Reflections of the Broken
The lands of earth swallow our skin
And muffle voices from deep within
The sorrow, sadness and despair
Are shallow winds and cool soft air
Deep blue oceans that turn to black
Are my eyes as I stare back
Salty translucent tears
Are the reflections of my fears
The first one is grief
The second one anger
So much hatred, loneliness and I can't help but wonder
Shadowfax the lord of all horses…
Who will help me against all forces.
Let alone stand tall and grown
Crying alone for a love never known
The winds are my shelter as the cold rain falls
The voices say enter
But their eyes judge all
Help me, save me, leave me, break me
Sing a song to me that will help me get back to safety
