Well… I'm back!

This time it won't be as cheesy. Unlike last time it will have much more humor and stuff… my last fiction was too lovey dovey… this one will have action, romance, drama, humor, and much more! So let's get it started!

Swallow the Knife

Chapter 1

The young ninja watched anxiously as the train, arriving from Tokyo, approached her waiting figure as her comrade, and crush stood beside her. It had been five years since Kenshin had left Kyoto after the encounter with Enishi

He had now married and had a son. She couldn't be happier to see her friend and his family. After all it had been five complete years.

They got off the train and approached Misao and Aoshi with happy smiles on their faces. Well Yahiko was whining because he had little Kenji in his arms, screaming and yelling. The little boy was only seven months old, still having the need to be carried around. She advanced to the group hugging each one and smiling as Kenji calmed down at the sight of her friendly gaze.

"Miss Misao we have missed you." Kenshin said giving her a hug

"Yea it has been long. Is this your son Himora?" Misao asked

"Yes, his name is Kenji." He said

"Here Yahiko I will take him." Misao said to the boy holding the baby

"Be careful he might pull your hair out." He said giving little Kenji to the young ninja with care

"Don't worry." She said calming him down

Everyone starred at her as she calmed the child down by merely holding him

"What?" she asked freaking out by the looks she was receiving from the group even Aoshi

"How did you do that?!?!?!" Yahiko asked loudly

"Do what?" she said not understanding

"You calmed him down without having to get killed in the process" Yahiko said

"I don't know I guess you are just not a children's favorite person." She said throwing little Kenji up in the air and catching him as he giggled merrily

"What does that mean!" he yelled

"Now Yahiko you can yell later why don't we go back to the Aoiya?" She asked holding the laughing Kenji in her arms

"How is it been Himora" Aoshi asked the red haired man

"Nothing much after Kenji was born I was needing a vacation so we sent a letter saying so. Lucky Miss Misao was willing to do so." He said

"Yea ad Misao can handle Kenji the WHOLE time! I can't wait till you have to feed him!" Yahiko laughed

"So what at least I got him to stop crying unlike you! I'm surprised you haven't gone bald Yahiko"

"Yea so what! You will have food in your hair when you're done with the brat!" he yelled

"Kenji is not a brat! I bet he could beat you in a mere spar!" she yelled back

"Why don't we see about that? Me against you!" he yelled

"Fine!" she yelled

"Fine" he yelled

"I think I should not have brought Yahiko." Kenshin said sweat dropping at the seen

"I agree." Aoshi said coldly and yet sweat dropping

"Omasu they are here!" Misao yelled throughout the Aoiya

"Hi you guys! This is Kenji I presume?" Okon asked beside Omasu

"Yes." Kenshin said from behind

"Can I hold him?" Okon begged

"Sure" Kenshin said as Misao gave Kenji to Okon

"OWWW!!!!!!" she yelled as the baby pulled her hair

"Here Kenji. You wanna come back with Aunty Misao

"Sissy" he said happily

"Alright I am now your sissy. Whatever you want." She said holding him once again

"How did you do that?" Okon asked rubbing her head

"Do what? O you mean calm him down? I still don't know." She said

"Well dinner is ready." She said

"I'm not hungry but I will feed Kenji for you Yahiko" she said tauntingly

"I will get you after dinner I mean it!" he said

"Misao may I talk to you?" Aoshi spoke up finally

"Yes come on." She said going outside on the porch

"What is it Lord Aoshi?" she asked

"Why have you not been eating?" he asked

"O I have I just eat somewhere else." She said hoping to persuade him

"Where." He said bluntly

"I don't wish to discuss this in front of a child. perchance after dinner." She said walking away

"Yes after dinner Misao." He said following her into the dinning room

"So Misao how have you been lately anyway?" Kenshin asked

"Good. My training is coming along good and I am earning enough money to help take care of the Aoiya."

"Yes Misao you have yet to tell us what you do" Shiro said after taking a bite of Tofu

"For me to know and you to never find out." She said after giving Kenji anther piece of a rice ball for him to eat

"You know we will find out eventually" Okina said standing up to get sake

"Old man you are not having sake when we have company." She yelled

"Well my pretty Misao I am older, wiser, and smarter so I can do what I want." He said

"Ok so you got one out of three right, but still we have a child in our presence now so you do and I will not save you from falling off the roof next time" she said

"You never saved me." He said

"Umm she actually saved you every time… we didn't want you to drag us off with you. If you drug her then she would land on her feet to where we would land on you…killing you." Shiro told him taking a sip of his tea

"Well it must have been a dream you all had." He said about to take a sip as Kenshin watched in amusement and Aoshi just watched

"One sip and I'll feed it to the plants!" Misao threatened

"This came out of your money though." He said quietly

"WHAT! IF IT IS THAT MONEY I HAVE BEEN SAVING SINCE I WAS FIVE, I WILL KILL YOU!" she said bonking him on the head as Kenji cheered Misao on

"What was that for!" he yelled

"Don't play dumb…wait you don't have to! You owe me 700 yen!" she yelled

"I didn't take it all!" he yelled back

"No that is only half" she said calmly

"You can't have that much!" he said

"With the work I do! Yes, that is only a quarter now that you mention it." She figured

"I think I will retire…Kaoru are you ready?" Kenshin asked

"Yea umm… Misao would you like to take care of Kenji?" she asked

"Sure I'll watch him" she said as Kenji crawled over to Yahiko and pulled his hair rather hard

"Ok thank you."

"Anytime"

"MISAO, YOU GET IT OFF!" Yahiko yelled as Kenji pulled his hair

"Come on Kenji let's get you to bed. O and Himora may I speak to you in privet?" she asked

"Sure."

"Thank you" she said leading him down the hall after picking up Kenji

"Himora now if I tell you the line of work I do, I can trust you to keep it to yourself correct?" she asked laying the now asleep Kenji in his crib

"Correct."

"Strip." She said plainly

"Excuse me I thought you said strip please repeat that for me?" he said

"You heard correctly." She told him

"What made you do this type of… performance" he asked

"Good pay. We need the money. I don't want anyone to know of this but you and me you got it." She said

"Yes I got it but… why?"

"I told you good pay." She said

"No I mean why the sudden need for money?" he asked

"The Aoiya went broke… so I went out in search of a job. I ran into an old friend. We talked and I told her I was in need of a job. She told me of this and I agreed because of the pay only. So every night I sneak out ad well you know." She told him

"I see. But why tell me?" he asked

"I need you to make sure Kenji doesn't wake up crying. He cries you get him." She said

"Yes only for you Misao but they will find out you know."

"I know that is why I only want you too know until I work up the courage to tell Omasu."

"Why not Okina?"

"Are you kidding? He would have a cow!" she said

"Well I am off to bed. Have fun with your spar with Yahiko." He said going down the hall

"I will" she said following him to the dining room to put Kenji to bed and boast Yahiko on how she would win.

"You ready Yahiko I can't wait to `lose'" she said dramatically

"Yea hurry and put the brat to bed" he said running out to the training hall

"Well I cant since he ran off!" she yelled at him picking Kenji up and putting him in the crib in the room next to Kenshin and Kaoru's room.

Aoshi watched as Misao put the now sleeping Kenji into his crib. He quietly approached her tapping her shoulder slightly… really scarring her.

"Shit lord Aoshi you could be a bit more… loud so I could no you were coming." She said holding her heart

"I apologize… now tell me, what has been going on with you." He asked coldly

"Nothing I promise I only go to work at night. It is a bit better to go at night then day if you think about it." She said trying to convince him

"I see… may I accompany you to your… job… to see what you do?" he asked

"Umm… I don't want anyone I know there because…"

"Because…" he slightly asked

"Because I don't want to get embarrassed. Yeah I don't want to get embarrassed." She said happily as she found an excuse

"Ok… whatever you say Misao." He said leaving her

"Ok Yahiko you ready to get creamed?" she asked

"Yeah Misao are you?" he asked trying to be sarcastic

"Little Yahiko doesn't want to admit that he will loose?" she asked charging at him with the boken.

"Shut up Misao and---"he had gotten cut off

"I WIN!!" she said proudly as she knocked him down

"That's not fair!" he complained

"Yes it is… I beat you and you are just mad little Yahiko" she said teasingly as she left the hall

"Misao I want a rematch!" he yelled after her

"Misao packed her `clothes' in her bag for her job. They were very revealing but still covered… most of her body.

"Time to go." She said to herself as she left the room and running into town into the stripper bar… as Aoshi watched from the tree
