Luscious green leaves stood out in different directions

Dancing an unknown dance with the wind

They hung on long branches on a tall tree

Freely doing whatever they please

People always gather around the tree

Admiring it for its beauty and strength

An ancient and mysterious tree

That has been through so many things

Pain and sorrow

Happiness and joy

Has been through it all

Yet it still remains strong

Refusing to give in at all

Has fought for centuries in ancient wars

Though everything is peaceful and wars don't happen anymore

An ancient war from long time ago

Is still happening inside of it

A war, which it cannot escape at all
