Sama unleashes a nuke as he escapes. with Zero gravely injured, X, Laser Alloy and Amber try to stop the nuke while getting Zero medical help.

The Nuke was less than 3 hrs away from hitting its target. A crisis
 
was at hand. Zero was severely injured. What are we gonna do
 
asked X panicking. We got no choice X, we're gonna have to do two
 
things at once; save the country and get Zero medical help replied
 
Laser Alloy. That's gonna be next to impossible replied Amber. We
 
have to do it! Let's go Hunters ordered Laser Alloy. The Hunters
 
ran back to the jet, only to find it destroyed. What the? Grr! Sama's
 
goons did this! But how said Laser Alloy enraged. This is just great!
 
The nuke is less than 2 hrs and a half from detonation. Now what
 
asked X. we're gonna have find an air strip and “borrow” a jet
 
replied Laser Alloy. I hate to do things unethically, but I guess we
 
have no choice in this case said X. 20 minutes later, they found an
 
air strip. Excuse me, we need a jet immediately! One of our
 
comrades is severely injured shouted X. yeah right, we can`t do
 
that, I'm not authorized to let people or reploids borrow our jets
 
replied the air strip worker. Look, it's an emergency! We have to get
 
him some help and also stop that nuke from hitting the States, if
 
you don't let us borrow a jet, we'll take it by force replied Laser
 
Alloy. Is that so? You realize taking a jet without governmental
 
clearance is a felony? I don't give a rip about felonies and
 
regulations! We have a crisis on our hands! Now, give us the jet or
 
else threatened Laser Alloy. Ok that's it! I'm reporting you to…
 
hold on, don't be so hasty, and give them a jet. After all, they have
 
an emergency interrupted a commander. Thanks, let's go said Laser
 
Alloy running. As the other Hunters followed, X got a strange
 
feeling inside. Is something wrong X asked Amber. There's
 
something not right about this. I didn't like his tone of voice. What
 
if we're being set up asked X. hmm, maybe, don't worry, I'll blast
 
anyone who tries to interfere with our operation replied Laser
 
Alloy. X and Amber carried Zero on a stretcher who was barely
 
hanging on for dear life. Laser Alloy engaged the engines. Ok, let's
 
go, we're gonna have to go warp speed to catch up to that nuke and
 
destroy it. The jet reached full throttle and accelerated into the sky.
 
Here we go Hunters, we got a nuke to destroy shouted X. 1 hr later,
 
the Hunters were 25 minutes behind the nuke. Great, can't this
 
thing go any faster asked X. I'm going as fast as I can, I can't push
 
the turbo too much or I'll overheat the engine replied Laser Alloy.
 
Oh great, how are we gonna stop it in time asked X frustrated.
 
Don't worry, according to my calculations, we'll catch up to it with
 
just 5 minutes to go. Once we do, I'm gonna redirect its course into
 
the sky and cause it to blow up in space, out of harm's way replied
 
Laser Alloy. Sounds good, but, I have a bad feeling, something
 
wasn't right about that commander at the air strip. His voice was
 
very cocky and arrogant. Alloy, I think we're being set up said X.
 
but how, I mean, this jet has radar, if any enemies try to sneak up
 
from behind, I'll blast em replied Laser Alloy. True, but I have this
 
feeling they're not gonna attack by jet, I don't know, got a sick
 
feeling in my circuits said X. relax, like I said, if anyone tries to
 
stop us, they're gonna regret it, I have enough weapons on me to
 
knock em out, trust me X, I know what I'm doing, I've been on
 
many mission before replied Laser Alloy. Very well, I'm gonna go
 
check on Zero, be back in a lil said X. As X went to the back to
 
check on Zero and Amber, he got a sinking feeling in the room, but
 
couldn't put his finger on it. X, there you are. Are we on schedule
 
asked Amber. Yea, Laser Alloy says we'll be able to redirect its
 
course before impact. How's Zero? He's hanging on, but if we don't
 
get him help soon, he's gonna die replied Amber. X bent down to
 
look at his friend, with sadness in his eyes, he turned away. X, are
 
you ok? Sama is gonna pay for this, he injured Axl and then
 
reprogrammed him, which we have no idea where he is and now
 
he severely injures Zero. His reign of terror is gonna end soon, I
 
swear it! I know X, don't worry about it. You and Laser Alloy will
 
finish off Sama sooner than you think. I believe in both of you.
 
Thanks Amber, I'm gonna go back and help Laser Alloy in the
 
cockpit. You stay here and update us about Zero. Don't worry, I'll
 
let you know. As X went back to the cockpit, he found a huge
 
surprise. What the? The door's locked! It's a setup! You better
 
believe it is you pesky Maverick Hunters! Now we're gonna take
 
you out once and for all said a mysterious voice. Who are you
 
Maverick Scum demanded Amber. You'll find out soon enough,
 
and don't think it'll be like last time, Sama has upgraded us to far
 
surpass your power and strength replied another mysterious
 
Maverick. X readied his blaster, show yourself or I'll turn you both
 
into scrap! Oh please, don't make us laugh, you pea shooter is
 
ineffective against us now. You're in for a world of hurt X, there's
 
no way we're gonna let you stop the nuke from destroying the
 
States. We will sacrifice our very lives if necessary replied the first
 
Maverick. X fired his blaster at the Maverick, but to his great
 
surprise and dismay, no damage was done. The Maverick laughed
 
evilly back at him. I told you X! You can't stop us! Now, why don't
 
you make it easy on yourselves and surrender? Never, shouted X as
 
he fully charged his blaster, firing again, this time knocking him
 
on the ground. Ow! So, you have some firepower after all! But it's
 
not enough! Now behold the power of my blaster! The Maverick
 
fired his blaster at X. X tried to dodge it, but the range was too great
 
to avoid. X suffered some serious damage. You're pathetic X! you
 
always have been! You should never have been a Maverick Hunter!
 
And now I'm gonna finish you off! The Maverick charged his
 
blaster, but moments before he fired, a blast hit him. What the?
 
YOU! YOU'RE NOT GONNA INTERERFERE WITH OUR PLANS!
 
Oh shut up and be destroyed shouted Laser Alloy firing again,
 
knocking him back senseless. Why you good for nothing… all right
 
Maverick Scum! Show yourselves ordered Laser. The Mavericks
 
stepped out of the shadows. And to everyone's great surprise, it
 
was X's enemies of old, Vile and High Max. Sizzling circuits! Sama
 
rebuilt and reprogrammed my old enemies shouted X. you got that
 
right, now its time to blast you both shouted Vile. Don't bet on it
 
bub shouted Laser Alloy. Both traded shots with each missing their
 
targets. Vile then fired a big blast at Laser Alloy, only to miss his
 
target do to Alloy's very quick agility. Laser Alloy then fired a
 
counter shot, hitting him directly in the chest, knocking him back
 
on the ground. Meanwhile, X was battling High Max. You're no
 
match for me X! Give it up and save yourself the pain. Never say
 
never Maverick Scum, replied X firing his blaster. High Max
 
avoided it, firing back with his spheres. X jumped over it, charged
 
his blaster and hit High Max, causing major damage. Hey, mind if I
 
borrow this? X then copied High Max's weapon. NO! Why you! X
 
then fired High Max's weapon back at him, causing a lot of
 
damage. Nice job X, pretty sweet you being able to copy his
 
weapon said Laser Alloy. Yep, compliments of Dr. Light replied X
 
victoriously. You Hunters think you've won this battle? Guess
 
again shouted Vile. High Max and Vile surrounded Zero with Vile
 
pointing his cannon at him. Let him go demanded Amber. Shut up
 
puny Hunter shouted High Max throwing her across the room.
 
Amber! Why you lowdown scum bots Laser Alloy pointed his
 
blaster at them. I wouldn't do that if I were you warned Vile. Oh
 
yeah, and why not demanded Laser Alloy. Because if you dare
 
shoot, we're gonna finish off your friend Zero here replied High
 
Max. Zero! You wouldn't dare shouted X. oh really? Watch! Vile
 
fired his cannon at Zero's foot, causing some injury. Stop it shouted
 
X. that will be up to you now won't it? Now drop your weapons
 
ordered Vile. All right fine, don't hurt him anymore pleaded X.
 
Laser Alloy and X returned to their arm hands. I thought you
 
would back off, now, we're not gonna let you stop this nuke. In
 
fact, we're gonna put an end to this little rescue mission right here
 
and now. High Max, get the rocket packs ordered Vile. No problem
 
replied High Max. Once they strapped them on, Vile said, and now
 
its time to say ta ta Hunters! Vile used his cannon to blast the right
 
wing and engine. No! Our jet shouted X. Vile and High Max then
 
jumped out laughing evilly. The jet began to immediately lose
 
altitude. What are we gonna do now asked X. I've got to land this
 
jet safely on the ground replied Laser Alloy. But how? We're over
 
an ocean replied X. relax, we're less than 5 miles from land. I know
 
of a field nearby. What can I do ask X. go to the back and keep an
 
eye on Zero's condition? Don't worry bout me, I'll guide this jet
 
safely replied Laser Alloy. X ran to the back and checked on Zero
 
and Amber. How is he asked X. Zero's still hanging on? The foot
 
injury is only cosmetic. He'll live, if we can make it on the ground
 
in one piece replied Amber. Is Laser Alloy really a great pilot asked
 
X. oh yes, one of the best, Dr. Green implanted a super smart brain
 
into him replied Amber. Well, I hope so; we're bout to fly over land
 
said X. 5 minutes later, Laser Alloy shouted to X, we're losing
 
altitude even more, there's a small field where we can land, but its
 
gonna get bumpy, brace yourselves! Laser Alloy unleashed the
 
landing gear, and cut off engine power. The jet thudded against the
 
grass, the other 3 held each other close to brace for impact. 2
 
minutes later, it finally came to a stop. Are you guys ok asked Laser
 
Alloy. Yeah, we're fine, Zero's ok too replied X. great, now what?
 
That nuke is only 30 minutes from its target said Amber. I'm gonna
 
have to stop it myself replied Laser Alloy. But how? We don't have
 
any transportation said X. but I do replied Laser activating his
 
stealth wing jet pack. Whoa! You have that built into you? You are
 
quite the robot. Normally, I'd be jealous, but I guess this is no time
 
to get petty. Can that jet pack catch the nuke asked X. yep, I got
 
warp drive, its gonna be very close, but I think I can do it, now, you
 
go get Zero medical help ordered Laser Alloy blasting off. Ok, let's
 
move out ordered X. meanwhile, Laser Alloy turned to full power
 
as closed in on the nuke. 25 minutes later, Laser Alloy was less than
 
3 minutes behind it. Ok, I got one shot, let's do it. He flew under it
 
and pushed it up to veer it off course, its working! The nuke is
 
heading for outer space, now to make sure it stays there. As Laser
 
Alloy guided it, he was hit from behind. What the? Huh? Who are
 
you demanded Laser Alloy. Oh don't worry, X knows all about me,
 
in fact we battled at Sigma's Palace on the moon replied the
 
mysterious Maverick. Huh? Wait, you're… that's right, I'm Lumine
 
and there's no way you're gonna stop this nuke from hitting its
 
target. Lumine then hit Laser Alloy with a paralyzing beam which
 
caused him to be immobile temporarily. Aw, can't move too bad
 
said Lumine laughing. He then veered it back on course, with Alloy
 
helpless, the nuke finally reached it target. A huge explosion
 
occurred. NO! Why you dirty Maverick! I'll destroy you for this.
 
Shouted Laser Alloy. Oh really, we'll let's battle then to see who's
 
the best replied Lumine arrogantly.
 
 
Things are now in a crisis, with
the States hit with a nuke, Can Laser Alloy defeat Lumine? Will the other Hunters get Zero help in time?
