Darkness
Darkness,
The evil inside us all,
The separation of light,
The death of goodness,
The mutilation of humanity.
Darkness,
It causes us to live,
To steal,
To destroy ourselves,
For it is the voice inside our heads,
That tells us to fail and fall.
Darkness,
The evaporation of our soul,
The creature that makes your heart cry out,
Yet no one hears you,
The person in your mind,
That makes your body howl.
Darkness,
The true destruction of what we are,
The true terror we try to hide from.
Darkness,
The pulse that keeps us alive,
The heartbeat that keeps us whole.
