Forgotten Soul

Death…

What is it that sounds so sweet?

So morbidly reposed

In eternal slumber

You're my reason for this

The torment you put me through

The hate you consumed me with

It swept through me like fire

Leaving nothing in its wake

There was nothing left to create

No dreams left unbroken

No soul left to mend

Nothing but pain filled me

It's now time to return the favor

All this is for you, see?

I wait quietly as you walk through the door

Removing your coat you reach for the lights

This darkness is eternal, you won't escape

Through the rooms you walk

With no lights I follow with ease

You shiver slightly at the night's breeze

You call my name through the night

You jump slightly when I appear behind you

You smile and tried to talk to me

The cruel smile on my face isn't missed

“It's your turn.” I said smiling

I pull up my sword

I never knew how easy it cuts skin

Your blood stains my face

I smile as I watch

Your dying expression of shock and fear

Yes, love it's your turn

We'll burn together

In a sea of fire

I love you
