CHAPTER SIX: TRUTHS REVEALED

“Teal…” Kai said softly, “Do you think he'll be alright?”

She looked at Teal.

“Don't worry about it Kai, he'll be fine. He's not one to do anything too dangerous.”

“I don't know, he looked really scary a little while ago, and ever since Kama died Yuki's been a little unstable at times. Just think what's going to happen know that he's fighting the person that killing his brother.”

Kai looked doubtful and worried.

Teal put his hand on her shoulder.

“Everything's gonna be fine.” He said with a big grin on his face.

She gave a small grin in return but still couldn't help but worry about Yuki.

Kama lifted himself up from pool of blood just in time to see the sword plunge into the ground where he was lying.

“Holy shit, I almost died that time.” He chuckled as he spoke.

“You're not even taking this seriously, you idiot”

“Ha, you expect me to take someone like you seriously. You look like and idiot, just look at your outfit, its hideous, and trust me white is definitely not your colour.”

Kama put his hand on his hip, clearly mocking the X-law.

“Well I should probably stop playing around and finish you off, I have some people to go and find.”

Kama lunged towards the X-law and was about to stab his ice sword through his chest. He was about to finish him off when the X-law pulled something out of his jacket and aimed his arm towards Kama. Kama felt something against chest and in a split second heard a loud bang. A searing pain was in Kama's chest and he fell to the floor. Kama had been shot in the chest.

When he hit the floor the blade of ice shattered. The boy walked over to Kama and stood over him. He stomped his foot down on Kama's hand, making it bleed.

The X-law walked a few steps away and the arch angel, Michel stabbed his sword down through Kama's stomach for the final blow of the fight.

Kama coughed up blood and was still lying on the floor with a sword through his stomach.

The blade was violently removed from his stomach and the X-law headed towards the door.

“Not such a smart ass now are you.”

He walked out the door leaving Kama for dead. Kama was lying on his back in the pool of his own blood with a massive sword shaped hole through him.

He was nearly dead and breathing heavily.

“God…damn…X-law.”

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

“I'm sorry Yuki; I guess you're on your own now…”

Kama was slowly slipping away, his breathing was getting slower. The snow outside was still falling, but the storm was over. The snow flakes were falling through the open roof, lightly falling onto his face.

Kama was dead.

“Are you going to fight me or just stand there posing?”

A breeze swept through the empty street blowing Hao's cape making it billow out behind him, making him look ominous.

Yuki slowly and carefully shifted his feet, and then suddenly lunged towards Hao.

As Yuki was running towards him, Hao slowly picked up the hooksword that Yuki had thrown to the ground earlier and held it out in front of him, ready to counter Yuki's attack.

Yuki brought his blade down on the weapon in Hao's outstretched hand. The weapons clashing together made a thunderous crack, and explosion of light and ice shards.

Hao dug his foot into the ground and pushed Yuki away from him. As Yuki stumbled backwards from the force of the shove, Hao kicked him in the side of his ribs, a few inches under his arm.

The force of Hao's kick was so powerful that it threw Yuki several feet back.

A cloud of smoke appeared where Yuki landed.

“*cough* *cough*”

“You'd better just stay down, I might end up accidentally killing you if you keep blindly throwing yourself at me like that.” Hao said, holding the hooksword by his side.

“I won't stop until I avenge my brother's death by killing you.”

“You still think it was me who killed Kama-kun, don't you?”

“What?” Yuki sounded angered but also intrigued.

“Never mind, I'm sure you wouldn't be interested anyway. Shall we continue?”

Yuki got up from the ground and lunged towards Hao.

He leapt into the air with amazing speed and agility. He flipped in midair and brought his weapon down on Hao with impressive force and power.

Another flash and crack resulted from the attack and Yuki was thrown to the ground once again, this time however, he landed on his feet.

As soon as he hit the ground he crouched to his knees and rolled on the ground to Hao's back and swept his weapon upwards. But Hao was fast enough to block that attack as well.

The two blades got hooked together by the tip at the top and Hao pulled Yuki in closer to him.

“I'll tell you a secret Yuki-kun; I'm not the one who killed your brother.”

“Yeah right, if you're not the one, then who was?”

“Hmm, tell me, why is it that you join the shaman fight, was it to find out who killed Kama-kun or was it just to get the power needed to avenge his death?”

Yuki gave him and evil glare.

“Calm down, Yuki-kun, I was just trying to make some conversation. Anyway the one that killed your brother are the X-laws so maybe you should consider taking your anger out on them.”

“I don't believe you; I know it was you who killed him.”

Hao sighed

“Fine believe what you want, I just thought I would tell you who really did it.”

Yuki was getting annoyed at Hao's ramblings.

Yuki darted towards Hao and with incredible force, stabbed his hooksword towards Hao's chest. The blade was only an inch away from Hao's chest when he sidestepped to avoid the attack.

Yuki lost his balance and began to fall forwards slightly.

Hao reached over and grabbed Yuki's already burnt wrist and pulled him back up so he was standing on his feet for an instant, until Hao pulled Yuki's arm upwards so his feet were now above the ground.

Hao was still holding the hooksword that Yuki had thrown to the ground earlier, and he used it to stab Yuki right though the center of his stomach, breaking some of his ribs.

Over half of the weapon was through Yuki's stomach and out his back. Hao was still holding him above the ground by his wrist.

Hao grinned and slowly drove the blade farther though Yuki's stomach.

Yuki was restraining the urge to scream out in pain.

“Oh and one more thing Yuki-kun, if you do want to get revenge for Kama-kun's death, I suggest you join my team. The only way you'll have enough power to be able to obliterate the X-laws is if you join up with me.”

Yuki coughed up blood in an attempt to speak.

“I'll…kill you… before I ever….join you.”

Hao chuckled

“Well if that's how you feel…”

Hao drove the blade deep enough into Yuki's stomach that even the handle of the blade was almost puncturing his skin. He then twisted the blade and Yuki couldn't help but scream in pain. Hao then brutally ripped the blade from Yuki's stomach, breaking even more of his ribs, and then threw him to the ground.

“Hmmm maybe that was a little harsh, I didn't mean to kill you but at least you'll die the same way that your brother did.”

Hao threw the bloody hooksword to the ground beside the pool of blood Yuki was lying in. Hao then disappeared in a swirling vortex of flames.

“YUKI!”

Kai and Teal both ran over to Yuki. Kai kneeled on the ground and rolled Yuki over so he was resting his head on her lap.

Kai pulled her sword out from its sheath and cut Yuki's sweater down the middle, took it off of him, and handed it over to Teal.

“I don't think he's breathing,” Kai said frantically, “Hyouchuu!”

Hyouchuu appeared over Yuki, her eyes filled with tears.

“Hyouchuu, you need to freeze his wound or else he'll bleed to death.”

The korropukkur nodded and froze Yuki's stomach wound.

“Oh god, Yuki please don't die.”

Kai was still holding him on her lap and she knew that the ice would soon melt away and Yuki would die if they didn't get him to a hospital.
