Fractured Fairytales
Unicorns, fairies and
Princesses are of a different
World…I’ve never had a happy ending
The binding to my book of
Dreams has snapped.
There’s no way I’m
Getting them back.
This is my book of
Fractured Fairytales.
With its pages full of
Shattered dreams and
Lost hope of my once
Fantasy world
The pages of it all
Blow away in the wind
This fantasy cannot
Be found
Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty,
Prince Charming…they all have
It, but I need it. This dream
To be real.
Fairytales don’t mean
Much to me. No such thing
As a happy ending. Just
Another heart breaking
Beginning
