When I saw Ash I wanted to run screaming toward the hills. I mean he was supposed to be
dead. But looking into his eyes I knew that he was not like them he was different from them.
If I had just seen him with out looking in his eyes I would have killed him. But, Myste always
says not to attack vampires unless they are attacking me or someone else.
I can feel the he is not evil. I know he does not want to hurt us, but he scares me, he is a
vampire, I know how strong he is (AN: no she dosen't she don't know the half of it but that
is for a later date >^ . ^ happens when he needs to drink? Do people die? I can not see Ash hurting people. But, he
must mustn't he?
My sisters fained when they saw him. Maybe I should have fainted too. But I think I will
take it as it comes.

But . . . he . . . is . . . d. d. dead he shouldn't be here. He should be in the ground . . . buried.
What is he? . . how come he is here? They said he was dead! I don't want to know why. But,
Myste trusts him . . . but she was married to him . . . Daisy trusts him too . . . I think. I can't
think. I need to go out for a walk but I can't do it at night. He looks the same . . no . . . he is
more . . I don't know what to think. I'm really scared.

Ash . . . he died. But he is still alive. I don't understand. BUT I'm going to FIND OUT!! Ten
years ago strange things started to happen. Ash and Gary went out at night sometimes
coming back injured. Other people in other towns also did that. That went on for five years.
Then one day Gary came back but Ash did not. Myste almost fell apart after that. She threw
herself into raising Ashlinn and fighting off Vampires. But she never lost herself to hate, I
don't know how she did that when they killed her love. Myste is so good at keeping her emotions
out of her slaying. But people who have been killed do sometimes come back as Vampires. Is
Ash a Vampire?
