Disclaimer: DO I really have to do this every chapter? *sigh* I do not own Pokemon, never have and never will. Hell I dont even own Spike, but I do own Shadow! Well at least I own something!
(With Jessica/ Jessica's POV)
Finally I made it out of the cave and caught me a Geodude.
It might have took me half a week to catch and train it.
But I did it.
Now off to New Bark Town to get my Pokedex.
Knowing Spike she already has done it and is in Cherrygrove,
or on her way to Violet City already.
Either that or she took the other route,
and started catching all kinds of Pokemon.
Coming up on Route 49 infront of the rest area,
I spot some thug looking guys.
They wont let anyone pass,
the line of trainers looks like it goes quite a ways.
So me, being me, decides to go to the source.
I dont want to wait for the rest of my life.
"Excuse me! Could you please move!" I yell at the thugs
"I really need to get to New Bark Town and you are blocking my fucking way!"
"Kid you have a bad mouth." one of them say
"Yeah! Looks like we need to teach you a lesson!" the second one says.
Throwing out their Pokemon,
which only turn out to be three Ekans', two Koffings, and four Zubats,
I laugh and let Night and Dude out.
"Geodude! flatten those Zubats with Rock Throw!
Dratini thunder wave those Koffings and throw an Icy Wind at those Ekans'!"
Paralizing the Koffings gives Geodude just enough time to flatten the Zubats to where they faint,
and Dratini finishes off the Ekans' with his Icy Wind.
"Now, Geodude! Rock Climb those Koffings while they are still Paralyzed!"
And the show is over folks!
i win!
Doing a victory peace sign,
I hug Geodude and put Dratini back on my shoulderblades.
Running the thugs finally clear the way.
But I do wonder who they were and why they were blocking the rest area to New Bark Town.
'Maybe they were waiting for something to happen Master'
'You have a point Night, and how many times do I have to tell you to call me by my name?'
'I like calling you Master,
It makes you all kinds of funny colors.'
People give Dragons too much credit.
Dont get me wrong they are as loyal as a Growlithe,
But they have mouths on them like Arboks.
"Ok lets go and meet Professor Elm,
I wonder what Spike is doing right now?"
(With Spike/ Spike's POV)
Walking to New Bark Town was easier then I thought it would be.
Though I am worried about Shadow,
she should already be here.
Knowing how impatient she is.
Of course she might be battling still.
Walking to THE PROFESSOR ELM'S lab I feel myself start to get giddy.
I am about to meet one of my idols.
I hope I dont make a fool of myself.
"Oh you must be one of the young ladies from Blackthorne City"
exclaims Professor Elm when he sees me.
"Yes, my name is Chanice"
"Well Chanice it is nice to meet you. Are you ok?"
"Yes!" I yell in his face accidently, "I mean yes I am ok, but I have a question for you."
"Ask away"
Great, he looks scared of me now.
Probably thinks I'm some kind of murder.
"Have you figured out how the energy makes a Pokemon evolve?"
Surprised by my question he forgets his fear of me that he had just a second ago.
A smile splits onto his face when he processes what I asked.
"No, but I am surprised that you would ask that question."
"Well I want to be a Pokemon Researcher when I get older, and I figured that I should ask that question from one of my greatest idols."
"I mean come on its not everyday that you meet your idol."
"That is true young lady, and I am flattered that you look at me as your idol,
maybe when you get done with the Pokedex you could come and work with me."
I think I just died and when to heaven!
THE PROFESSOR ELM SAID I COULD COME AND WORK WITH HIM!
As composed as I could be I said that, that would be awesome.
Meaning I fan-girl squeeled and fan-girl clapped while answering.
Handing me my Pokedex he told me to come and visit so that we could discuss Pokemon habits.
After saying that I would I left, only to see Shadow coming here, with that cocky smile that she wears once she kicked some arrogant person in battling.
(Normal POV)
"What did you do this time Shadow?"
"Why hello to you little sister!
Yes I am doing great!
And Yes I did just kick some a-holes butt for blocking my way to New Bark Town.
Now! How are you?"
"Haha, very funny Shadow,
and I knew it!
And I just came back from meeting Professor Elm!
You will never guess what he told me!
He said that I could come back after I complete my Pokedex and work with him!
Isnt that great?!"
"Yeah Spike I am happy for you!
But I have to get going before it starts to get dark."
Walking their seperate ways,
Jessica to the lab
and Chanice toward Cherrygrove City,
their paths were unknown and full of life,
and each had hope for the future.
Unknown to them an evil force was brewing.
(Unknown location)
"You failed!" said a shadow of a man.
The two who were bowing to him murmered apology after apology.
But the man would have nothing of their apologies.
"You two have one more chance!
And if I hear about you losing to some little girl again I will make you wish that you were legendary Pokemon food!"
With that the two men ran out of the office to go and do their work.
"Soon we will have all the power that we need,
it might have not worked in Kanto.
But collecting the legendaries here in Johto,
well that will be a peace of cake.
Who needs the three birds when I can have the two ultimate powers.
Lugia and Ho-Oh.
