Gotta say what's on my mind
Something about us doesn't seem right… these days
Life keeps getting in the way
Whenever we try, somehow the plan is always rearranged

Naruto and Hinata are on their two month anniversary. They're at the ramen shop for dinner and Naruto is eating the egg on top to the soup on the bottom. Everything is flying as Naruto slurps the noodles. Hinata has only finished one bowl and he's done with five.

 

Hinata: Naruto?

 

Naruto, mouth full of ramen: Yea Hinata (gulp) what is it?

 

Hinata holding her fist so tight it turns white: We… (Whispers) have to break up

 

Naruto spitting food: What?! What was that?!”

 

Hinata stood up yelling: WE HAVE TO BREAK UP! EVERYTHING WE'VE BEEN THROUGH DOESN'T FEEL RIGHT! AND BESIDES ALL THAT, YOU'RE ALWAYS TRAINING SO WE NEVER GET TO GO OUT AND HAVE FUN! EVERYTHING HAS TO BE ARRANGED TO WHAT FITS YOU!

 

Hinata claming down: I'm sure you're be all right

 

I've got to move on and be who I am
I just don't belong here;
I hope you understand
We might find our place in this world someday,
But at least for now,
I gotta go my own way.

Naruto confused: Why? Why does it have to be like this?

 

Hinata stared at him crying: I-I just have to move on. When I'm with you, I feel like you've never wanted to see who I really was. I just… think we… should see other people…

 

Naruto snickering: That is such a cliché!

 

Don't wanna leave it all behind,
But I get my hopes up and watch them fall everytime
Another color turns to grey
And it's just too hard to watch it all slowly fade away.
I'm leaving' today cause I've gotta do what's best for me,

Hinata a little angry: I don't want to leave, but… I'm tried of seeing everything I have get out of reach. I have to leave today with no regrets. I'm sure you'll meet someone better or be with someone you already know like Sakura-chan.

 

What about us? What about everything

Naruto, now getting angry: I don't get it! What are you trying to say?! We've been through so much and now you're leaving me!

 

What about trust?

 

Hinata, fighting back: What about trust? What about you, always standing me up just to train!

 

Naruto, flinching: …

 

Hinata: Sakura-chan told me!

Naruto losing: I wanted to tell you but…I got over booked. I had to be Kakashi-sensei and Sa…

 

What about me?

 

Hinata: WHAT ABOUT ME? This is why we can't be with each other.

 

What am I supposed to do…

 

Naruto: What am I supposed to do now? You're everything to me!

 

I gotta leave but I'll miss you

 

Hinata: NARUTO! I have to leave now or be forever in hell! Don't worry Naruto…you'll be okay…you'll be hokage one day.

Naruto crying: I'll miss you Hinata…

Hinata runs away to a hill. She sees a tall man looking at the full moon. As she approach him the man turns around smiling

 

Kiba: So how he take it?

 

Hinata crying, yet smiling: Okay!

 

Kiba: You better be crying for joy.

 

Hinata wiping the falling tears: I am…I really am.

 

Kiba and Hinata go to a deep lip lock as the moon gets devoured by the black clouds. The shadow follows the moon to a black background of no regrets.
