Ode to White Roses
 
 
White like fresh snow,
Blooming like a sun-rise
Thorns sharp.
Beauty with an attitude
No sorrow just joy
Graceful with each petal.
There is no anger in a rose
With beauty like a rainbow
Never losing its peace.
Stopping only to receive praise
Giving and receiving love.
 
The stem jade green
A mixture of blue and yellow
Just a few colors of the rainbow.
With pink and red sisters
Soaking up the sun-rise.
Another day another praise,
Never selfish
Beauty shares in all ways.
Snow white with never ending tranquility
Giving sweet thoughts like a piece of candy.
 
Showering you with joy, happiness, and excitement
Rain softly falling
Giving refreshing delight.
The rain flows downward faster and faster
Making the snow white beauty droop down,
But what's this?
Elegant sunlight
Shining down with wonderful pleasure
Again blooming with sweet candy-like charm.
 
The sun comes down the rose closes
Too cold to stay open
Keeping her secret locked up,
Revealing in the morning her beauty
Loving everyone passing by,
