Chapter 3

One small mess can determine summer

"Laurie!!!" I yelled.

"What??" she yells back.

Some twist of fate I was having. Supposedly this world was going to freeze over, but... well, fate gave mercy and didn't. Or so the Legends say. Or maybe Laurie didn't read it right. Or maybe something happened in the past. Anyway,it's been um..a decade after it was supposed to freeze. I think.

"I'm going shopping in London. Don't worry about me." I closed the door, much to her surprise; she cursed loudly. I went down the street and into a store.

"Setsuna!!" I yelled.

Setsuna waved and smiled. "Jen!"

She's tall, tanned and had green hair.

"Setsuna, do you have the Legends? I mean..."

"Yeah, I do." She gave me the sheet. I skimmed it.

"What ever happened to Tuxedo Mask?"

"Well, from what I heard was that he was killed. In battle."

"Ok...Then why didn't this world freeze?"

She looked at me. "Youre right... it didnt freeze. Then...someone messed up this reality."

I gave it back to her. "Setsuna...didn't you say that you guarded the time gates?"

"I think so...or Laurie must've mentioned it, yeah."

"Well then,I'm going to fix it."

Setsuna led me to the gates. Even in my morphed state, I was cold.

"Maybe you should come with me,"I said.

"Alright." She opened the door and went through. "Come on, its safe."

I stepped in and saw their past. "So where did he get killed?"

"Here, I think."

"Can't I intervene?"

"Maybe, if were not seen."

"Alright." I walked behind a bush, wand ready.

"There it goes!" Setsuna said.

I yelled, "Taurus halitation Attack!", which blasted it away. Then I felt ripples go through the air. "Setsuna! What's happening?"

"Reality's been changed!"

She disappeared. I looked around me. "See ya." I shrinked and fell asleep, deserved for centuries...

Until that Laurie revived us...

NOTE: this is a damn well short story... I guess I like ends fast and swift...
