Hewwo minna-chan!! ::stretches:: I am back from a much
needed break from writing
fanfics. My first priority is to get all the revisions under hand before too
many people get
used to the old version. Now, this story was subtly good, alot of people liked
it, but, I did
not like how I wrote it, so again, I am revising. This still will be a Sailor
Moon/Ranma/Fushigi Yuugi crossover, except, Mamoru and Akane are not dead
anymore. It's too complicated with them being dead. Anyway, here is the new
prologue.
Also, thanks to all you Sailor Moon/Fushigi Yuugi crossover authors, you
inspired me to
get off my lazy butt and get to work on this, as well as all the people who
commented on
it.

I Wish (An Angel In Disguise) - What Started It All

"I can't believe I failed again," grumbled Usagi, as she walked
dejectedly next to her best
friends, Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo.

"You should have studied harder," reprimanded Akane.

"Don't be so down on her Akane. Plus, Usagi has been so tired studying all
the time for
her exams" spoke Ranma in Usagi's defense.

"I know. But Usagi, don't work yourself too much. I know how much your
mother
wants you to get into Mugen, but you have to remember not to stress yourself.
Especially
on your birthday" smiled Akane

Usagi nodded. "Oh yeah, you guys are coming over to my party later on
tonight, right?"

Ranma and Akane both nodded in unison.

Soon the trio departed their separate ways to their own homes. Usagi entered
her home,
and began to look for her parents.

"I'm home!" She yelled.

Her mother soon appeared. Something hidden behind her back, but she paid no
attention
to it, and smiled at her mother.

"Welcome home Usagi-chan. I know your party isn't till later, but, I
thought I'd give you
your present a little early" The hidden object behind her back was brought
forth, it was a
rectangle object wrapped in pink bunny rabbit paper.

Usagi accepted it, and then embraced her mother. "Arigatou Mama!!"

Usagi then raced upstairs and plopped down on her bed. She tossed her school
bag aside
and unwrapped the present in an exceeding rate. After the last piece was
removed, she
noticed a tainted book, which read: The Universe of The Four Gods.

She opened the book and glanced over it. "The Universe of the Four
Gods" Usagi opened
the book, and read the prologue. "This book is about a young girl from
another world
who gathers the seishi and summons Suzaku, granting her wish"

Usagi scoffed lightly. "Grant a wish? Yeah right. Sounds like something
from a fairy tale"
Just as she finished her sentence, a red light illuminated from the book. Usagi
had to
shield her eyes in order not to be blinded. As soon as the light died down, the
book fell on
to the bed, the book opened to the first page, Usagi gone.

Life was so dull. Being in the Inner Seraglio had no fun at all. The emperor
hardly ever
looked his way. Was it because he didn't look good enough like his sister? He
couldn't
understand it. Which brought him to his next question. Why did he want the
Emperor's
attention so much anyway? It's not like he was gay or anything? Well, at least
he didn't
think so. He slouched slightly in the chair. He was sure to get scowled for
this, and he
was wearing the kimono as well.

Then, out of nowhere, something landed on his head, hard. He fell out of his
chair, and
then he looked up angrily to see a blonde haired girl, in strange clothing, and
the most
unique hairstyle he'd ever seen. Worry was evident in her blue eyes; she now
stood
apologizing to him.

He rubbed his sore head. "Yeah, next to watch where you land odango"
he stated.

Her expression then changed to anger. "MY NAME IS USAGI!! USAGI TSUKINO!!
GOT IT?!?!?" she shouted.

He could swear his ears were ringing. "Alright, I got it. My names
Kang-lin. But, you
can call me Nuriko" he responded.

Footsteps could be heard, and two women in kimonos came in. "Lady
Kang-lin, are you
alright? We heard shouts" Then both gasped to see the unknown person
standing in front
of their fallen lady.

"Who are you?" demanded one of them.

Usagi stepped back slightly. Kang-lin, or rather Nuriko, got up and brushed
himself off.
"It's alright, she's a guest," he stated.

The one who had asked the question quickly bowed. "So sorry my lady"

Nuriko brushed it off. "It's alright. You may leave" The two women did
as told.

"Um...thanks. And, sorry about yelling at you before Miss. Nuriko"
spoke Usagi
apologetically. She looked at Nuriko from head to toe. 'Wow, she's really
beautiful' Usagi
thought to herself.

Nuriko winced slightly at the word Miss. "Please don't call me Miss,
Nuriko will do," he
said. He then looked at her again, her outfit still strange to him. "Where
are you from?"

"Tokyo, Japan" she answered.

Nuriko had never heard of any place. "Toi-ki-yo? Never heard of it"

"Tokyo is pretty famous, I wonder..." Usagi trailed off in thought.
'The last thing I
remember, is reading the book's prologue, then, a red light illuminated from
it...and...' A
shocked expression covered her face. 'No...I can't.... It just couldn't
happen...Am I in the
book?'

"Nuriko, could you please tell me where I am?" questioned Usagi out
loud.

"Konan Empire. You are in my quarters at the moment" answered Nuriko.

"It must be..." whispered Usagi to herself.

Usagi made her way to the door. She then turned to Nuriko, with a smile on her
face.
"Thanks, but I must be on my way"

"Thanks? And on you're way to where?" Nuriko reached out and grabbed
Usagi's wrist.
Usagi winced, the grip was so firm.

Nuriko cursed, he forgot about his overwhelming strength and quickly released
his hold on
her. "Sorry. But, you aren't familiar with these parts. I should at least
stay here for the
time being"

Usagi shook her head. "I have to go find my way home" she responded.

Nuriko sighed; this girl was certainly being difficult. "Fine, but, I'm
not going to let
anything happen to you. I'll help you. Just wait here as I go change"

Usagi nodded, Nuriko went off to go change, and Usagi waited patiently. Soon,
Nuriko
reappeared in different cloths. Right then, Nuriko didn't look too feminine
anymore.

Usagi then started to wonder what gender Nuriko really was. Right about now, it
was
getting really hard to tell. She decided not to ask, seeing how it would be
embarrassing to
ask, and then would be wrong to think Nuriko was a guy.

"Alright, ready?" asked Nuriko. Usagi nodded.

"Hello Akane, Ranma" greeted Ikuko to the two martial artists.

Akane smiled towards the elder woman. "Hello Ikuko-san, is Usagi-chan
home?"

Ikuko nodded. "Hai, she is up in her room, looking through the gift I
bought her"

"Arigato, will just go upstairs and give her our birthday wishes"
spoke Akane, as she and
Ranma walked past Ikuko and headed upstairs towards Usagi's room.

Ranma rattled the door. "Hey Usa, you asleep?" When he received no
answer, he
cautiously opened the door. Akane and Ranma peered in. Usagi was nowhere in
sight.

They both entered the room, and began to look around. Akane saw the book that
was
settled onto the bed. She knew Usagi rarely kept books, so this must have been
the gift
her mother gave. She saw the page that it was opened to, and began to read.

"A girl fell on the Lady Kang-lin. Lady Kang-lin was shocked to see the
strange girl with
blonde pigtails standing before her apologizing. Then Lady Kang-lin called her
odango,
upsetting the young girl greatly, and she yelled at her, all the while
introducing herself.
Lady Kang-lin also introduced herself, giving the name Nuriko..." she
gasped soon in
realization.

"Is.Usagi in the book...?" questioned Ranma in awe.

'This is too weird, not only is Usagi gone, but, Ranma is catching on quick'
thought
Akane.

"It..seems like it," stammered Akane is disbelief.

"What do we do?" asked Ranma

***

"Wow, this city sure is big," commented Usagi, a smile on her face.

"Yes, but, you have to watch it. Believe it or not, their are alot of
thieves around here"
warned Nuriko.

Usagi began to worry. "Then, who is going to protect us...?"

"Don't worry, I'm here with you" assured Nuriko

Usagi was all that reassured, but trust Nuriko; seeing that he was the only
person she
could trust at the moment. Usagi's stomach then growled. She blushed. Nuriko,
thankfully, didn't notice. Usagi looked around for some food, but couldn't see
any. But,
she definitely could smell something. Since Nuriko was pre-occupied looking
around,
Usagi easily snuck away. She came near the food, she had no idea what it looked
like, but
it smelled delicious. She didn't notice the drool coming from her mouth.

"If you want one, buy one. Don't just drool all over it" scowled the
owner.

Usagi snapped out of her gaze, she pulled out a one hundred yen coin, and
purchased a
round biscuit type food. She munched on it, until it was completely devoured.
While she
was chewing, the owner was inspecting the weird coin.

"THIS ISN'T MONEY!!" he yelled in outrage. Usagi yelped and ran away.

"IT IS! IT'S MONEY FROM MY WORLD!!" she shouted as she continued her
run.

***

Nuriko snapped out of his thoughts as he remembered that he was hear to help
Usagi find
a way home, but, in fact, he didn't even know how to exactly do that.

"Hey Usagi--" he cut himself off when he noticed she was gone. His
eyes bulged, and
began to look as to where she could be.

***

"Not only am I lost, but, I don't know where Nuriko is" Usagi sighed
in self-pity. Her feet
were now aching now. She sat down, and gave them a rest. Where was she to go
from
here? She looked around her surroundings. She noticed two guys staring at her,
and she
didn't like the way they were staring at her. She then got up and began to walk
away,
making sure not to make direct eye contact with them. Soon, the two men began
to
follow her. She quickened her pace, trying to out distance them. They also
quickened
their pace. Soon, she found herself trying to outrun them, but they also ran,
and were
gaining on her.

She did the only thing she could do. Scream. "Aii!! Help!!" she
yelled. No one heard
her. The place she was in was completely deserted. The two men grabbed her. She
gave
another shout, but one of them slapped her.

"Shut up!"

"She has very strange cloths"

"Yeah, but, she's very pretty. We could fetch a good price for her. After
we have a little
fun with her"

Usagi widened her eyes in fear.

"Someone! Help! Nuriko!!" screamed Usagi.

"Didn't I tell you to shut up!?" He was about to slap her again, but
someone caught his
wrist.

"Stop it, both of you," stated a young man. The other thug took out a
knife, and prepared
to attack him. The new young man stopped the other with his free hand, and
sends him
down for the count, to the other; he twisted his arm to the breaking point. The
dashing
young man let go of him, as he slumped to ground in pain.

Usagi, released from the men's' grips, looked at her rescuer. He had long blue
hair in a
thin ponytail. He also had a symbol...on his forehead.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

Usagi nodded slightly, tears forming in her eyes. Then she launched herself
into the
stranger's arms, and cried into his chest.

"I.... I was...so scared!" she sobbed.

The young man hesitantly wrapped his arms, comforting Usagi. "I know...I'm
here now,"
he cooed softly to her.
