Rumble in the Jungle Book

Sora and his two girl friends were zooming fast in space, still admiring their new threads but also trying to see which destination to choose. “Sora, which way should we go?” Jasmine asked. The male Keyblade wielder checked the star map on the computer screen and found a shimmering azure path that split it two ways. On the left was a world that had giant jungle vines, palm trees, and also an ancient rocky temple. On the right was another world, a city rich in purple and also having a bridge that was tall and ominous. However, that particular world was covered in a silver shield of energy. ‘That world must not be accessible yet. Guess there’s only one option.’ Sora thought. He turned to his comrades and said that they would be going to the jungle world.   Ariel was quite excited about this trip. So far, she had seen places that even put the human world where she lived to shame. She was bouncing slightly in her seat in excitement. “Oh, a real jungle! I hope its different then the ones under the sea!” she stated in anticipation. Her two friends chuckled at her glee and Sora steered a course towards the world. “So far, so good. No sealed paths to have to go through, and also no enemy ships to fight.” he commented.  As they got closer to the world, Jasmine inquired on how they were going to blend in.   “Just like when I was in Ariel’s world, I had to change to adapt to both the environment and the merpeople that were there. I guess that for this world, we have to be animals.” Sora answered. The prospect was very exciting for the two princesses, especially Ariel. As they neared the world’s atmosphere, the ship slowed down and soon came to a halt. Sora and his female companions got up from their seats and walked out from the cockpit to go to the Teleporter. Upon arriving and standing in a large bluish-white circle, Sora prepared to use his magical reserves to change both him and the girls. ‘Donald was the expert at this. I managed to turn myself into something last time, but that was just me. I hope I have enough for all of us.’ he thought.   Before he could let loose his magical abilities, the teleporter came on and in a flash of light, they were gone.   ~Back at Radiant Gardens~   The sun was rising up for the nearly complete world, its golden rays warming anything it touched and delivering a wake-up call to the citizens. Riku and Kairi were already awake, along with the rest of the crew, and were staring at a sleek and big Gummi that was inside the castle. It was similar to the Invincible Lv.3 model, but the sides were less bulkier and the cockpit was enlarged more so there could be room for some extra guests. It had the abilities of its counterpart, but sadly only standard weapons. Tron and Cid decided that their first mission was to get Sora and return back, so they opted for speed and stealth rather then power. The color of the Gummi Ship was dark green, one that would blend in nicely with the inkiness of space.   “Well, she doesn’t look like much, but trust me. This baby’s speed is equal or less to the Falcon Peak! She’ll get you to where you want to go fast!” Cid stated proudly. Everyone approved of the creation, but King Mickey turned to the group and announced something important. “Guys, I won’t be able to go with you to search for Sora.” he stated. This was a bit of a surprise for everyone to hear. King Mickey explained that he was going to search for some allies that would help them in the fight against Adel, not to mention searching for any other clues of her origins and exploits. “Okay your Majesty, you do that. We’ll find Sora and bring him back, then we can help you in your quest.” Donald said. The duck and the goofy dog were loyal to the king and would do anything to aid him.   “Thanks you guys. Now Riku, Kairi. You two be careful and on guard.” Mickey told the two. The humans nodded and held their weapons tightly. “Don’t worry, Mickey. We’ll find Sora and bring him back. I know he wouldn’t say no to us.” Kairi said. After saying their goodbyes to one another, the four warriors climbed aboard the ship. Riku got into the control seat, Kairi sitting shotgun. Goofy and Donald sat behind the two, buckling in just in case. “Okay, here we go.” Riku said as he flipped some switches and grabbed the wheel. The engines came to life and the ship started to slowly get off the ground! However, the excitement was short-lived for Donald and Goofy who remembered something. ‘Wait a minute! Riku doesn’t know how to drive!’ he thought. It was true, in a way. Riku had been using portals rather then ships to travel through worlds. So… this was his first time driving.   “Hey, hold on!” Donald exclaimed as he tried to unbuckle himself from his seat. Unfortunately, he was panicking and thus could not grasp the belt properly to unlock it. He managed to get it off, but Riku pushed the wheel forward and the ship zoomed off at sonic-speed out of the castle and to the sky! “AAAAAHHHH!!!” the mage duck screamed before becoming one with the wall and being flat as a pancake. “YAAAAHOOOO!!!” Goofy exclaimed as they shot out towards space. On the ground, Merlin and the others were wondering if they could complete their mission. After a few minutes of watching the ship quickly become a star in the sky, Leon shook his head and looked at the others.   “Come on, we got to finish making the changes to the town.” the Gunblade wielder stated. The group agreed and went about the task of completing their home. After breakfast of course, which Yuffie reminded them.   Back at Gullwings hideout, the witch and her flunky were regaining their strength. Pete was back up to full power, but his mistress was still healing and thus he had been guarding the place. “Doh, where are those flying pixies?! It can’t take this long just to spy on that brat!” Pete whined. Maleficent was about to order him to stop complaining when Gullwings appeared in a flash of light! It was right in front of Pete at close range, and the soldier of Darkness yet out a yelp and fell on his butt in a comedic way. “Maleficent, we’re back! And boy do we have a report to give you!” Rikku exclaimed. The witch got into a sit-up position on the makeshift and ordered them to give her the report.   “That kid Sora… he’s got new allies this time. He’s not with the King’s guards.” Paine started out. Few words as always, and to the point. Yuna added in “They’re princesses from other worlds! One of them was Jasmine, one of the Princesses of Heart. They actually left their worlds to go with him.” Rikku finished it off by exclaiming “And get this, they have Keyblades too!” Maleficent was indeed surprised and puzzled by this set of news. According to what she read some time ago in the castle at Hallow Bastion (before it changed), Keyblades chose their owners and it was extremely rare, bordering on impossible, to have three wielders of the power.   “Hmmm… interesting. Did anything else happen I should know about?” the sorceress inquired. The Gullwings told her about Yen Sid, their dealings with the Good Fairies, and also on what they gave to Sora and the princesses. When they got to the part about Adel and her plans, Maleficent was not too happy. ‘How dare she! First she takes Kingdom Hearts from me, and now she wants the world! I will find a way to stop her!’ she declared in her mind. The villianess ordered the Gullwings to keep an eye on Sora, to aid him if they can. The three tiny girls were confused by the order, but shrugged their shoulders and said “Okay” before vanishing.   She turned to her subordinate and commanded “Pete! Go to these new worlds and start collecting as many Heartless as possible! I want an army ready by the time I am back at full strength!” Pete was stammering “B-B-But why? Even if I did gather as many as a thousand, they wouldn’t be a match against Adel!” Maleficent sneered at him and told the big lug her plan. While he would be gathering an army, Sora and his two new friends would be whittling away at Adel’s forces. “When the time is right… when Sora and Adel are weakened considerably… I will step in and crush them in one blow! Kingdom Hearts will be mine once again, and soon after the rest of the universe! Hahahahaha!!” Maleficent declared evilly before laughing in her usual fashion.   ~In the Jungle Book~   The jungle was in a peaceful state, a river cutting through the land at a peaceful, steady pace. Lush flora and fauna were abound, and creatures of all sorts were roaming about. Coming through the tall grass, however, were three creatures that were very unusual from the rest. One was a parrot of sort, but not the kind like Iago. It had bright red feathers that ran down its head like a waterfall, tail feathers long and displaying many different colors. It looked to be healthy and strong, but there was something different about it. It petit but strong beak and it had human eyes that were as blue as the river. It was Ariel!   She tested her new wings, gaining some airtime before coming back down. “Amazing! This is so great!” she commented. It was much different then swimming and walking, it was like a mix of the two in some ways. She turned to the brush and called out “Come on, let’s go explore!”. From the grass came a tall, sleek panther that had fur that was as black as coal. It had fluid muscles that were taunt and full of power, but moved gracefully and calmly. It had a slightly resemblance to a human face, and it had deep chocolate-colored eyes. It was Jasmine! The princesses-turned-big cat was trying out her new form, checking her legs and making sure that she was doing alright.   “So, this is what big cats feel like! I can understand how Rajah feels now whenever he walks around the palace grounds.” Jasmine said in a gleeful tone. She felt strong, confident, and powerful. The girls were trying out their new forms when another came out before them. It was a orangutan, a bit on the paunch side but looking fit as one could be. It had medium-brown fur, long lanky hands, and short but strong legs. It had blue eyes, a keychain around its neck, and a slightly human face. It was Sora! He felt kinda odd and off about his new form. He moved about and found that he was a bit off balance.   “Whoa! Watch out!” he called out as he swayed from side to side. His new legs were not the best for walking or running, but he stretched his arms out to try and regain some balance. Alas, it was too late and he tumbled on his friends. A loud “crash” was heard and the three were now in one big heap. “Hehehehe. I see you three have a bit of trouble there.” a voice called out. The three newcomers looked to their left to see a large panther, slightly larger then Jasmine and having yellow eyes. He, by the sound of his voice, was lounging in a nearby tree and happened to see the group.   “Excuse me, but who are you?” Ariel asked. The panther gracefully leapt out and down the tree, walking towards them. “My name is Bagheera. And it seems that you are new here to this part of the jungle.” he answered back. The three untangled themselves and introduced themselves to the native one. “Tell us, where are we?” Sora asked. Bagheera was about to answer when he heard a howl coming from a distance. He turned to his newcomers and apologized for not answering him, but there something important came up and he needed to be where that howl came from. “Can we come too?” Jasmine asked.   Bagheera was a cautious individual, wise as well. However, he felt that he could trust the new animals. He nodded and answered “I see no harm. Just try and keep up with me.” Without another word, he bounded off towards the east. Ariel flew up in the air, getting used to her wings quickly. “Come on, let’s go!” she exclaimed. Jasmine and Sora agreed with her and started to take off after the wise panther. Ariel was loving her new form and its abilities, soaring through the sky and feeling the wind rushing at her face. To her, it was a new form of swimming but with an excitement and fulfillment that just overloaded her heart in joy. Jasmine was enjoying her new form immensely, running fluidly and gracefully but having power and confidence to make sure not to crash into anything at high-speed. It was a rush for her, more so then even being on Carpet.   However, Sora was not enjoying his form like the others. His short legs were simply not made for running, and after taking a few falls flat on his face, he found out he can gain more balance and speed by using his hands. Using his long hands like legs, he started to get a more positive feel for his form and started to gain some ground with the others. ‘Not the most dignified or graceful form I got, but it’ll have to do.’ he thought. As he ran to catch up with the rest, he failed to notice a faint shadow that was hiding in the trees. It had a single red light source, kind of like an eye, that was monitoring him. It vanished by going into the tree, but it made a whirling sound that was just not animal.   ~In space~   Riku and Kairi were flying out in hyperspace, thanks to a special Gummi part that Tron installed. Since Radiant Gardens was transferred to another plane of space, they had to go through a dimensional tunnel of sorts in order to find Sora. There were many dimensions to search in, but Cid had the smarts to install a Gummi Ship Locator. Since the Falcon Peak was the only other Gummi Ship in existence right now, all Riku and the others had to do was hone in on the signal. “Hey Riku, how long have we’ve been flying?” Donald asked. The silver-haired teen sighed and answered “We’ve been flying for two hours now. It’ll be awhile until we get a signal.” Goofy was about to say something when a beeping sound came from the control console. “Hey, the locator thing is beeping!” he exclaimed happily.   Kairi pushed some buttons and the monitor changed to a star map. “This is the place Riku! Stop!” she called out. The teen pushed a red button and the ship cleared out from the hyperspace tunnel. The crew were now looking at new worlds that were floating in space, and what caught their eye was a nearby world that had a splendid structure that was similar to Disney Castle. “Do you think Sora could be in that world?” Donald asked. Kairi checked the monitor and saw that the beeping was faint and weak. “No, I don’t think so. The signal isn’t coming from here.” she answered. Riku gave it some thought, then called out that they were going to land there.   “The ship needs to recharge its engines. We’ve been flying for two hours straight and in a hyperspace tunnel, so its pretty overheated.” he told them. When Goofy asked on how he knew, Riku simply pointed to the gauges that were near him. In blinking red lights, the words ENGINE OVERHEATING was shown. “Well, we can land there to let the engines cool down and also dig up some clues on either Adel’s forces or Sora’s whereabouts.” Kairi suggested. The three males agreed with her plan and the ship started to descend downwards. However, they were not alone. Behind them, hidden by a cloaking device, was a small spherical orb with a single red, glowing eye. It was transmitting what it saw to another party… one in Kingdom Hearts.   ~At Kingdom Hearts~   Adel was watching the events by her own means, not relying on the technology that Syndrome used. “Hmmm… the young ones are increasing in power and abilities slightly as they go along. The girls’ forms are well-suited to their personality, but the boy’s… why was it that form was chosen?” she said to herself. One of the lackeys, Syndrome entered the room. “Adel, listen! I got a reading telling me that someone else has come through to this dimension!” he exclaimed. The powerful sorceress simply “hmm’d” and turned her attention to the black-and-white suited man. “Tell me, are these outsiders related to Sora?” she inquired. The now-nervous young man answered that it was possible, the ship the same material of Sora’s vessel.   “Hmmm… continue to monitor these outsiders. Inform the rest as well. If they are here to interfere in my plans, take care of them.” Adel ordered her subordinate. Syndrome nodded his head before fleeing from the room. The witch turned her attention back to the trio that was now at a rocky cliff with the native panther and now a wolf. “My possible apprentices… hero of Light… let us see how formidable you are.” the witch declared softly before using her powers to summon twenty Melders (fusion of Nobodies and Heartless) and send them on their way to the jungle. However, after doing so, she felt the raw killing intent that was radiating from said jungle.   ‘Another hand for me to use.’ she thought before changing the view to see on who or what was sending out the intent. She was now looking at large, powerful, and dangerous creature. A tiger.   (Author’s Notes: Sorry for the short chapter, but best I can do so far. In any case, hope you all are not disappointed.   Darien: Sora and his girl friends are animals, and cool ones at that. So, what do you think their other forms should be when they enter new worlds? Should Kairi and the others do the same?   DJ: Thanks to Sword and Dragon Master who has helped us immensely with this story. He’s the man!   R&R, no flames, enjoy, and leave long reviews!)
