Chapter 7 Picnic of Terror
They ran around the castle to get ready for the picnic while Makoto sat in the kitchen and cooked
all of the food and placed it in a basket. Inside, she placed, a bowl of fruit, a bowl veggies,
little bags of candy for everyone, sandwiches, and of course, some cookies that she had baked
earlier in the morning. Makoto put the cover over the basket after placing in some forks for
everyone. A big mulit colored bow on the top, sealed the basket from anyone opening it. Minako
snuck in the kitchen and behind Makoto.
"Mako-can, you're the greatest!" said Minako giving her a big hug.
"Thanks Minako-can." said Makoto and then sat on the counter and stuffed a cookie in hers and
Minako's mouth. Rei came in and walked over.
"Are you ready Minako-can?" asked Rei. Minako stuffed a cookie in her mouth.
"Yep! Mako-can, Queen Serenity has to go to a meeting so, you'll be here all alone. Make sure
that if there is anything wrong, call us and we'll be there right away. Don't try to fight all
by yourself Mako-can." warned Minako as she picked up the basket and had Rei help her hold it.
"Don't worry, I will and I'll get that story done for you Minako." said Makoto.
"Alright. Thanks and we'll see you Makoto-can." said Minako and then the two left out of the
kitchen. Makoto watched as they left on there way. She thne turned and went back to her computer
where she then begun to type the story that she had promised Minako.... Everyone was setting up
for the picnic after they got everything ready, they decided to play hide and seek. Two hours
had passed and then they ate there lunch.
"Mmmmm. This is the best lunch I have ever eaten." said Eric laying down on his back.
"There's more! Mako-chan packed cookies! I can't believe she slipped them in when she said..."
started Minako.
"Maybe, maybe not, with a grin Minako. She was grinning." said Rei.
"Anyone able to stuff down anymore?" asked Minako with the cookies in hand.
"Not me." said the guys, Serenity, and Ami.
"Rei-chan, we get them all to ourselves." said Minako as she started stuffing one into her mouth.
"Hey! Save some for me." said Rei.
"No! Cookies, MINE!!!!!" said Minako and then started to run while Rei chased her as she shoved
cookies into her mouth... Makoto found herself on a cold floor where that same man that she saw
on Jupiter was standing before her. She remembered that they called him, Prince Cieux.
"You're awake. That's good." said Prince Cieux.
"What do you want from me?" asked Makoto.
"Mako-chan, Mako-chan, Mako-chan. You're the only one that can understand me and help me get what I
need from the castle. You're smart and you know that you can get it as easy as a peice of cake. I
know that you can." said Prince Cieux.
"Answer the question." said Makoto.
"I want you because you are the only key to get it. All I'm asking for is you to get me a little
something." said Prince Cieux.
"What is that?" asked Makoto folding her arms.
"This crystal." said Prince Cieux showing her a picture of Princess Serenity's a heart crystal.
Makoto started to laugh.
"You want me to that? You're such a crazy fool if you think that I would go and get that. I know
what you can do with it if you get it in your evil hands." said Makoto laughing.
"Do it or else your pretty will be harmed." said Prince Cieux.
"You leave himout of this!" said Makoto.
"Oh, I'm so scared." said Prince Cieux.
"You won't touch Princess Serenity." said Makoto.
"May be, yours and your pretty boys will do." said Prince Cieux.
"I don't care. Just as long as you don't get Princess Serenity's." said Makoto.
"Oh, such a tough one I see. I'll give you time to think about this. I will come back and I want
you to tell me your choice." said Prince Cieux and then the room disappeared. Makoto woke up to
hear a crash outside. She looked out the window and saw 10 yohmas was outside. She picked herself
up off the floor and went over to her communicator.
"Ken here for Minako at the moment." said Ken.
"Tell them to get back to the castle. There are 10 yohmas now comming into the castle." said
Makoto-can as she saw the yohmas go threw the door.
"Mako-can, we're on our way." said Ken and then hung up.
"What's wrong with Mako-can?" asked Ami.
"10 yohmas are in the castle, now lets go." said Ken and then started running toward the castle.
Makoto's door bust open and the 10 yohmas came in before she could get to her pen.
"Mako-can, your mind still isn't made up to get the crystal so, I guess you'll have to do so that
I can get it." said Prince Cieux.
"What do you mean?" asked Makoto as she kept her eyes on the yohmas.
"I'll get her crystal even if my life depends on it." said Prince Cieux and then the yohmas
attacked her...
"Ken, wait up! You don't know what you're going into. It might be a trap." said Venus running
after him to the castle.
"I don't care! I have to make sure Mako-can's alright." said Ken and then burst open the castle
door. Ken ran into the opening and into the middle of the floor.
"Mako-can! Where are you?" asked Ken with his sword drawn.
"Are you looking for her? I warned you that I would get one of the Sailor Senshi and get what I
wanted." said Prince Cieux without being seen.
"What have you done with her?" asked Ken.
"Ken, we'll find her. Don't worry." said Mercury as they all where there.
"You say not to worry? Mako-can could be dead or even hurt right now and it's all my fault for
not being here when she needed me. I'm going to find her even if I die trying." said Ken and
then turned away. Prince Cieux appeared with his cape on.
"Are you looking for, her?" asked Prince Cieux as he moved his cape to show Makoto laying on the
cold ground with her long hair on her face.
"Mako-can!" said Ken running for her. He was stopped by hitting a shield that blew hime back to
the ground.
"You reconize, this?" asked Prince Cieux pulling out a heart crystal. Mercury typed on her
computer.
"That's Mako-can's heart crystal that he has. If we don't get it back in her in an hour, she'll
die." said Mercury.
"I'm not waiting. Mars Flame Sniper!" said Mars as she shot and arrow at him. All it did was
hit the sheild and turn into nothing.
"Venus Wink Chain Sword!" said Venus as a sword hit the sheild but, still did nothing.
"The only way that we can break throw the sheild is if we all attack at the same time." said
Mercruy putting her visor away.
"Mercury Rapscity."
"Mars Flame Sniper."
"Venus Love and Beauty Shock!" All of there powers hit the sheild and nothing happened.
"World Shaking!"
"Deep Submirge!"
"Deadly Scream!" All of the attacks hit the sheild and it broke.
"Who are you?" asked Prince Cieux.
"How dare you take Makoto's heart crystal!I am Sailor Neptune and by the powers of the ocean, I
will comand you to surrender yourself." said Neptune.
"I am Knight Uranus and you better hand over that heart crystal before things start to get
rough." said Uranus.
"I am the Sailor Senshi that holds the gate of time. My name is Sailor Pluto. You have distroyed
the time line in an unexplainible way. I will get you for this." said Pluto.
"I'm so scared. You won't get Mako-can back until I get what I want. I want the Impearal Silver
Crystal." said Prince Cieux.
"Moon Cosmic Power." came a voice and then Prince Cieux was no more. the crystal was going
slowly to the ground and Neptune grabbed it before it hit the ground.
"Is seems that we might be too late. It seems to be giving off very little light any more." said
Neptune. Venus turned her over to see her slightly breathing at all.
"Quick, put it in her." said Mars. Neptune put it in her but her breathing remaind the same.
"Do you think that it might have hit this time already Pluto?" asked Neptune.
"We may have been too late and she might die." said Uranus.
"Can we do anything for her?" asked Ken slwoly. The outers turned to him slowly. Knight Uranus
walked over and put his hand on Ken's shoulder.
"We better leave for a talk." said Uranus and then they left. Queen Serenity walked down the
stairs.
"I have enough power left to send you all to a new life on your Kingdoms and not to be on the
moon anymore. You will then be able to live up and grow up as Queens of your castle living a
wonderful life." said Queen Serenity.
"So, we're all depending on Mako-can for our future to be unfolded?" asked Venus.
"Yes. Now we have to get her to her room." said Queen Serenity. They slowly carried her to her
room where they lay her down. Minako, Rei, and Ami sat by her side while the others went to
go and talk. Makoto opened her eyes slowly to see Minako sitting next to her.
"Why are you so sad Minako?" asked Makoto.
"Mako-can, are you alright?" asked Minako.
"I just feel very tired and that's all." said Makoto.
"I hope that you feel better soon." said Minako.
"Thank you. I got that story done for you. It's in your mailbox. I hope that you check it and
tell me how much you like it." said Makoto.
"Alright." said Minako. Ken walked into the room and then the three left the room. He then
walked over and sat down next to her. He took her hand in his and bent his head away.
"What's wrong with me?" asked Makoto.
"I should have been here for you and none of this would have happened." said Ken as a tear came
down his face.
"Don't blame yourself for what happened to me. I just need to know what's wrong with me." said
Makoto.
"You may not make it for tomorrow." said Ken slowly.
"What will hapen after that?" asked Makoto.
"Queen Serenity will send all of us to our planets for a new life to live." said Ken.
"Any memory of this?" asked Makoto.
"No." said Ken slowly and turned his head away. Makoto slid her hand across his face and turned
his head back toward her.
"Don't worry, I'll always be with you and you know that I will always love you." said Makoto.
"Yes, and you will always know that I will always love you." said Ken and gave her there last
kiss. Ken gave her a ring. It had a green rose on it with a green heart in the middle. He placed
it on her engagement finger.
"What's this for?" asked Makoto.
"Remember me." said Ken. Makoto placed a gold necklass with a small gold heart around his neck.
"Never forget me as well." said Makoto softly.
"You look tired so, I'll let you rest." said Ken.
"Alright. I'll see you in the future, hopefully. You better look me up at the castle you know."
said Makoto softly.
"Alright. I'll see you." said Ken. He kissed her one last time and then left... At around late
that night, they found out the news. Queen Serenity gathered all of them up in her room.
