Ash and Misty were on a boat that was heading towards New Island.
"I don't seem to get it, Ash. Why are you wearing this brown jacket over your trainers outfit?
It doesn't make sense. And you look very diffrent without your cap." Misty said as she was
piloting the boat.
Ash turns around and faces Misty, saying, "Look, Misty, how do you feel if you are a Pokemon
Master who is on a boat heading towards an inhabited Island? It will attract the press and I
don't want unwanted attention."
Misty grabs Ash by the neck and yelled, "Look, Mr. Big Head Pokemon Master! You're lucky
that the press doesn't know that you are here otherwise I would have pushed you into the
water and see you make an embarassment of yourself!"
Ash: Misty, can't you get a better idea?
Misty: Well, Ash. I'm only here to take you to New Island because of Alex, not because of
this moment for us to argue over yourself.

Ash: I thought this place used to be a lab area?

Misty: Lugia, Mew, Celebi and the Unowns. They covered up this place in order to help
Mewtwo. So basically, this forest is the front while its covering a lab.
Ash was about to walk into the forest until he remembers about Pikachu.
"What about Pikachu?"
Misty says, "Don't worry, he'll be with Alex."

In Cerulean Cave.
Pikachu was sitting at a table with Alex.
Pikachu: <And the fact that the Mew was at the Road Authority office, proved that no gun
can stop him, when the madman was surrounded by the police.>
Alex and Pikachu were laughing.

Ash and Misty were walking in a forest.
Ash: It seems quiet.
Misty: Look, basically, you are as strong as any electric type Pokemon I know, so don't be
worried.
Ash: Yeah, I wouldn't be worried about you as if I like you.

Misty yelled, "TAKE THAT BACK, ASH!"

but as he now a dangerous threat to our organisation, we must destroy him!
Voice: Destroy who?
Giovanni and his men looks at the front door, to see a Pokemon who's body is covered in
armor, full of ammnution and missiles.
Giovanni: Its him!!! RELEASE THE POKEMON TO ATTACK HIM!!!
The mysterious Pokemon raised his hand while saying, "Try me."
The Team Rocket members released their Pokemon and they straight away prepared to attack
the mystery Pokemon when the Pokemon's chest armor opened.
Giovanni: WATCH OUT!!!
The Team Rocket members and their Pokemon were shot away by a beam coming out of the mystery
Pokemon's armor.
Giovanni: NO!
Pokemon: Now, its your turn.
The mystery Pokemon raised his hands and creates an explosion with Giovanni just near the
middle of the blast.

In the Johto Region, Gary was seen top of Mt. Silver.
Gary: Something is not right.
Suddenly, part of the mountain exploded to reveal a cave.

Misty: I never thought that finding that lab is very tough.
Ash: Next time, I'm taking charge.
Misty: Are you picking a fight with me?

"What just happened?"
The Doctor walks to Giovanni and said, "You survived a very intense blast."

Doctor: They're lucky that they got the Psychic Pokemon to protect them with a barrier, but
the other Pokemon they had are in Critical condition, I heard. Oh, and Mr. Giovanni, I'm
afraid that you may have tempoary lost sight in one eye.
Giovanni: WHAT?!
Doctor: Don't worry, it will heal. But it might take some time. Just rest, Mr. Giovanni.
Giovanni lay back on the hospital bed.

"Fine, just admit that you'll lose and I'll pay for lunch this time."
"Fine, I give you, you're the Pokemon Master, Ash! Only for the lunch."

Ash: Fine, so, its a date.
Misty relised what Ash meant. "Hey!"
Ash's back was facing Misty, as he found something diffrent in the bushes, very diffrent
color from the trees and bushes.
"I think I found the lab, Mist."

Misty: That's strange, nobody is here. I expected someone to be here.
Ash sees 2 diffrent colored glass balls on a nearby table, one blue and one yellow.
Ash: Hey, Misty, look at these.

Ash sees a note, saying, "To Misty".
Ash: Hey, Mist. There's a strange note over there.
Misty walks to Ash and reads the note.
"So, what does it say?"
"Ash, it says that these marbles are for us to take."
"Ok." Ash took the marbles and placed them into his pocket.
"So, it looks like we've got a couple of rats to exterminate," a voice said. Ash and Misty
faced the entrance to see a Pokemon with part of his body made out of steel.

Pikachu: Someone's interupting the test.
"I'm not worried. Ash will be fine, Pikachu," Alex said as he continues drinking his tea.

Ash was running down a path in the forest as he was running away from the weird Pokemon.
"Why did I suggest spliting up when he's after me?" Ash stopped running. "No more running
away this time. I must fight back." Electricity started to spark in Ash's left hand as he
removes the left glove and tosses it away. "I have no choice, but to fight." Ash notices
a yellow glow in his pocket and as he takes it out, it was one of the marbles that Ash took.
Ash: Now my battle is going to begin.
The weird Pokemon dashed towards Ash. At the last minute, Ash points at the Pokemon. "I know
what I must do." Yellow electricity sparked in Ash's finger. "This time, I am not going
to run away." More yellow electricity surrounded Ash's body. "Time to finish this." Ash's
left fist stared to attract all the electricity around his body. "ThunderBolt Punch!" The
punch landed on the weird Pokemon straight into the body, landing a large visible dent.
Ash looked up at the Pokemon's face, covered by a metal mask with a black glass for the eyes
to see. Through the black glass are two familiar blue eyes. As Ash was staring at the eyes, at
that instant, the "paw" of the Pokemon grabbed Ash by the neck. In Ash's mind, he hears
a familiar voice, "Anybody will be paying a price for a clone of you!"
Behind a tree, a hand used some ice energy to create three ice daggers. The hands suddenly
threw the ice daggers at the Pokemon's back, where the circuits were showing.
The Pokemon suddenly felt a drain of energy. As he scanned his body, he felt three sharp
objects stabbing him from behind.
Misty: Stay away from him, Clone, before I give you holes to match on your back.
The Pokemon released Ash as he starts to glow blue.
"This is not the last time you'll see me." The Pokemon teleported away, leaving behind a
weakened Ash and Misty watching.
Misty: I thought you wanted to fight back. Why didn't you when he caught you by the neck?
Ash: I was distracted because that Pokemon looked familiar. Those glowing blue eyes it had.
It brought back a bit of memories, but that's all.
Misty: What you saw was a clone. I have no idea why he's here, but what I do know is that
he is not like Mewtwo.
"That explains what he meant on cloning me," Ash mumbled as Misty helped him up.

A week later, Ash was lying on his bed back in Pallet when Misty walks into the room carrying
a letter. "Its a mail from Alex. Its about an enrollment to school."
Ash: Huh? Why would he do such a thing for us?
Misty: Whether you like it or not, we're going to the same school. Its Pokemon Tech.
Ash: What? How in the world did he send us to that place for rich kids?
Misty smiled. "What you don't know that being a Pokemone Master before you, he made quite a
lot of money for that part of his lifetime."
Ash: Why the generosity?
Misty: Maybe its a favor since you're a Pokemon Master in three diffrent leagues.
Ash: I see. So, when do we start?
"Don't worry, its just only 3 weeks. Relax for now." Misty pushed Ash down to a chair. "Just
watch some TV just to pass the time."
Ash stared at Misty as if Ash was expecting her to read his mind.
"Ash, don't stare at me like that."
Ash: You knew, didn't you? About the secret in Pokemopolis. About the sword and my new
powers.
"There's something you should know. That yellow crystal you used against that clone is
actually an ancient device which has a spirit of a Pokemon in it," Misty explained.
"Coincidently, the spirit is said to be a Pikachu."
"So, I am using a Pikachu's power? But what does my power from Pokemopolis has to
do with it?"
Misty smiled. "The device actually controls your energy even though your gloves surpresses
the power."
"What do you mean?"
Misty: You'll see when you get outside.

"You see, Ash. I also have powers too. But not only that."
Suddenly, Ash was strucked by a blue blur which sent him flying to a tree, hitting his
back on a branch, which stopped him from flying onwards. Ash quickly landed back on his feet
to see Misty with a Vaporeon's tail behind her.
"Misty, how?"
"Remember the blue crystal you took from New Island. It was another device with a Vaporeon's
spirit inside," Misty explained. "And the spirit has merged with me."
Fear started to appear on Ash's face.
"Don't worry, the effect is only temporary. Even spirits need to rest." The Vaporeon tail that
was attached to Misty disappeared. "Scared you, didn't I?"
"I nearly thought you were going to be a Vaporeon."
Misty smiled. "Well, that was just a bit of my power, any more will make me really become one.
Sorry about hiting you like that. But I know you could take the pain. Well, just as long as
we don't show off our powers to anyone else, we'll be fine." Misty walks away, leaving Ash
behind in the garden.
"I never did have a part of me become a Pikachu when I used that yellow crystal. Is it
because that attack was just an inch of my full power?" Ash looked as his hands.
