Chapter 1

September, 5 2039 6:29 am Old Celadon City Ruins

A dark cloaked figure walked through the ruins of Old Celadon City. He stopped at an abandoned building that had once been the Game Corner and walked inside. He went down a hallway and stopped at a wall. He flicked a switch on the wall and the wall started to rumble and it open to revel stairs leading down into darkness. The stairs lead to a huge room with a table in it. At the table sat Erika and several other people. "Oh Ash I'm glad you could make it." said Erika " How are you?" "Get to the point Erika you didn't call me here just to make small talk." said Ash "I called you here to tell you to get your troops ready to attack a base in Cerulean City." replied Erika " Ok " replied Ash " When are we going to attack? " "Tomorrow night at 9:30" said Erika " All right what's our strategy?" asked Ash " The base is on an island well have to attack with ships. We have 2 battle ships that are armed with long-range artillery guns. They will launch the frontal attack and pound the base with shells. We have 10 gunboats that will creep up from the back of the island and land our soldiers there. We also have 5 Apache attack helicopters that can provide cover for the soldiers." replied Erika "That's a good plan Erika my soldiers will be ready by tomorrow night." said Ash

**************************************************************** ********************************************September 6 2039 9:30 pm Cerulean Bay

Ash sat in the gunboat waited for the battleships to start firing at the base. Boom! Crash! The battleships started firing at the base. The shells slammed against the base tearing the metal apart. More shells pounded the base causing massive explosions. "All right everyone were going in" said Ash the gunboats and the attack helicopters moved toward the base. Suddenly from the base came missiles streaking toward the helicopters and gunboats 2 of the missiles made impact with the helicopter. Both of them burst into flames and crashed into the water. 3 other missiles hit a gunboat and exploded causing debris to fly everywhere. " How could they have known we were here!" yelled Ash around him missiles rained down slamming into gunboats and attack copters. Smoke filled the air and and soldiers fell into the water. Then from the shore machine guns opened fire on the boats killing people and ripping holes in the boat. "We have to get to the shore quickly or there going to wipe us all out!" yelled Ash to the person driving the boat. "I'm going the fastest I can!" he yelled back then he collapsed on the floor with holes in his chest. Ash jumped into the driver seat and hit the acceleration. The boat surged forward toward the shore. Bullets and missiles flew past the boat. Ash yelled " Were almost there get ready to land" The boat landed on the shore and the soldiers poured out. " Take out the missile launchers and machine guns first then go after the enemy soldiers!" yelled Ash and ran toward a missile launcher pulled a pin out of a grenade and tossed it. The missile launcher blew up in a huge explosion showering him with metal pieces. Around him soldiers were cut down from machine gun fire. A solider aimed his Assault rifle at him and fired Ash ducked behind a rock and fired back at him the solider collapsed with blood pouring out of his chest. Ash grabbed a rocket launcher from the dead solider and fired it at a machine-gun emplacement. The rocket destroyed the emplacement and killed the solider that was manning it. "All right that's the last of them now we have to get in the base" he said to his few remaining soldiers. Ash blew the large metal door open and walked inside the base. He and his soldiers walked the corridor. " I don't like this" he said, " The entire place is deserted" " Maybe we killed them all" said one soldier " I doubt it this is a pretty big base" replied Ash they walked into the command room. Ash stopped suddenly inside the command room were hundreds of pounds of C4 explosives " Run!" he yelled " This place is going to blow!" They ran through the corridor behind them the explosives blew up a gigantic fireball followed them many of the soldiers were enveloped by the fireball and burned alive. Ash jumped out of the base and fell on the sand behind him the base blew up in a massive hellfire. The only remaining solider said " We won the base was destroyed" "Yeah but at what cost" replied Ash
