Chapter 3

Everyone was a couple of miles away from Orochimaru.

Naruto: “Man that was close.”

Sasuke: “Never thought that Orochimaru would even be here in the first place.”

Hinata: “Maybe he got a Digivice too.”

Sakura: “And if Orochimaru's here, then maybe Kabuto is too.”

Agumon: “Excuse me, Naruto, but who's Orochimaru?”

Tentomon: “Yeah, from what I saw, he looked like one bad Digimon.”

Neji: “He's not a Digimon.”

Naruto: “He's from our world. He's a ninja like us, but ten times more powerful. He's known as one of the three legendary Sannin. The highest rank of ninja you can go.”

Lee: “Orochimaru is our number one enemy. He tried to destroy our village.”

Shikamaru: “It's such a drag when this happens. He pops up out of nowhere.”

Shino: “He's obsessed with power, and he'll stop at nothing to get it.”

Gatomon: “Wow, sounds like a really dad guy.”

Tenten: “You have no idea.”

Agumon: “Hey, why don't you teach us how to fight like you?”

Naruto: “Huh?”

Babumon: “Yeah, if you teach us how to fight like you, we can help you defeat Orochimaru.”

Naruto had a huge grin on his face. “That's okay with me! What do you say guys?”

Hinata: “Well, I don't mind.”

Sakura: “It would be a great help.”

Sasuke: “Hmm, fine.”

Neji: “I agree, but it would take too long to teach them everything we know. Why don't we just teach them the Transformation Jutsu?”

Naruto: “That would be better. I think it would take days for them too learn everything.”

Lee: “Then it's settled. We only teach them the Transformation Jutsu.”

Everyone: “Right!”

Out in the open

Naruto: “Alright, Agumon, I want you to try and transform into me.”

Agumon: “Okay.”

Naruto: “First, you must make a hand-sign like this,” (makes a hand-sign) “Focus, and transform. Got it?”

Agumon: “Yeah got it.”

He made a hand-sign, and tried to focus, and… “Transform!” ... Nothing happened.

Agumon: “Aw man, nothing happened.”

Naruto: “Don't worry; it'll take a little time.”

Orochimaru's new Hideout

Serpentmon: “Orochimaru, I fail to see why we didn't finish those brats off.”

Kabuto: “Lord Orochimaru has his reasons. We want to see how long it takes for them to survive in this world.”

Machinedramon: “Relax, Serpentmon. You need to keep your temper under control.”

Serpentmon: “Shut up, Machinedramon! I just to kill them, before they find out!”

Kabuto: “To find out what? That they are to be the new Digidestined? They don't have what it takes.”

Orochimaru: “I wouldn't underestimate them Kabuto. They learn quickly for genin. It shouldn't take them long for them to find out.”

Serpentmon: “Whatever.”

Kabuto: “I think it's my time to test them. Let's go Machinedramon.”

Machinedramon: “Yes.”

Back with Naruto and everyone else

All of the Digimon tried their best to transform, but they were unsuccessful.

Sakura: “They look so tired. Why don't you take a rest?”

Biyomon: “Okay. I could use a rest.”

Everyone but Agumon was resting.

Naruto: “Agumon, you can take a rest you know.”

Agumon: “I know, but I'm not resting until I can transform.”

Hinata: “He's just like Naruto.”

Naruto just smiled. Agumon was just like him, never give up. Eventually, Agumon got tired enough to fall flat on his back. Naruto just laughed.

Naruto: “I knew you were going to get tired sooner or later.”

Agumon: “Hey, I'm kinda hungry. Dose anyone have anything to eat?”

Naruto searched his pockets, but found nothing. Hinata spotted some trees with fruit.

Hinata: “Hey, there are some apples in a tree over there. We can eat them.”

Naruto: “Good job, Hinata!”

Hinata blushed. They went to the tree, and picked all of the apples from the tree.

Palmon: “Hinata, can I ask you something?”

Hinata: “What is it?”

Palmon: “Do you like Naruto?”

Hinata squealed, grabbed Palmon, and ran behind some nearby bushes.

Hinata: “How'd you find out?”

Palmon: “You blushed when he told you `good job'.”

Hinata: “I love Naruto. I just never get the courage to tell him.”

Palmon: “Don't worry, I won't tell anyone.”

Then, Hinata sensed something. Something big was coming.

Palmon: “What is it, Hinata?”

Hinata: “Something's coming. We need to warn the others.”

They ran to tell what was going on, but then Kabuto appeared.

Kabuto: “Well, well, it's been a while.”

Naruto: “Kabuto! What are you doing here!?”

Kabuto: “I'm here to do a little testing. Come on out Machinedramon.”

Machinedramon came out. He was huge.

Machinedramon: “So, you're the ones. This should be easy.”

Naruto: “So you have a Digimon too huh?”

DIGI-ANILIZER

“I am Machinedramon. My `Giga Cannon' can destroy anything in its path.”

Machinedramon: “Prepare to die! GIGA CANNON!”

Machinedramon blasted them. The explosion sent them flying.

Agumon: “Naruto! Are you okay?”

Naruto: “Yeah. I'm fine.”

Neji: “Is he an Ultimate level too?”

Kabuto: “Not quite, Machinedramon here is a Mega level Digimon.”

Everyone: “What!?”

All the Digimon were still a little tired from when Orochimaru attacked. But Agumon still had some fight left in him. He then made a hand-sign.

Kabuto: “Huh? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! A Digimon using a Transformation Jutsu? You've got to be kidding me!”

Agumon: “Just one more time. I know I can do it.”

Machinedramon: “This is getting ridicules. GIGA CANNON!”

Agumon: “TRANSFORM!!!!!!!”

Then Naruto's Digivice started to glow. Agumon was Digivolving.

A puff of smoke covered his body. When the smoke cleared, his skin was a dark green, he was ten times bigger, his tail was longer, and blue spiky dorsal fins were sticking out of his spine.
