds. The duo stopped spinning, posing with their Keyblades close and backs to one another. “Wow! That was really impressive!” Jasmine exclaimed as she went over to them. The two smiled at her before going on their knees, panting for breath. “T-That was good, but it took a l-lot of our energy.” Sora said. Ariel was just glad that the fight was over. The young man slowly got back to his feet, helping Ariel up. “Well, we can’t stop now. We still have to make it to the top to see Yen Sid.” he stated. The girls groaned, and Sora couldn’t blame them. He was tired too, but they had to push on.   ~Forty five minutes later~   Sora and the girls finally made it to the top of the tower, exhausted and bruised. They had encountered the creatures multiple times on the way up, and had to expend an enormous amount of energy in defeating them. They were past their limits, but trudged on to see the sorcerer. “W-We’re here, g-girls.” he panted out. Ariel and Jasmine grinned weakly at him, surprised that they were still in one piece and that Sora lasted long as they had. “Finally! I hope this Yen Sid can get us back in shape.” Jasmine said. The male Keyblade bearer slowly opened the door and the three entered, seeing an old but powerful sorcerer sitting at a large desk. It seemed that he was waiting for them.   “I see you have come here, and have fought the new threat as of recently.” Yen Sid said as he waved his hand, closing the door behind them with his magic. Sora and the girls walked up to him, trying to show some posture but their fatigued showed. “Ah, but I see that you’re spent beyond your limits. Here you go.” The sorcerer held out his hand and a silver of blue magic escaped from it. It spread out towards the group, enveloping them in a blue mist. The trio let out a sigh of relief, feeling their energy coming back to them. In a matter of minutes, the mist vanished and they felt good as new.   “Thank you Yen Sid. Now, can you tell us on what is going on here?” Sora asked. The teacher of Mickey Mouse nodded his head sagely. He started his explanation, telling Sora on what happened to the worlds and who was behind it. “This is Adel, one of the most powerful sorceresses of all time. She has awakened in our world and was the cause of the shifting of time and space. She is also responsible for creating the beast you and Ariel fought in the sea, using her powers to meld both Heartless and Nobody together.” he stated. He waved his hand and from the ground erupted pictures of the creatures the trio fought on all the levels.   “These are called Melders, a creature that is the result of Shadow and Dusk fusing together. As you can see, Adel can control both Heartless and Nobody. These creatures are just one of many fusion creatures that you will encounter soon.” Yen Sid said. Jasmine asked on what Adel was looking for and the sorcerer answered “She is looking for the One Keyblade. It is the very first Keyblade ever created, forged with powers and abilities that are beyond Light and Darkness.” Ariel asked on where it could be, but the aged man shook his head negatively. He explained that this Keyblade was beyond his capacity, and the hero who once wielded it hid the object carefully to make sure that no one would find it and be seduced by its immense power.   “Sora, you will need to go forth and find the One Keyblade before Adel finds it. If she does, she will be invincible and no one would be able to stop her.” Yen Sid instructed. Sora said it would be done, the two ladies backing him up. Yen Sid was pleased, seeing that Sora’s spirit and heart were strong despite Kairi’s choice of choosing Riku over him. “Good. Now, I believe that you and your comrades will need the necessary garments for this mission. The Three Good Fairies are in the next room, awaiting for all of you.” The three thanked the wise man and went over to the door on the right side of the wall. The teacher of the King sat in his seat, confident that Sora and his new friends would be able to restore the worlds back to their original state.   Outside, peeking over the window ledge, was the Friendly Neighborhood Gullwings. Rikku squealed in delight and said “This is so great! Maybe we can help them with the wardrobe!” Yuna smiled and added “Yeah. It would be nice to help them out like last time.” Paine shook her head and retorted “Girls, remember why we are here. We’re supposed to keep an eye on them for Maleficent, not help them out.” Rikku said that they didn’t know that, and that she really wanted to help Sora. Yuna agreed with her energetic friend, adding in that Sora would need all the help he could get. Paine saw that she was outvoted, so she had to go along with them. The three flew from the windowsill and on towards the room the Three Good Fairies were at.   ~At Kingdom Hearts~   The sorceresses Adel was listening to the report of her latest crew, the most violent of all the villains… Negaduck. “Hey, I did what you said. I sent those freaks of nature out to get rid of those guys, but they just weren’t tough enough!” he yelled at the woman. The powerful magic-wielder sighed, making the tough duck shudder a bit in fear. “Then, I will just have to create more Fusionists in the future. In the meantime, continue your search for my prize key. Inform the rest of my command of the situation, and tell them to speed up the search.” she commanded calmly and coolly. The villain of St. Canard was nervous at the tone she used, but quickly hid it with his “tough guy” expression.   “Look lady, just make sure you hold up your end of the deal. I search for this key of yours, and you hand over St. Canard to me on a silver platter.” Negaduck retorted. He left before Adel could say anything. The woman sighed, feeling a slight headache coming on. “It is fools like him that make me like the art of manipulation.” she said to herself. Her plans were in motion; her influence was being spread out throughout various worlds. It would be only a matter of time until she would possess the ultimate weapon in existence. As an added bonus, she would find a suitable woman who would be her successor when the time came for her to go.   “Ah, the hearts of people… so complex, yet so simple to understand. Once I get the One Keyblade, I will be able to control the hearts of all!” she declared proudly.   ~At Radiant Gardens~   Kairi and the others were laying on the ground, panting heavily after their “workout” session with Yuffie and Aerith. Even Cloud and Leon joined in, pushing their abilities to the max. The young man was panting hard when a shudder coursed through her body. Riku sat up and held her close. “Kairi, what’s wrong?” he asked. The young girl replied that she did not know, but she felt that something bad was going to happen. Donald and Goofy got up and assured her that everything would be alright. Cloud and the two girls went to them, saying that it was time to train some more. “This is going to be our biggest battle yet. We need to be prepared.” Cloud stated. The training soon resumed again.   King Mickey was watching from the sidelines, Leon at his side. He turned to him and asked “Leon, do you think Sora is okay out there?” The wielder of the Gunblade looked up at the sky, gathering his thoughts at the moment. After a few seconds of silence, he answered “I believe he is. Sora may have been heartbroken, but he’s strong. He’s out there somewhere, alive and kicking.” After contemplating this for a few minutes, the two got up and joined the others in training. Things were going to heat up soon, and they needed to be at their best to combat this new evil.   (Author’s Notes: Hope this one was good. I cut this off at the end here so I can ask for you reader’s help. I need some design ideas to give to Sora, Ariel, and Jasmine.   Darien: This is going to be a new adventure, thus the need for new threads. The Good Fairies and the Gullwings are going to design and give the trio new threads and fusing powers, but we need some help.   DJ: So, if any of you are fashion artists or experts, let us know and we’ll put it to use! With knowledge that you all helped of course. Give credit where credit is due, after all.   R&R, no flames, enjoy, and leave long reviews!)
