Sunset
The sunset is of heavenly lace,
Sent to us by light of grace.
Down on slides of golden beams,
With light of colored scenes.
Now the sky is painted black
dotted with thy stars
Some shine so bright,
Some so faint from afar.
Like painted pictures of things,
Like the lady who does sing.
The dawn is seen
With colorful beams.
The early dawns color fades,
As the sun brings light of golden shades.
So brilliant is the shine,
to blind the eyes of mankind.
Golden beams to warm the heart and soul of man.
Also bringning life and energy to this land.
The day goes by
with the sun high in the sky.
Clouds of soft cotton drift slowly by
in the sky so high.
Painting pictures of things for us to see
Like a snowy white rabbit in a big top hat
or even you and me.
Well now the sun is slowly going down
The sunset is as beautiful as a jeweled crown,
Sleepy dreams surround us this time 'round
