she must have gotten annoyed with my insanity muse and came back.
My insanity muse gave me nightmares last night to get his point across that he wants me to write a story.
Too bad! I dont want to write the horror story that has to do with MissingNo.
Ok now....On to the story! I hope you all like it!
(Jessica's POV)
*FLASH*
"Lance-chan! Can you show me your magic again?" I yelled.
I looked around 4 at the time..
It hasnt been that long since father died.
I have been spending more and more time with Lance-chan.
I think mother doesnt like it.
But I am happy right now,
So I really dont care.
"Of course little one. what do you want to see?"
"I want to see all the pretty colors that your...ummm... aura makes!"
"Ok little one. Stand back, I dont want you to get hurt."
When I stood back Lance-chan started glowing pretty colors.
All the colors of the rainbow,
but the one color that was prominent was red.
Lance-chan says that since I can see auras that I am special.
I just like the pretty colors.
Lance-chan told me that I couldnt tell anyone because then they would try to be greedy.
Lance-chan and I dont like greedy people.
*FLASH*
Lance-chan said that he would be my big brother and take care of me.
But we have to keep it a secret since he is the Champion.
*FLASH*
Lance-chan left and said that it would be a long time before we see eachother again.
He had to go back to the Plateu.
I didnt want Lance-chan to leave.
I was sure I had done something wrong.
Thats what the elder told me.
He said that I was Lance-chan's weakness.
I remember I cried for two weeks and didnt eat or talk.
I hated the elder for saying that because part of me thought it to be true.
Lance-chan wasnt there to tell me that he was lying.
Waking up I realize that Lance-chan had always been there for me.
Except that one time with the elder.
I still have the Rockets screams in my head.
But for some reason I realize...
That they deserved it.
They should have to feel the pain that they put Pokemon through.
I will make sure that they feel the pain that they put the Pokemon through.
Lance-chan and Spike were right.
I am not the bad person in this adventure.
I will be the hero for the Pokemon.
Their sword,
their attack,
I will be their defense.
Getting up out of the Pokemon Centers bed that I am in I go and put on my clothes.
Only this time I throw on my hoodie that is in my bag.
With my cargo pants, black beater, and green hoodie,
I realize that...
No one will stop me.
They wil all pay.
And then I will go and find the Elder just to show him that I am not weak.
He will pay too.
But for now I have an evil organization to take down,
I have a gym badge to win.
(Spikes POV)
While Shadow sleeps,
I think about when we first met when we were kids.
It was just after Lance had left to go and live at Indigo.
Walking up to a girl that I thought looked the coolest with her cargo pants and black shirt
I sit down next to her.
I realize that she is crying with a hateful look on her face.
She tells me that Lance-aniki is gone.
That her daddy is gone also.
She tells me that her mother has Jake and now she has no one.
I tell her that she can have me and I can have her.
That way we will never be alone again.
No matter what,
That day I made a silent promise.
I would never leave her alone.
No matter what.
Even with this power she has
I realize that I have kept my promise.
If this cant tare us apart then nothing can.
I will protect my older sister,
even if I have to protect her from herself.
Hearing a noise takes me out of my musing.
I see that Shadow is ready and it looks like she has....changed.
Thats the best way I can put it.
I can feel this difference about her.
Like she almost...
well i'll be damned.
She came to terms with what happened.
(Normal POV)
Looking at Spike Shadow smile.
Her spirits soard when the smile was returned.
"You ready to get our badges and leave this town?" Shadow asked.
Getting up, Spike nodded.
Arm in arm they made their way to Bugsly's gym.
Looking at eachother they decided silently that Shadow would go first.
(Jessica's POV)
Stepping into the gym first I went to look for the gym leader.
Dactyl already at my side, ready to battle.
'This should be fun' I thought.
Recieving a nod from Dactyl.
Coming up on the gym leader I asked for a battle.
Nodding Bugsly sent out a Kakuna.
'Dactyl lets end this fast with a Sky Attack.'
And the cacoon is down for the count
1 down 2 more to go.
Bugsly's next Pokemon turned out to be just as bad as Kakuna.
A Metapod.
This gym is a joke.
Giving the sign Dactly sent a Wing Attack,
knocking it out.
Getting frusterated Bugsly sent out his last Pokemon.
A Syther.
Now thats more like it.
Switching Dactyl I called out Night.
Three Dragon Rages later Syther was down too.
Accepting my new badge and the TM Fury Cutter I walked out of the gym.
Spike was maybe in there for 10 minutes before she too walked out with a new badge.
Laughing at how easy the gym was we went to the Pokemon Center to heal our Pokemon.
Our next step was Ixle Forest.
I have quit hoping for a normal adventure with Pokemon.
Being that I am feeling a powerful vibe coming from the forest,
I know that its guardian is there.
I think that she is waiting for us.
Getting my neves under check,
we walk into the forest.
I hope that Serebi isnt to hard on us,
and lets us pass through this forest without incident.
