Summary: Tenten tests Neji's memory.

 

Memory Test

 

“What kind of training exercise is this?” Neji asked, frustrated, as Tenten tied a blindfold around his eyes.

 

“No Byakugan!” was her reply before she stood in front of him and placed her hands on his shoulders.

 

“Kiss me,” she commanded.

 

He started, surprised.

 

“On the lips,” she continued.

 

“And no Byakugan,” she reminded him.

 

He raised one perfect eyebrow, “What is the meaning of this exercise?”

 

“To test your memory,” she replied innocently. And, of course, he didn't know if she was lying or hiding anything from him because she had blindfolded him and forbidden him Byakugan. And she could always tell when someone used Byakugan on her.

 

He bent his head down, picturing his brown-haired teammate in front of him, hands on his shoulders.

 

Slowly, he bent down, and his lips met… something.

 

After a pause, Tenten said softly, “Neji, that's my nose.”

 

Her hands moved to his head and guided it down, “These are my lips,” she said, before touching his to them.
