Student Lounge

-Friday-

It's three o'clock. Usually, there is nothing to do. Perfect thing for interns about to wrap up the work week. Where do most of them go? The student lounge, of course. What goes on there?

Mandy sat on the couch. The TV ran in the background. It looked like a daytime game show. Her eyes scanned the room. So far, there were only four people besides her. She moved her arms behind her head. What's going to happen today?

Most students do homework in the lounge. Some goofed around. The TV was on most of the day. Sometimes, it's on a different channel. But who really notices? The TV's just on for background noise. Some of the students even forget it's on.

There are games in the lounge. Mostly vintage, some new. A snack bar and drink machine complete the lounge.

It's also a good place to nap. Mandy lay back on the couch and closed her eyes. It didn't take long for her to doze off.

The same thing will happen again next Friday.
