Where to begin?

She's really cute. I remember the first time we met. It was Bemmer, Mandy, Amanda, and I back in the States. (Daisuke hadn't joined us yet.) As if on instinct, I latched onto Amanda. It just happened that way.

We grew close really quickly. Amanda didn't socialize much. The others and I tried to pull her out of her shell. She stayed by me most of the time. Amanda and I dated for two years.

And then she died in an accident.

Don't worry, there's a happy ending to this story. She's still with me. Not in my heart. Amanda is literally still with me. How? I don't keep her body in a closet or anything like that. No. She's an angel now.

“Soot, who are you talking to?”

I turned my head. “No one, dear.” I turned back, grinning.
