I swear one more Jr. Trainer comes to me for a battle and I'll scream.
I think that Tar is up to Level. 14 now thanks to them.
So, that is ok,
But I want to be able to catch more Pokemon.
And the more I travel into the grass,
well...
the more Jr. Trainers turn up.
"Come on Tar,
Lets get away from here.
I dont think anything worth wanting is here."
(With Jessica/ Jessica's POV)
Walking into Professor Elm's lab makes me feel a little...cluttered.
His lab, its so messy.
Of course I have to keep my thoughts to myself.
If Spike ever found out that I thought bad about her idol then she would have a fit.
"Ah! You must be Jessica!" a man, who I come to realize is Professor Elm, exclaims.
"Yes, that would be me and you dont have to yell it out you know."
Ok so maybe I am a little...grumpy.
You would be too if you were already taking down some assholes who think they know everything.
I hate humans... I really do.
"So... I guess you are here for your Pokedex. and look at this you already have two Pokemon! Excellent!"
"Thanks, I guess."
"Now I didnt tell this to the last young lady, but please watch out for Team Rocket."
"What do they look like?"
"They wear all black.."
"And they wear black hats dont they?"
"Why yes they do. How did you know?"
"I kicked two of their butts earlier today. They were blocking the enterance at the rest area to here."
"Well, you are extremely lucky Jessica.
Here is your Pokedex, and please be careful."
"I will Professor. Have a good day."
So that was Team Rocket.
I've heard mother and Jake talk about them when they thought I wasnt listening in.
Mother has a personal hatred for them for some reason.
Maybe I will find out what it is all about if I delve deeper into this mystery.
Besides, if those Rockets that I beat earlier are any indication of how weak they are...
Well they shouldnt be all that hard to take down.
There are absoluely no good Pokemon on your way to Cherrygroove.
Of course you shouldnt expect good Pokemon when you have a Lv. 14 Geodude. and Lv. 16 Dratini.
Maybe I think too highly of myself.
I dont know, but I do know that my Pokemon are happy.
And that is all that matters.
According to Night, its supposed to matter that I am happy, not him and Dude.
Freaking selfless Dragon.
One of these days I will teach him and Dude what it means to be selfish.
"I should have bought some repel in Blackthorne before I left."
'It is too bad that you didnt master because battling all these Rattatta's are annoying.
Though I do think you should get a flying type since the second gym has bug Pokemon.'
"I was acutally thinking about getting a fire type from the cave that leads to Azalea Town."
'That would work even better I think.'
"Yeah, maybe a Vulpix."

"This gym is way too easy."
I guess Tar agrees with me because she nods when I say that.
Of course since Tar knows Rock Throw these birds dont stand a chance.
That and their flying type moves dont make that much of a dent in her HP.
Thank god I am finally to the gym leader.
"I am Falkner! And we should hurry this up because I have a date with a bird catcher."
"Buddy you are a gym leader! Act like one!"
Boy! The nerve of this boy! He needs to learn that Pokemon isnt something to play around with.
He should be happy that Shadow isnt here because she would have went off on him,
just for that little comment."
Of course I have half a mind to go off on him.
But I think I will just crush his Pokemon instead.
"Well then lets get this show on the road!"
calling out a Pidgey.... this guy has got to be kidding me.
"Come on Tar lets show this guy what we're made of."
'Tar!'
"Lavitar! use Rock Throw on this Pidgey!
Lets knock this guys Pride down a few notches!"
Taking his pidgey out was easy.
Now lets see what his next Pokemon will be.
"Come on out Aerodactyl!"
An Aerodactyl!
Shadow is going to be soooo jealous of this guy.
"Hyper Beam Aerodactyl!"
"Tar move out of the way fast! then use Rock Throw before it recharges!"
Thank god Tar jumped out of the way fast enough.
Aerodactyl's eyes arent that good since its a prehistoric Pokemon.
It seems like this guy just got his not to long ago.
So its eyes havent adjusted to the air here.
And his Aerodactyl is out!
"You need to get your Aerodactyl needs to get used to the air in this time if you got it from an Old Amber"
"Thanks I will keep that in mind." he says handing me my first badge.
(With Jessica/ Jessica's POV)
I decided to catch a Hoothoot on my way here to Violet City.
Something told me to catch it.
I dont know what though considering I dont care for bird Pokmon.
Walking to a sign that catches my attention I now see why I got a feeling to catch the Hoothoot.
The gym leader is looking for one, in exchange for...
AWESOME!
An Aerodactyl!
I definatly have to see this.
Walking to the gym I see Spike coming out.
(Normal POV0
"You know, we have to quit meeting like this Shadow."
"yeah I know, the gym leader here is wanting to trade his Aerodactyl for a Hoothoot!
I have to get it!"
"Then go in the gym and tell him.
I just beat him by the way."
"Yeah I can tell."
Going into the gym Shadow and Spike saw that no one else was there for the trade other than the gym leader.
"Hey!" Shadow yelled out to him
"Are you the gym leader here?"
"Yes,I am. why?"
"I want two things from you.
One: I want to trade for your Aerodactyl.
And two: I want a battle."
"I can do both.
How about we trade first then we can battle?"
"I can do that."
After trading her Hoothoot for his Aerodactyl
Shadow and Falkner started their battle.
"Since you know that I have Hoothoot I will send her out first."
"Come on out Dude!"
"You have a Geodude?!
If I would have known that I wouldnt have traded you first!"
"Well its too late now.
Lets get this battle started!
Dude use Rock Throw on his Hoothoot!"
"grrr... Come out Pidgey! Mudslap that Geodude!'
"Oh no you dont! Dodge it!
Use Rock Throw on that Pidgey and end this battle!"
'Oh yeah I am sweetness' was Jessica's thoughts as the Pidgey went down.
"You are a supurb batteler.
I hope that I can battle you again someday." Falkner said while giving Shadow the badge.
Walking out of the gym the two girls went to the Pokemon Center to heal their Pokemon.
On the way Shadow was telling Spike about Team Rocket and how they were here in Johto.
"But why are they here in Johto?" Spike asked
"That is what I want to know.
It worries me because knowing what I've heard of Team Rocket..
They will stop at nothing until they get what they want.
They are what gives humans a bad name for me."
Nodding and taking in the information that she had just found out Spike told Shadow that she thought it would be better if they traveled together
while on the way to Azalea Town.
Deciding that traveling together was the best bet,
the two girls set off on their journey again.
Walking on the same road until they were forced to not go on again.
