“Alright, let's begin,” said the Physical Education teacher.

 

“Me first! Me first!” a girl energetically shouted, jumping and waving.

 

“Sigh Alright, please come to the front and introduce yourself by your first and last name.” the teacher requested. The girl obeyed as the rest of the students made way for her.

 

“My name is Minako Aino, I'm 12 years old, and I'm starting my first year of high school,” the girl introduced herself.

 

“Very good, Miss Aino, demonstrate your skills on the bar,” the teacher ordered, letting Minako work.

 

–Come on, you can do it, Mina– she told herself mentally as she jumped onto the bar. Grabbing it, she swung until she was balanced upside down on the bar. –And to finish– she thought as she swung forward –A half-turn somersault– Then she let go of the bar at the exact moment for the momentum to lift her. Once in the air, she did a half-turn. Now she just had to land well, and she would have given a perfect demonstration.

 

“Meow,” meowed a white cat that was inconveniently standing in the landing zone.

 

–What? A cat?– Minako thought a second before realizing where the cute kitty was standing. “LOOK OUT!” she yelled, trying to scare the cat away, but this distracted her, causing her legs to change their angle, and instead of landing on them as she had planned, she landed on her butt, almost crushing the cat, now successfully scaring it away.

 

“Minako!” one of the students shouted as she approached. “Are you okay?” she asked.

 

《She's Hikaru Sorano; she's in the same class as me, and we've been friends since kindergarten.》

 

“Yes, Hikaru, I'm fine,” Minako replied. “If it hadn't been for that cat, I would have had a perfect landing,” she protested into the air.

 

“The past is the past, Mina. Why don't we go to the infirmary to make sure you're okay?” Hikaru suggested.

 

《She was always the brains.》

 

“Okay,” Minako said, giving up on her plans for revenge against the innocent white-furred kitty, and headed to the infirmary with Hikaru.

“She's the only one who can take this mantle, A,” a distorted voice replied from the object left on the floor. “If it reassures you, she was the same when she was still in training.”

 

“I know, but I didn't mean that,” the intruder clarified. “I meant, if she's not the reincarnation of Princess Heósphora, what are we going to do?” he asked, worried.

 

“Oh, A, my friend, don't worry, I know for sure she's the reincarnation of Heósphora,” Boss replied calmly. “And if by any chance it turns out not to be her, I know you'll know how to fix it.”

 

“Why just me?!” the intruder asked, offended.

 

“Because you're the one there, A,” Boss replied with an obvious tone. “Cutting communication for now. Good luck, A.”

 

“Over and out,” the intruder replied. “Idiot.”

Aino Residence - Bathroom

 

"I have to be as beautiful as Haneda-Sempai if I want a chance," Minako told herself as she looked in the mirror, devising how she would prepare for the date. "I wish I were that beautiful."

 

"And you can be," a masculine voice replied. "You were born with the blessing of Venus's beauty."

 

Minako turned in fear to see who was speaking to her but only saw that white cat that had ruined her day.

 

"Greetings Minako Aino, my name is Artemi-" Artemis introduced himself, but as he finished, he was grabbed by the scruff of his neck by a very angry Minako, so angry that she seemed not even to notice that he had spoken.

 

"You damn cat, you've been ruining my day, you won't ruin my date with Higashi-Sempai tonight," Minako said, very angry, finally kicking Artemis out the window. "AND DON'T COME BACK!"

Artemis, who had hidden in a bush, had heard everything. “Wait, isn't that? Is that Higashi, who was going out with Minako?” Artemis asked aloud to Boss. “Boss?” Then he realized he didn't have his communicator with him, and to make matters worse, Higashi had heard him.

 

“So we have a little spy, huh?” Higashi said, clenching his hand. This caused the bush to compress, trapping Artemis. “Unfortunately for you, you chose the worst hiding place to spy on me.”

Aino Residence - Minako's Bedroom

 

–This dress goes well with my eyes, but this one makes me look more mature– Minako thought, leaving the dresses on her bed, undecided. She was pacing back and forth in her room, distracted by her thoughts, and didn't notice the cylindrical object, slipping on it and falling face down on the floor. “Ow, what is my…” Minako began to say when she saw what she had tripped over. “Strangely decorated pen? Do I even have one of those?”

 

“Excuse the interruption, Minako,” a mysterious voice said.

 

“Where is that voice coming from?” Minako asked, frightened. “Who's speaking?”

 

“Call me Boss,” the voice introduced itself. “As I was saying, sorry for the interruption. But there's something important you need to know.”

A large group of girls of all ages stood in front of the school, none seeming aware of where they were, and on a branch, Higashi sat, holding Artemis by the neck.

“Higashi? It can't be!” Minako said aloud, seeing him hidden behind a tree.

 

“I found you,” Higashi said with a sinister tone as he began to approach slowly and menacingly. “Now, you will be my slave too!”

 

“Minako, quickly shout 'Moon Power, Transform!' and you can transform!” Boss instructed.

“Moon,” Minako began. “Power.”

 

“Not so fast!” Higashi shouted, extending his free hand. “Succumb!” a cloud of pollen appeared in front of his hand and began to surround Minako.

 

–My head hurts... I can't move... But I have to try– Minako thought, resisting the hypnotic effect of the pollen. “Cough Cough Trans Cough Cough formmmm!” As she finished uttering the phrase, a great flash of pure, golden light illuminated the entire surrounding night domain.

 

“Aaaggghhh,” Higashi complained of the pain of being temporarily blinded by the light, releasing Artemis.

 

–I'm free, I can feel it– When the light ceased, Minako's clothes had changed into a blouse that revealed her belly button, a breastplate with shoulder pads showing the shirt underneath, a blue skirt with red at the bottom, an orange brooch, red bows, a white choker with a golden crescent moon, blue heels, a red mask, and a crescent moon on her forehead. –I feel an incredible power–

 

“What are you supposed to be?” Higashi said, surprised.

 

“A warrior who fights for love and justice, the vigilante who will end your evil plans, the scourge of hell to your great evil, my name is…” –I had thought of the whole speech but not a name. Quick Minako, say something to ruin your speech– “Sailor V!” –Yes, that will do– Sailor V pronounced, striking several heroic poses.

 

Higashi stared blankly for a few seconds before giving a confident smile and saying, “Very well, Sailor V, let's see how you face this.” Then he raised his hand towards Sailor V. “My slaves, destroy her!”

 

Then, following his orders, all the girls who filled the park in front of the school entrance lunged at Sailor V. “Die, die,” they said in unison.

 

A redhead girl who had brought a bottle of wine for the romantic date broke it against a tree, scattering wine and glass on the grass, and now had a weapon with which she attacked Sailor V.

 

“Aaah. Kyaaa,” she complained as she dodged the sharp attacks, retreating.

 

Another girl, muscular, ripped a thick branch from a tree and began to use it as a club.

 

“Woooah,” Sailor V yelled, jumping aside to avoid being crushed.

 

A group lunges at Sailor V, another blocks her path; she is completely surrounded.

 

–I have nowhere to run, I can only fight, but I don't know how to fight, nor do I want to harm these girls.– Sailor V thought, seeing her current situation. –I wish there was a way to free them from mind control–

When Sailor V was cornered by a tree behind her and the crowd of girls in front. Artemis, who had already caught his breath and stood up, jumped into the air above her. “Sailor V, catch!” he shouted, doing a somersault in the air, making a crescent moon-shaped compact appear.

 

Cornered, Sailor V heard the shout coming from above and quickly extended her hands, managing to catch the compact. As the girls got closer and closer.

 

“Hold it open and shout: Crescent Compact Shine!” Artemis, who had landed on a tree, shouted.

With the crowd getting closer, Sailor V held the compact high, pressing the button to open it, now reflecting the moonlight. “Crescent Compact Shine!” Sailor V shouted as loud as she could.

 

The next instant, the moonlight reflected in the compact increased its intensity, enveloping all the girls and quickly reaching Higashi. “AAAAAAHHHH,” he screamed as the light hit him.

“Can I confide something in you, Heósphora?” a heavenly female voice said, seeming to await a response.

 

Minako was fascinated and confused by the voice, but before she could answer, the voice spoke again.

“Because you are a great connoisseur of love,” the voice replied to an unasked question.

 

–Love?– Minako thought with curiosity, though she didn't know why she seemed to remember this conversation.

 

“His name is Endymion,” the voice replied again. “Yes, I know what you're going to say…”

 

Then the conversation faded into the light, which also diminished its brightness.

Shida Koan High School - Entrance

 

As the light diminished, it could be seen that all the girls surrounding Sailor V were now unconscious, lying on the ground.

 

Looking for a way out, Sailor V found a firm branch among the trees. She took momentum, jumped, and grabbed it, then swung until she was balanced upside down on the branch. Then she swung forward, letting go at the exact moment for the momentum to lift her, and in the air, she did a half-turn, finally landing on both feet, dissipating the impact of the fall. –I did it–

 

“Clap Clap Bravo, Bravo Clap Clap” Artemis applauded Sailor V's skill.

 

Sailor V returned the gesture with a murderous glare. “Don't think I forgot about this morning.”

 

“I'm sorry about that,” Artemis apologized, embarrassed, with a comically large drop of sweat running down his face. With that said, he jumped down from the tree to join Sailor V.

 

“I'll see if I forgive you… By the way, where's Higashi?” She searched around and found Higashi's school uniform on the ground, with no trace of him. “I guess he was some kind of vampire, and when exposed to light, he evaporated.”

 

“Minako, that's not how it works… you know what, yes. That's the quickest way to explain it,” Artemis said.

 

“Well, shall we go? I feel like practicing my heroic poses and phrases.”

 

“Noooooo,” a sinister voice said.

 

“W-Who said that?” Sailor V asked, frightened.

 

“You're not going anywhere,” the voice continued, now closer. “This battle isn't over.”

 

At that moment, the earth began to tremble, and the plants began to twist. It was then that the earth violently opened, and from the hole emerged several stalks at once, tangling and twisting into a strangely humanoid form. Multiple narcissus buds were scattered throughout these, but the largest of all was at the top of the strange plant figure. Then the layer of petals of the enormous flower opened, revealing that the inner petals, closed in the shape of a crown, carried a face on their front, and not just any face, it was Higashi's, who was very angry. “UNTIL I DECIDE!” he shouted at the vigilante dressed in a sailor fuku and her white cat.

 

Sailor V and Artemis were not prepared to fight again, then stalks and roots came out of the ground, making them stumble. “Higashi-sempai, why?” Sailor V asked, still disconcerted by the reasons for her soulmate to be evil.

 

“My name is not Higashi, it's Narcissus, the King of all plants and soon of your entire pathetic world,” the self-proclaimed Youma claimed to his rivals. “And you will pay for your audacity. Especially you.”

Then the stalks surrounded Sailor V, leaving her completely immobilized.

 

“Stupid, stupid girl. How easy it would be to end your life now,” Narcissus said, lifting Sailor V from the ground and bringing her closer to himself. “But I won't. At least not yet,” he whispered in her ear.

 

Sailor V tried to free herself from the constricting stalks around her body, but her efforts were in vain. “Let me go,” she said, gasping.

 

“Your efforts are in vain. But there's something else to do with them,” Narcissus replied. “You're very beautiful, Sailor V. And it would be a shame if you didn't do something for me before you die,” the Floral Youma said, a sinister smile spreading across his face.

 

Fear grew inside Sailor V. –What is he going to do? Will he take my purity? Is this what Mom warned me about?– she thought, panicking.

 

“Let's see how much a girl can suffer,” the Youma continued. “Suffer as much as I have suffered from being rejected by the most beautiful woman in the world.” Thus, he tightened the stalks that imprisoned Sailor V even more.

 

“AAAAAAAA,” Sailor V screamed as she felt the worst pain she had ever felt in her life.

 

“Sufferrrr,” Narcissus revelled in her screams. “Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha-”

 

Then his laughter was interrupted by a great pain, when the stalks were cut clean by four cards. “Aaaaargh,” the floral being expressed his pain as Sailor V was freed.

 

“I heard a good bouquet of flowers catches any pretty girl. But I admit this is ridiculous,” a voice said from atop the school's entrance wall.

 

Looking in that direction, they found a young man standing on the entrance wall. Dressed in a fitted white high-necked jacket, decorated with gold borders and lines on the shoulders and sleeves, straight white trousers, long and cleanly cut, matching the jacket. Along with a decorative white corset, golden at the front with white cords underneath, a belt, also golden, with a buckle and white details. Finishing with short boots, and white gloves. “Sailor V, allow me to help you defeat this threat,” the mysterious person said. “Delicious Four-Aces Shot!” and as he shouted this, he threw four more cards at the Youma, now aimed at the neck stalks.

 

“Ah,” Narcissus moaned, out of breath, as his head separated from his neck and disintegrated into dust.

 

“Oh, who are you, my knight in shining armor, who saved my life?” Sailor V asked, with two hearts for eyes, as she caught her breath.

 

“My name is Kaito Ace,” Kaito Ace introduced himself. “Until next time, Sailor V.” He said goodbye, disappearing with a jump into the moonlight.

Aino Residence - Minako's Bedroom

 

“You saw him, he was so beautiful and mysterious,” Minako commented as the hearts in her eyes returned.

 

“I wouldn't trust him much, Minako,” Artemis said with a lot of suspicion in his voice.

 

“I think someone's jealous,” Minako scoffed at the Maunekoto's warning.

 

“I'm serious, Minako, we don't know anything about him, it's very dangerous to trust someone like that,” the being with a resemblance to a white domestic cat explained. “Right, Boss?” he asked, looking for backup from the figure behind the communicator.

 

“What Artemis says is true, Minako, you can't trust someone just like that. It's necessary to investigate him and find out who he really is,” Boss added, explaining.

 

“And why can't I trust him?” Minako asked, offended and angry. “He saved me from the monster and killed it, saving the world too, there's nothing to worry about anymore.”

 

“Minako, what we faced today was just another minion of the evil organization known as The Dark Agency, and its agents could be anyone. We can't trust anyone right now,” Artemis explained. “And above all, it's very likely that Metalia is behind this.”

 

“Who?” Minako asked.
