Soot walked into the student and frowned. It's quiet. Too
quiet.
He spotted the tape player over in the back corner. The intern
smirked and walked over to it. The tape player screamed, “Use
me! Use me!” Soot looked around quickly. Tape goes in. One
more glance around.
The intern snickered.
Click.
Attack with the first notes. Mandy jerked up, panting. The three
students in the lounge looked up. Mandy panted, looking around.
Soot stood by the tape player, grinning.
“And you're welcome!” he shouted. “Come Baby
Come” filled the lounge. Soot saluted with a grin.
“Soot!” Mandy screamed. Her words disappeared under the
pounding music. Her fellow intern bowed and walked out of the
lounge.
“Soot!” Mandy yelled. “Get back here! Get back
here!” The door swung shut. She huffed and marched over to
the tape player.
Will we see this happen again? Maybe…
