Between Love And War

The fire behind the girl blazed on the burning town that stood behind her. She was facing it as
her hair blew past her. Behind her came a horse with a rider on top of it.

"My lady, you shouldn't be here at a time like this." said a male voice. She turned to the man
that was standing before her while a tear slowly slide down her cheek.

"I should have been in there but, they told me to go to the other town across the way. She must
have known." said the girl.

"Who must have known?" asked the man.

"The Queen of here. They're in there and the whole town is gone." said the girl.

"What's your name and your rank of royalness?" asked the man.

"My name is Makoto and I'm the Princess of Jupiter." said Makoto.

"How old are you Princess Makoto of Jupiter?" asked the man.

"I'm 15." said Makoto.

"My name is Ken from the town across the way. When I saw the fire, I came here to see if I could
find any survivers. I'll take you home to your castle." said Ken getting off of his horse.

"It's alright. I will be able to get there." said Makoto. Suddenly, from the fire, a horse ran
threw it and to Makoto. It was a black horse that went right up to her and nuzzled her from the
back. She hugged the horse.

"I'm so glad you made it too." said Makoto softly to the horse.

"If it is alright with you, I will make sure that you get home safely." said Ken as she got onto
the horse.

"Yes, and thank you for your kindness." said Makoto as he got onto his horse. They soon left for
the castle. Ken saw a green rose with a green heart in the inside of it that had a look of an
emrald that was on a gold band. It was on her wedding finger so, he got curious.

"Are you married to someone?" asked Ken to break the silence. All she did was smile.

"No. It came from a friend that I once knew I guess. I've had for so long, I don't remember who
I got it from and when I got it." answered Makoto as she looked at it once more.

"Oh. I'm sorry for asking." said Ken.

"It's alright." said Makoto. They continued to ride in silence for the whole time until they
made it to the castle.

"You're home now." said Ken.

"Would you like to stay for dinner before you go?" asked Makoto.

"No thank-you. I might take you up on your offer maybe some other time. Good-bye Princess
Makoto." said Ken and then rode off to the sunset. Makoto watched until he was gone out of site
and then rode off to the castle.

"Princess Makoto, what are you doing back so soon?" asked King Jupiter. She turned away.

"The whole place was burned and distroyed. They managed to get me away before it happened." said
Makoto.

"We'll get them for this." said King Jupiter...three years later...

"Father, where are you going?" asked Makoto as she came down the stairs.

"I must go off to war." said King Jupiter.

"May I go with you this time?" asked Makoto.

"I really don't think you should." said King Jupiter in war armor.

"Please, father?" asked Makoto.

"Alright. Make sure not to get anywhere near the war though." said King Jupiter.

"Yes father! Thank you." said Makoto and then hugged him.

"Go get ready to ride." said King Jupiter and then Makoto went outside to get Blaze ready. She
went out to the barn where she went up to the same balck horse. It nuzzled up agenst her.

"We're going to go for a ride." said Makoto softly to the horse. She got him all ready and then
rode up to the castle. Here, King Jupiter was waiting. They rode off to the battle field...

"Hey, who's that girl that the King has with him?" asked a man.

"She sure is pretty. I guess she likes to see all of her people die." said another.

"Why shut-up so that the war may begain." said another. Two of the men guards started to ride
off.

"Father, may I go and see what they are going to do?" asked Makoto.

"Alright. You may go but, come back quickly after wards." said King Jupiter and so Makoto rode
off to go with them.

"Princess, shouldn't you go back?" asked a man.

"I'm just going to see what's going on." said Makoto. They came up to three men on horses.

"What do you have to say?" asked the first.

"I'm going to present the treedy to you." said the man.

"What's a treedy?" asked Makoto looking at the paper.

"What it is, is a written down piece of crap that they can shove it up their..." started a man.

"Princess, don't listen to him!" said a guard.

"Princess? You brought a Princess onto the battle field?" asked a man disgraced.

"I just wanted to see what it was." said Makoto. A man rode around and in between the horses
looking at each one carefully.

"Crap? I don't get it." saiod Makoto.

"Don't say that in front of the Princess." said a guard.

"Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap!" said the man.

"Now, you stop that now!" said the guard.

"Read the damn treedy!" said another man.

"Princess, please leave." said a guard.

"Could I read the treedy?" asked Makoto.

"Alright." said the man handing it to her.

"You have two choices. You give up your land to me, or you can give up your life on the battle
field. Signed, King Jupiter. What! I can't believe he would do such a thing." said Makoto.

"Like I told you before. Shove it up one of your guards butts!" said the man.

"Let the war begin!" said a man.

"Princess, get back to the King!" said a guard. Makoto rode off to the King.

"What did they say?" asked King Jupiter.

"That one man said to shove it up one of the guards butt. That's impossible to do." said Makoto.

"They said that in your pressence?" asked King Jupiter.

"Yes." said Makoto.

"Let the battle begin!" shouted King Jupiter. They clashed together in the battle as it begun.
Soon all the men that represented King Jupiter, were gone as they charged toward the two.

"Get out of here Makoto." said King Jupiter.

"No, you have to get out of here. I'll escape. Go father." said Makoto.

"No!" said King Jupiter.

"Now!" shouted Makoto and hit the horse on the butt to make it run wildly out of control and far
away. The men quickly surrounded the horse so that she had no escape. A man on a horse rode up
threw the croud and up to her. He had short blonde hair and light green eyes. You could hardly
see the blonde because it was mostly covered with blood.

"She's mighty pretty." said a man whipping the blood off his face.

"Princess, why not save yourself and let us have your father?" asked the man.

"Why should I be scared of a few men with swords? You may harm me, but I dont care. Just as long
as you do not harm my father." said Makoto.

"What about your Prince in shining armor waiting for you at home for you to come home from the
battle?" asked the man.

"I don't have a Prince waiting for me at home." said Makoto.

"Then what about that ring?" asked the man picking her hand up to look at it.

"It was merly a gift." said Makoto taking her hand away.

"Strong willed one we have here." said the man with a smile.

"You know, that looks like the girl that Ken was talking about for three years." said a man.

"Aren't you Princess Makoto of Jupiter?" asked the man.

"Who wants to know?" asked Makoto placing her hand on her hip.

"Well, have it your way. You're coming with us." said the man grabbing her arm. She jerked it
away.

"I'm perfactly able to go without force." said Makoto glaring.

"We must make sure that you don't escape. You're our prisioner." said the man.

"I give you my word as a lady that I shall not escape." said Makoto.

"Then I take your word on it." said the man.

"You know, it would help if I knew your name." said Makoto.

"My name is Alex. I'm the leader of the army." said Alex.

"Alright." said Makoto. They rode in silence until they came to a town that had a lot of houses
and a Kingdom. Up came a horse that had a man on it.

"What do you bring this young lady here for?" asked the man with short brown hair and ocean blue
eyes.

"Prince Ken, we captured this young lady from the battle field." said Alex with a bow. He circled
around her.

"Are you a bird of prey?" asked Makoto.

"No." said Ken.

"Could you please stop acting like one then? It's teribly uncomfortable." said Makoto crossing
her arms.

"Look at this ring! What a beauty." said a man grabbing it off of her finger.

"Hey! Give that back!" said Makoto as she leaned over and grabbed it back.

"What?" asked the man.

"Don't you have any manners to ask before you just grab something?" asked Makoto checking the
ring out to make sure it was alright. Ken got a glimpsed of the green rose on the gold band.

"Princess Makoto." gasped Ken. She turned to him as a wind blew her hair past her and parts
across her face.

"Humm?" asked Makoto looking at him with those same emrald eyes.

"Could we talk a moment?" asked Ken.

"If it's alright with my captures." said Makoto putting the ring back on.

"Go ahead. You gave your word as a lady." said Alex.

"Follow me." said Ken and then they slowly rode off toward a pond.

"You wanted to talk to me?" mummbled Makoto with an envolope in her mouth.

"Yes. You remind me so much of I young lady that I met years ago." said Ken.

"I guess that I have one of those faces. Does this make since to you?" asked Makoto handing him
the letter.

"I don't understand this sentence." said Ken.

"I'll have to ask him about that." said Makoto as she got the paper back.

"Are you doing your homework?" asked Ken.

"I most certainly, am." said Makoto as she wrote down some answers suing her saddle to write on.

"When's it due?" asked Ken.

"I think, today. No, that one report is due today." said Makoto searching through the saddle bag.

"Is that where you keep all of your homework?" asked Ken.

"Ha ha! I found it. NO! This was last weeks." said Makoto still looking as she brought it up to
her lap.

"Um, is that two months of homework?" asked Ken.

"No. It's four months worth." said Makoto.

"Why haven't you turned it in?" asked Ken.

"I was sorta busy writting letters to all of my friends that wrote me." said Makoto.

"Mako-can. I know who you are and I remember you now." said Ken.

"If you knew me, I well, sorta don't remember you." said Makoto with a pen in her mouth as she
looked up at him.

"Could we stop for a moment?" asked Ken.

"Sure." said Makoto as she shoved it all in the saddle bag. They stopped the horses and jumped
down. Makoto untied the saddle from Blaze and pored cool water on his back. Out of a bag, she
gave pulled out some oats and gave them to Blaze.

"Mako-chan." said Ken softly as he put his arms around her.

"What are you doing?" asked Makoto turning her head.

"Mako-chan, I want to get to know you more." said Ken hugging her from behind.

"Do I know you from somewhere?" asked Makoto.

"I'll put it to you in a nice way. The fire in front us was blazing while the long strands of
your hair blew in the wind beside you. You thought that you should have been in that fire but,
I know that you shouldn't have. I remember taking you home to your Kingdom a three years ago
when you must have been 15. The way that I mostly remember you is by that ring. You told me
that you had got it from someone and you hold it very dear to you. You just don't remember
who or when you got it but it was very special." said Ken.

"You couldn't be him." said Makoto softly.

"Do you want me to take you back to your castle, Princess Makoto of Jupiter?" asked Ken.

"It's you isn't it?" asked Makoto. Ken turned her to face him.

"Those same emerald eyes. Full of wonder but so innocent with a twist of danger. Mako-can, I've
always wanted to see you again to see how beautiful you would be again." said Ken softly as he
lowered himself close to her unil his bangs brushed her forehead.

"It's you. I thought I must have remembered you from somewhere." said Makoto.

"Remember those shadows that you saw off of the balcony so many times?" asked Ken.

"Yeah. They were there every night." said Makoto.

"I would come to see if I could get a glimpse of you. Sometimes, I would comein while you were
sleeping and look at you." said Ken. Makoto looked into his deep ocean blue eyes.

"I remember seeing those eyes once. Right infront of mine." said Makoto.

"Do you remember this?" asked Ken and then kissed her gently and sweetly. She opened her eyes
once again.

"Yeah. I remember that. Do you still want to hold up to my offer for dinner?" asked Makoto
softly.

"I'm still going to hold it." said Ken. Ken kissed her once more sweetly.

"We have to get you back before we are found." said Ken looking at her once more.

"I already have, Kenneth." said a deep voice. He pulled his head up to see his father standing
there. He had a blonde sort of hair and the same ocean blue eyes.

"Hello King Junku." said Ken holding Makoto up close to him.

"I've seen that hair somewhere before. Ken, could you at least turn the young lady around so that
I can see her?" asked King Junku. Ken turned her around slowly to where she was facing him.

"Oh, the one that takes a ride and sits out in the feild to do her homework. I've never seen a
horse so trained before. You look just like your mother and get your eyes from your father. It's
too bad that the castle got attcked by savage people and they took it over." said King Junku.

"How do you know?" asked Makoto.

"I just got a letter from the people that they're holding the King ransom until they get 100,000
pounds." said King Junku. Makoto turned, ran, and whisled. Blaze came runningstrait for her. She
took the reins in her hands and then got onto the horse where she left ridding off. Ken went and
got onto his horse where her rode off after her. The only thing that she had on her mind was to
get her father free. Soon she got there with Ken on her trail. Here, she jumped off of the horse
and ran into the castle. Strange men looked at her as she ran up the stairs. Finally she came to
a strange man standing strait up and not looking at her.

"Excuse me sir, but do you know where King Jupiter and Queen Jupiter are at the moment? I really
need to see them aright now." said Makoto. The man looked down at her.

"Follow me." said the man as they walked off. Soon they got to the crown room doors where he
opened the door and she walked in and he followed behind her white dress. She looked and saw
it empty with a chair turned so you didn't know if anyone was in here.

"Where's King Jupiter? You said that you would take me to him sir." said Makoto looking at him.

"There is someone here to see you your highness." said the man. The chair turned around to be
a man that was around the age of 19 sitting there with black hair and blue eyes. Makoto turned
around to the guard and put her hand on her hip.

"This isn't a really funny joke no more. That's not my father. He's too young and he looks like
to be someone's brother. Sir, take me to King Jupiter emedently and Queen Jupiter, please." said
Makoto getting angry.

"You're in front of King Jupiter milady." said the man.

"Oh, I guess I'll play along then." said Makoto and turned to walk to the man sitting in the
chair.

"Who are you?" asked the man in the chair.

"You don't reconize your own daughter that you've been seeing for 18 years? I can't believe you
father. I also have to tell you something. I have four months worth of home studies in my saddle
bag that I haven't turned in. That explains all the bad marks. I told you that I did the work
but, I never turned it in. My my my. You look so young. Have you found that the legend about
the fountain of youth is true and I can't beleive that you found it while I was captured. Which
way did your wild horse go? I might want to use the fountain of youth as well." said Makoto with
an ocwoard smile.

"So, you're the Princess of Jupiter." said the man rubbing his chin.

"I have a lot of studies to do, so, may I be excused?" asked Makoto.

"No. I'm also not your father so, get those ideas out of your mind. He's going to have his head
gone in an hour. Then after that, you'll be my bride so that I can rule this Kingdom as my father
always wanted me to do." said the man. Makoto's hand met the skin on his face.

"If you want to kill him, you'll have to go throw me first." said Makoto.

"That's what your mother said before I had her carried away. You don't want to be carried away
don't you?" asked the man.

"I'm going to give you a fight so that your ego is hurt." said Makoto and then whisled. They
heard a whinng and loud hooves on the floor. Then the door burst open and in came a black horse
that came over to where Makoto was standing. On top of Blaze, Ken was sitting with his hand on
his sword.

"Mako-chan, your Kingdom will soon be safe upon my word. Get on your horse and leave to where King
Junku has an army of men ready." said Ken as he jumped off and put her on.

"I just can't leave you here." said Makoto.

"Go, this fight is an old thing that I need to take care of and not a lady like yourself." said
Ken.

"Alright. Be careful." said Makoto and then the horse slowly walked away.

"Now, Jason, you won't live this one." said Ken pulling out his sword.

"You're going to live this one so that you can see me and that girl, that I see that you like,
are married, today." said Jason.

"She's only 18 and still in school. It wouldn't look good for you and a eighteen year old girl
with a twentyone year old man that knows more than her. It just wouldn't be right and you know
that." said Ken as they started to fight.

"Hey, I really don't care. Just as long as I get the crown and the girl." said Jason.

"You won't get her." said Ken.

"I'll just see about that. The white dress that she had will do fine for the wedding." said
Jason with a smile.

"She's not for you." said Ken.

"Hey, Kane, did you get her?" asked Jason.

"She's in the library where the guards are looking after all the doors." said Kane.

"Take her to the church and I'll meet you there." said Jason.

"Yes sir. If we can get her before the horse gets us." said Kane and then left.

"See ya." said Jason and then ran locking the door behind him that kept Ken in.

"This is not good." said Ken and then looked for a window. He then escaped out a window...

"Hey, let me go!" said Makoto and then she was pulled into the church.

"Hey, preist, we need a wedding surmone in a couple minutes." said Kane.

"In your dreams." said Makoto as she was pushed into a seat. The priest came and gave her a vail.

"You will need this Princess." said the Priest and gave her a wink. She noticed a note with it.
Quickly she opened it and read it. Slowly she stuffed it in one of her pockets.

"I'm here." said Jason coming into the church. She put her hand on her forehead.

"Does anyone have any bobby pins?" asked Makoto putting her hair up. A man came out and gave her
some and then went away.

"Hurry up before we get inturpted." said Jason.

"I don't want my hair to get ruined and it has to be perfact." said Makoto as she continued to
put up her hair up in a stylish way and then went over and checked in a mirror.

"Are you finished yet?" asked Jason.

"There's a bump in it." said Makoto smiling in the mirror.

"Why don't you just braid it?" asked Jason folding his arms.

"I don't feel like it. Plus, I only let my mom do it because I like her style." said Makoto
checking her hair again. Jason cam eup behind her.

"I've been watching you for sometime and I know that you braid your own hair to get it out of
your way, and you don't care about your hair. You're just stalling." said Jason.

"Echi." said Makoto at a low voice.

"What did you say?" asked Jason.

"Nothing." said Makoto with an inoccent look as she pulled out the bobby pins and ruffled her
hair a bit to make it strait.

"Come on. We have to get married." said Jason.

"I don't know who you think that are going to marry but it certainly is not me." said Makoto.

"Yes. It's you and there's not thing that you ccan do about it." said Jason.

"Wait and see." said Makoto walking away and sitting down as she pulled out a book from a pew.
Jason snapped his finger and her book was tooken away, and then she was pulled up to the front.
The preist was talking and Makoto was looking around the place at all of the pictures.

"Damn!" came a voice.

"No cursing in a church. It's not allowed in here. If you're going to curse, take it outside."
said Makoto suddenly that made them jump.

"Thank you." said the preist. He then kept on talking. Suddenly, when she opened her eyes, there
were some blue ones right in front of her.

"Ahh!" screamed Makoto as she backed up as her hand was over her heart. She then looked up to
see him standing there.

"What?" asked Jason.

"You scare people by just appearing right there!" said Makoto.

"He said to kiss the bride. It's not my fault that you weren't paying attention. Do you always
do that?" asked Jason.

"It's a habbit when nothing exciting is happening. Oh, look at the time, I'm late for class. I
better get going. Maybe this could get done some other time when I don't have such a busy
schdule." said Makoto as she slwoly made her way for the door.

"Once you start something, you have to finish it." said Jason.

"Once I start something, I can't finsh it until I'm made to." said Makoto and then a guard
grabbed her from behind.

"It's not that bad." said Jason.

"I have to get to class." said Makoto.

"You have no more class from now on." said Jason.

"I'm freaking 18 years old and I'm not old enough to get married by the order of the law in this
Kingdom so, you have to wait until I'm 19 years of age. It's on page 456 number 22. The books of
laws is right to your left." said Makoto quickly. He turned and read it after looking it up.

"Damn! Why did he do that? This ruins it all." said Jason.

"No cursing in the church! He did it because of people like you." said Makoto.

"I'll come back in one year for you so, you better be ready! Lets go." said Jason and then the
guards let her go. They all then walked out the door.

"Wait!" said Makto as she ran to the door.

"What?" asked Jason turning around.

"You never told me where King and Queen Jupiter are." said Makoto as she stoped and the wind blew
her hair. He gave a little sigh and then threw the keys to her.

"Cell 5 door two." said Jason and then they left. Ken ran up from behind her.

"Are you alright?" asked Ken.

"I love you God!" said Makoto.

"Are you alright?" asked Ken.

"Yes. I'm fine and I'm glad that I remembered that law." said Makoto.

"What law?" asked Ken.

"Page 456 number 22. A Princess or Prince is not aloud to be wed until they have finished school,
and they are 19. This law is overruled by if one has agreed using a written agreement of being
botrothed." stated Makoto as she paused inbetween sentences to think.

"So you can study." said Ken.

"I have to write that down on a peice of paper for my law exam that is in an hour." said Makoto.

"I've got to go and I hope that you get your Kingdom under control again." said Ken and then
kissed her good-bye and then left.

.....................................Four Years Later...........................................

A black horse rode up to the battle feild where an army was getting settled as they just had came
up. A man with brown hair, brown beard, with a crown on his head sat there on his horse by a man
that looked firmiluar. This man had black hair that was pretty long and blue eyes. She then rode
over to be behind them without them noticing.

"Do you think that this will be a victorious war?" asked the black haired man.

"Of course it will be victorious. King Jupiter is the meanest, roughest, toughest man when comes
to war and can beat any battle with a hand behind his back!" said the girl behind them. The man
with brown hair turned around.

"Milady, what is your name and why are you here? A war is about to come and this is not place for
a lady." said King Jupiter with a wink.

"King Jupiter, my name is Princess Makoto and I just came back from a long journy from my school
that I go to. I have finished and I really couldn't wait to see you!" said Makoto as serious as
she could with a little giggle.

"Oh, come here." said King Jupiter and then she pulled up next to him and recived a hug.

"I'm so glad to be home to stay papa." said Makoto.

"Did they send a message with you?" asked King Jupiter.

"Could I go out and read the treedy?" asked Makoto.

"Message and then you can go." said King Jupiter. Makoto pulled a note out of her empty saddle
bag and handed it to him. Then she pulled out a package and handed it to him.

"They gave there many thanks for me coming to there school so, they gave you this little gift
as a thank-you." siad Makoto and then rode off to where the men where going.

"Milady, you must go for a safe distance from this battle." said a guard.

"Papa said I could read the treedy." said Makoto.

"I didn't reconize you for how long your hair is and how much you've grown up from a little 18
year old girl to a now be twentytwo." said a guard.

"My dear sweet James, you know that I wouldn't change my aditude just for you. Besides, I was
hoping that I could meet someone out here." said Makoto as she looked off her horse.

"We're here." said James. They came up to be in front of three men. The first one with short
blonde hair and light green eyes rode around the two.

"They send a women to do a man's job. I remember someone doing that four years ago." said the
man.

"Are you saying that I'm not able to do this job? Why don't you get down off that horse of yours
and I mine and then we'll see if I'm camable of this job." said Makoto.

"I see that you're challenged? Are you going to accept?" asked James.

"I have no time to waste playing an easy little girl games with you." said the man.

"You're not a man. You're afraid that you will loose to a girl by the likes of me." said Makoto.

"Alright. What do you have in mind?" asked the man.

"Well, Alex, I want to play with my papa's sword for a bit so, I want to sword fight." said
Makoto pulling out a sword that had a beautiful handle of gold and leaves twined around it. In
the middle, it had a capital "K" and "J" on it.

"So, lets play." said Alex as they both dismounted off of there horses. Makoto cracked her
nuckles and then picked up her sword. Then they both started to fight.

"Hey Alex, what girl have you seen in these years that you like so far?" asked Makoto raising an
eye brow.

"Why should I tell you?" asked Alex.

"Was she beautiful?" asked Makoto.

"Yeah. It was this girl with long brown hair that was to her knees, green emrald eyes, and a nice
green rose ring with a green heart in the middle." said Alex.

"You mean, like this ring?" asked Makoto showing it to him.

"Where did you get that?" asked Alex.

"Thanks for the compliments Alex." said Makoto with a wink.

"Princess Makoto!" said Alex.

"You're cute looking yourself as well since the last time I saw you but, wow! You look way better
without all of that blood on you." said Makoto.

"You tricked me into talking didn't you?" asked Alex.

"I managed to survive to be around all of those well mannered people. I'm lucky that I passed and
I never want to go back again! They try to kill you with acting sweet and nice but, I like the
wild side better!" said Makoto.

"Are you going to read the treedy or what?" asked Alex. Makoto stuck her tounge out at him and
put down her sword.

"Tie! I'm getting too old for this." joked Makoto and then they got on to there horses.

"Here." said James handing it to her.

"Utham! You have two choices that I will be presenting to you. The first choice is to surrender
your land to the King Jupiter, which is a stupid idea and I think that this war should go on if
that's the case. Or, you could pay taxes for the rest of your life. Utham, what you will do by
fighting is to fight for your freedom as people." said Makoto.

"King Jupiter can shove his treedy up his..." started Alex.

"I'll just tell him that then." said Makoto.

"Let the war begin." said Alex and then they all started on there ways.

"What did they say about the treedy?" asked King Jupiter as Makoto handed it to him.

"He said that you can shove this treedy up your..." started Makoto.

"Makoto!" said King Jupiter.

"Here." said Makoto handing his sword back to him.

"How did you get that?" asked King Jupiter putting it away.

"I didn't just learn manners." said Makoto as they watched the war.

"Oh no." said King Jupiter.

"So, who's this gentle man that you have here that you never said a word about?" asked Makoto
raising an eye brow.

"His name is Brent and he was sent by your grandfather to come and see that the castle is in well
condition, being ruled fairly, and the wars are a bloody as ever." said King Jupiter.

"Brent, watch the man with blonde hair that is pretty tall. You'll see all the blood really
sqiurt every where." said Makoto.

"How do you know that?" asked King Jupiter.

"Old friend." said Makoto. They watched the battle go on as the other side became closer to them.

"We better go." said King Jupiter.

"I agree with you." said Brent.

"Go ahead. I'm going to watch a little bit more." said Makoto.

"No. You're going to come with us." said King Jupiter.

"I'll be fine. Do you want me to hit both of your horses out of control?" asked Makoto.

"Fine! You better be home before dinner is surved." said King Jupiter and then they rode away.
Finally the men where gone and up came the other side with Alex in the lead.

"So, we meet again Princess." said Alex with a smile.

"Yes, I know that we meet again Alex." said Makoto.

"I have a feeling that you wanted to get caught on purpose." said Alex.

"So, what if I did?" asked Makoto.

"Follow me. You have just been captured." said Alex.

"It didn't take a guenis to figure that out." said Makoto and then followed them to the castle.

"Alex, I thought you said that you wouldn't do that again four years ago after she left." said
a man with short brown hair and ocean blue eyes.

"That was four years ago." mumbled Makoto. He came over to her on his horse.

"What did you say?" asked the man. Makoto gave a sigh.

"What I said was that, that was four years ago." said Makoto.

"Sassy little thing aren't you?" asked the man.

"Ken, why don't you two go and talk for a while? You need to talk as soon as possible." said
Alex.

"Um, why?" asked Ken.

"You'll soon find out." said Alex with a wink.

"I don't like that wink but, oh well. Lets go for a walk like Alex suggested." said Ken and then
they went for a ride.

"Why did he want us to go on a ride?" asked Ken after a while of silence.

"Stop the horse and get down." said Makoto.

"Alright." said Ken and then both of them got down.

"Could you come here for a moment?" asked Makoto. Ken walked over to where she was standing and
stood right infront of her. She looked up and then flung her arms around his neck.

"Four years is just too long to be gone from here Ken. I've missed you so much and that place
just wasn't the greatest." said Makoto.

"Mako-chan?" asked Ken pulling her back to look at her.

"I told you I wouldn't be gone forever." said Makoto.

"I'm so glad that you came back. Where did you go?" asked Ken.

"I had to go to manners school." said Makoto.

"Did you learn anything new from it?" asked Ken.

"No." said Makoto.

"That's my girl. You've grown up and your hair has also grown with your height." said Ken.
