Naruto did not move or tried to move. Sasuke threw a punch, but Naruto did not show any pain. Naruto just stood there, looking at Sasuke.

 

“I told you already, I did not come here to fight”, Naruto said. “If you do not want to come back, then do not come back”.

 

“How can this be; I punched his face”, Sasuke thought to himself. “No scratch or sign of blood”.

 

“Damn it, how are you getting stronger every time we meet?” Sasuke yelled.

 

“I do not know why, but turning evil is not the answer”, Naruto explained.

 

“Like I said before; Staying with you is pointless”, Sasuke said. “I need more power”.

 

“Can you defeat your brother now?” Naruto asked.

 

“What?” Sasuke, in shock.

 

“Can you defeat your brother now?” Naruto asked again.

 

“Of course not”, Sasuke replied.

 

“Promise me this; when you defeat your brother, be sure to come back to the village”, Naruto suggested.

 

“I'm not promising anything”, Sasuke said.

 

Naruto ran back to the others, leaving Sasuke by himself.

 

“If I can, then it's a promise”, Sasuke promised to himself.

 

Naruto arrived at the fight where his friends barely won.

 

“Sakura-chan, everything is ok”, Naruto said. “Sasuke will avenge his family's death and come back to us”.

 

“How do you know?” Sakura asked Naruto.

 

“It's a promise of a lifetime from Sasuke”, Naruto explained.

 

Naruto smiled and everyone returned to the village safely.

 

Will Sasuke come back? Only time will tell.
