Listen well my quiet dove
Listen well then sing
You know the way to paradise
But there you will not be
 
In shadow you live
With pain you dream
Cold and dreary
Alone it seems
 
Lead the way
You will not stay
In Eden's trees
Or Edger's El Dorado
 
In life it seems
You lose the way
To many roads
To many foes
 
Friends will come
And bring you home
But here you are
Till you let them go
 
Open your heart
Open your mind
For those you love
Those you left behind
 
Then again
You listened well
To your old scars
To old sins
 
To be born again
To be found anew
To forgive your enemy
To find you
 
The journey is hard
Confusing at best
Take the wrong path
Find the right plan
 
Call your spirit
Seek the truth
Ride the wind
Live for you
