Kingdom Hearts: Supreme Adventure By: DJ Rodriguez   (Author’s Notes: I’m very sorry for the long delay. Been a bit of a lazy ass. Well, hopefully I will get my energy back soon. I just like to lazy around most of the time.   Darien: In this chapter, Sora and company face off against Kaa the Python. Also, Riku and his team learn something interesting from Cinderella. Finally, Adel is going to acquire the most fearsome of all animals in the Jungle Book. Not bad, eh?   DJ: Also, we like to thank Dalton for his suggestion. We’re going to add a new Limit and World thanks to him! So you can put down Vivi, Dalton.   Now, on with the fanfic!)

Sora/Jasmine/Ariel vs. Kaa the Python

It was nighttime, the jungle now bathed in the light of the large blue moon in the sky. The stars were shining bright as well, providing just enough light for anyone, be they human or animal, to see. On the ground, Bagheera was taking front after exiting from a clearing. Behind him was a sleepy Mowgli, and following him were Sora, Ariel, and Jasmine. At first, the man-cub was surprised and curious about Bagheera’s new acquaintances, but took it well as he was being led out of the jungle.   Mowgli yawned and asked “Bagheera, I’m getting a little sleepy. Shouldn’t we go back?”   Bagheera turned and smiled a little at the human boy. He answered “No Mowgli. This time… we’re not turning back. I’m taking you to the Man-Village.” The old panther turned and continued onward, not paying attention to Mowgli’s look of total surprise on his face. Apparently, he wasn’t expecting to hear that.   “Man-Village?! But why are we going there?” Mowgli asked.   Sora answered “Because a tiger named Shere Khan has returned to the jungle. And he has sworn to kill you.” Mowgli was shocked to hear this, and asked on why Khan would do such a thing. Ariel replied that he hated Man, Bagheera adding in that Shere Khan did not really need to have a reason to kill him.   The panther stated “He fears Man’s gun and Man’s fire, and thinks that one day you’ll use that against him.” Mowgli just smiled and shrugged, saying that he would gladly explain to Shere Khan that he never do a thing like that to him. Sora and his girl friends were a bit surprised by Mowgli’s naïve nature. Bagheera sharply retorted that nobody says anything like to Shere Khan, saying it was nonsense.   Mowgli was going to say something else, but Bagheera stopped him. “That’s enough. Now, we’ll turn in for the night. Things will look better in the morning.” The Man-Cub looked depressed, so Jasmine tried to cheer him up. She said to not worry about the situation so much, saying that things will turn out all right soon. Sora and Ariel agreed with her, but Mowgli didn’t seem to cheer up at all.   “But, I don’t wanna go to the Man-Village…” he whispered out. Bagheera ignored his plea and told him to climb a tall tree that he spotted. It would be perfect to sleep there, high from any predators on the ground. When Mowgli tried to climb up, and sliding back down with each try, Sora and his friends couldn’t help but chuckle. He complained that it was too big and round, and that he didn’t have any claws to cling better to the tree trunk.   “Hehehe… this is a funny sight.” Ariel chuckled. Bagheera had to help him up, but he yowled when Mowgli slipped and hung onto the fur on his back. Sora easily climbed up the tree, grabbing Mowgli by the red shorts and pulling him up on the branch. Jasmine easily leaped and climbed up, along with Bagheera, while Ariel flew to the branch.   Bagheera settled down and looked down to gauge the distance from where they were to the ground. “Now, let’s get some sleep. We got a long day ahead of us.” Mowgli shook his head, saying that he wanted to stay in the jungle. The black panther let out a small laugh and replied that he wouldn’t last one day in the jungle alone.   Sora let out a yawn and said “We better get some sleep too. It’s been a long day, and I’m beat.” Ariel and Jasmine agreed with him, settling down in their own unique way to nap in the tree. Mowgli wanted to protest more, but the trip was long and he too was weary. He settled into one of the crooks in the tree, being away from the group yet still close enough should something happened. He yawned, closed his eyes, and drifted off to sleep.   Little did they know that something was watching them from the foliage. It had large, hypnotic eyes and a body that was certainly long and strong. It hissed and chuckled, seeing new prey for him to devour and eat.   ~Back in Cinderella’s world~   Riku and Kairi were awake, pretending to go to sleep to fool the innkeeper that came by to check on them. “Okay, its time to see Cinderella and find out whatever we can.” Riku whispered. Kairi nodded and went out to wake up Donald and Goofy. Her boyfriend leapt out a window and landed stealthfully on the cobbled street. He waited outside the door to the inn for five minutes, then saw it open to reveal Donald, Goofy, and Kairi.   “Sorry it took so long. They almost woke up the entire place, had to calm them down some.” Kairi explained. Riku said it was okay, and the four made their way down the street towards the castle. The silver-haired teen took out his sword, and Kairi took out her crossbow. They were going to knock out, not kill, others that spotted them such as the guards. After twenty minutes of sneaking in the shadows, the group made it to the entrance to the castle grounds.   “Gwarsh! There sure are a lot of guards here, and the wall is so high!” Goofy commented, but was prevented from saying anything else by Donald covering his mouth with his hand. Kairi fired a bolt of energy upward, where it burst and distracted the guards enough to see what was going on. Riku actually leapt onto the high wall, and on the top lowered a rope to let the others climb.   Donald said “You have to admit, he’s pretty good. Sora would have tried to either blow a hole in the wall or look for one.” Goofy thought it was not nice to compare Sora to Riku, but held his tongue. Once the group was over the wall, they started to go to the castle. Passing the many guards that were stationed throughout the property was not an easy task, but they did it. Of course, Goofy and Riku had to knock out some of the soldiers in order to pass.   The group found their way to the Grand Meeting Hall, the place where most royal parties and meetings took place. It was indeed grand and massive, with a balcony nearby that stood out in front of the royal garden. It was the place where Cinderella first met and danced with the Prince for the first time at the ball.   “Okay, now we need to…” Kairi was saying when she stopped. The two looked in the direction she was looking at, and saw that going to them was a surprised princess. It was Cinderella! The blonde beauty was surprised to see the four, arriving in the hall to see what she could do to prepare for another royal gala. But, it would seem that her plans would have to be postponed for a bit.   “Donald? Goofy? Is that you?” she asked. She did not recognize Riku nor Kairi, but she did remember King Mickey’s loyal subjects due to them being with Sora when he first rescued her. The duck and dog were glad to see Cinderella, and it was shown when she went over to hug them and they hugged back.   “Cinderella! So good to see you again!” Goofy exclaimed happily. Donald said likewise, and the beautiful Princess of Heart replied that she was glad to see them too. But was curious on why they were here in the palace, and also why Sora wasn’t with them. Kairi had to look down a little at that question, still not completely over the fact that Sora was not with them due to her and Riku’s decision.   “Sora isn’t here. That’s one of the reasons we came here.” Riku explained. Cinderella felt that something was wrong when he said that, and took them over to a table with some chairs in place. Once they were seated, she requested that all of them explain everything.   ~In Kingdom Hearts~   Judge Doom and Seymour Guado were looking over the records and data books that held the history of Sora and his two new partners. Judge Doom, though a toon in disguise, had his analytical mind take charge and knew that underestimating the heroes/heroines in any way would result in loss and disaster. Seymour was the same, but he felt that the connection with Sora and the Keyblade ran deeper then most people realized.   “This Sora boy… he is an interesting subject. According to what I found, the Keyblade chose Riku first but when his heart turned to the darkness, it went to Sora. But at Hallow Bastion, Riku was able to call it back. But when his heart faltered, it went back to Sora. Interesting.” Seymour stated coolly.   “Yes, interesting indeed. And from what we read in that buffoon’s Syndrome’s report from his spy contraptions, Riku no longer has access to the Keyblade. This is very unusual, since the Keyblade chose him in the past and now he no longer can summon it.” Doom replied. He was about to say more, when the door to the Archives they were in burst open and in came the evil Queen.   “Come with me, you two. Adel has found a clue to the One Keyblade, and she needs us to check into it.” she declared before leaving. The two villains wanted to do more research, but knew that delaying ANY order from Adel would be a risk to their very health and being. Sighing, the two put down their books and papers, following after the Queen.   ‘Somehow, someway… this One Keyblade maybe connected to Sora. That boy is already connected to many people he has come into contact with, but with this weapon… is it possible he could have a deeper connection to it?’ Seymour thought as he went down the corridor with his two comrades. Something was nagging at the maester from Spira, and it would not leave him no matter how hard he tried.   ~In the Jungle Book~   Everyone was asleep in the tree… everyone, except Mowgli. The young man-cub simply could not sleep for very long. He had some nightmares on him leaving the jungle, going into the Man-Village, and then being changed into a Man that would make him hunt and hurt the very animals he had come to know and love. He failed to see a large coil wrapping around his waist, and when he finally did feel it, he turned up to look into the eyes of a large snake.   “Well now, what have we hear? Hehehe… it’s a man-cub. A delicious, looking man-cub.” the snake hissed in a silky yet comical at the same time tone. Mowgli was a little freaked out about it, but showed it as annoyance rather then fear. He pushed the snake away and told him to leave him alone. That stirred the others, especially the sleeping Bagheera who was closer to Mowgli then any of them.   “Oh, yes that’s just what I should do, but I’m not. Now, please go to sleep man-cub.” Bagheera pleaded though he was still asleep when he said it. The snake, known as Kaa, smiled and nodded his head. He approached Mowgli, only this time with a new tactic in mind. Leveling his head so that he was eye-to-eye with the human, he started to change his eye color rthymically, hypnotically. His eyes cycled through light blue, green, and yellow.   “Yes, man-cub. Please… go to sleep… please… go to sleep…” he started to say over and over again in a suggestive, hypnotic tone. Mowgli was entranced by his eyes, and did not even resist as Kaa slowly wrapped his powerful body around his torso.   “Bagheera…” Mowgli choked out before being put in both Kaa’s hypnotic powers, and his large coils. Bagheera only yawned and said that they would talk in the morning, pleading with him to go back to sleep. However, Jasmine opened one of her eyes sleepily and saw Kaa with his dinner. Now that got her attention greatly.   “Everyone, wake up!” she yelled out as she got quickly on all fours. Sora and Ariel woke up quick, a bit groggy though. Bagheera also woke up, but Kaa’s tail whipped out from the foliage above and knocked the old panther out of the tree and on the ground. The big cat yowled, but when his head landed on the hard ground, he gave off a dopey grin before slumping off to la-la land.   “Hey, who are you?!” Sora exclaimed as he summoned his Keyblade to his ape-like hands. Ariel summoned her Keyblade and held it in her talons, Jasmine doing the same and holding hers by the tail. Kaa was both intrigued by this display of unusual power, but knew that he was outnumbered.   “The name is Kaa, dear ape. As for you and your companions, you will soon be with this man-cub… in my stomach!” Kaa declared before going to the foliage with his prey. Ariel and Jasmine took flight into the treetop, but Jasmine warned them that since Kaa’s markings were dark, it was nighttime, and they were battling in a thick treetop, they would be at a considerable disadvantage.   “Thanks Jasmine! We’ll keep that in mind, but we got to save Mowgli!” Sora exclaimed before going into the foliage. Jasmine and Ariel let off a sigh, and followed him into the thick leaves and branches. The group was now surrounded by perpetual darkness, only silver light from the moon shining through. Looking everywhere, they could not see their quarry. However, Ariel looked to her right to find herself in the glare of Kaa’s hypnotic eyes.   “Look away! Don’t fall in!” Jasmine yelled as she closed her eyes and took a swipe at Kaa with her tail. Her Three Wishes Keyblade smacked the python in the head, knocking him back into the green leaves. Sora shook Ariel, who soon came back to her senses.   “Careful! This snake is tricky!” Sora called out as he tried to look for Kaa. He did manage to spot Mowgli who was up a ways from where Kaa was struck back into the tree. He used his arms and built-in agility to climb up and smack away at the coils a few times with his Keyblade. The pain would be too much for Kaa and he would pull back, Mowgli and him disappearing into the tree once again.   “This… is really going to be a long night.” Sora mumbled as he set himself in a defensive stance. Jasmine and Ariel were back-to-back with him, as it were. Indeed, this was going to be a long night for the trio.   ~At Radiant Gardens~   Maleficent was now back on her feet, having regained enough of her strength. ‘The Gullwings hideout is pitiful at first glance, but it suits its purpose for hiding me from my enemies.’ she thought as she walked around a little. As soon as she reached the door, she encountered a Heartless Shadow. In its claws it held a note.   “Hmmm? What is this?” she inquired as she took the note from the Heartless, which vanished after the parchment was taken from it. Maleficent read the piece of paper, her eyes widening a bit on what she read:   Maleficent,   It’s me, Pete! Hiya! Listen, I’m here in this world called France see. And this guy in red, they call him Cardinal or something like that. The people there say that he’s been consorting with “black devils” and such, which got me thinking that he has command of the Heartless there!   In any case, I managed to get some of the Heartless that were there. Also, it seems that this guy is in a church or something and has a lot of guards dressed in fancy red clothes at his command. But the weird thing is that this guy is looking in libraries and stuff for something called the “One Keyblade”. Sounds pretty important!   I’m going to more worlds to get more Heartless. But… I still think we’re going to need more then just Heartless to beat Adel.

Pete

Maleficent was now curious on Pete’s discovery. “Interesting. ‘One Keyblade’, he said? Since when does a holy man use Heartless, and also rummaging around to find a weapon like that? This needs more looking into.” she said to herself. She soon received another letter, this time by a tiny mechanical yellow bird called a Chocobo. It was from the Gullwings, and the evil witch took the note on its back.   “Hmmm… it seems that Sora and his little friends are in some trouble in the world they are in. Oh well, matters not to me. If they come out okay, fine. If not, so be it. Now, to see what other move I need to make in order to regain my lost kingdom.” she muttered as she started to plan long into the night.   (Author’s Notes: I hope this satisfies most of you. Also, Dalton, your idea will come to pass. If any of you out there like some suggestions or hints, let me know. Always ready for more!   Darien: In the next chapter, Adel receives her new “pet” from the Jungle Book and also Sora and Co. meet for the first time the loveable bear known as Baloo!   R&R, no flames, enjoy, and leave long reviews!)
