Welcome to An Echidna's Promise the first chapter is "The *******" because I don't want to spoil anything now on with the my
fisrt fic.
Voice: Intruder alert! Intruder alert!
*It was just another day for SOnic and Knuckels stopping Eggman the two were the best of freinds and would help each other
until the end.*
Sonic: Eggman's robots no problem.
Knuckles: Don't be so cocky Sonic. You don't know what might happen.
*Robots came from all sides but they were no match for this team of heroes. SOnic used countless homing attacks and Knuckles
showed the power of his fist suddenly an egglike figured appeared in the shadows behind Sonic's back. Knuckles spotted him
but Sonic did not. The figure shot a bullet Knuckles yelled and jumped in the way. Sonic turned around threw Knuckles aside
and was shot in the shoulder area.*
Knuckles: Nooooooooo.
*He grabbed Sonic and pulled him out of the based he rushed him to a hospital When they arrived the doctors immediatle took
him to urgent care the whole gang eventually came and doctors from all over Mobius came to hep the hedgehog.*
Doctor: Sorry we lost there was nothing we could do.
Knuckles: It was all my fault I should've been there.
Espio: Knuckles are you still there.
*The scene rushed to a hospital to a funeral home where millions of people were outside and billions were watching on
television*
(Authors note: the name of this chapter is the funeral I didn't want to spoil and sorry Sonic fans in other fics he will
be alive)
Knuckles:Yeah.
Espio: Well step down other people want to speak about him.
Kn: Yeah just let me finish. It should've been me who died that death. Now the world was stolen of perhaps one of the
greatest who ever lived, and it's my fault. Well what I can do is promise that Eggaman shall die by me or I'll die trying
yo kill him.
*The funeral continued with many freinds talking about how great he was none stood out like the Echidna who watch him die
Tails and Amy took it the hardest. Even Shadow who would not like to admit it missed the blue hero. It was a day that will
live in Infamy.*

In the next five years things went horribly. Eggamn took over the world as well as six chaos emerald thw world no lives
in fear with out their hero. Knuckles managed to get a chaos emerald but just one and he kept the master emerald gaurded
well. Tails, Amy, The Chaotix, Omega, SHadow, Big, Chaos, Tikal, Rouge and of course Knuckles live on Angel Island. Cream
was one of the many sacrifices to the Eggman empire. Knuckles everyday still vows to keep his promise many are starting to
doubt he will ever start to do it. Many attacks on Angel Island have been launched all have failed. The night comes over
and all fall asleep except for knuckles.
*He walked over top the master emerald as he always did for inspiration then it came to him as he saw in the reflection the
six largest bases suddenly it came to him. He had heard many talk of these six bases he finally figured out a plan.*
The morning came soon and everybody was awake and after a small breakfast Knuckles revealed his plan.
Knuckles: Think six huge bases and he has six chaos emeralds. No better place to hide them.
Tails: The radar would show that the emeralds are there.
Omega: Scanning for radar blocker scanning complete. In my calculation there is a huge satelite that is blocking radars.
Vector: That's why there is no sign of any emeralds.
Shadow: Ok what do you plan to do with the bases. Attack? With only us it would be suicide.
Knuckles: Not with proper planning and equipment. Tails can you do it.
Tails: He killed Sonic of course I shall do it. I've been planning an upgrade for Espio's Ninja stars.
Espio: What can you make them do.
Tails: Anything to transform and I can activate bombs that activate when you press a button. Then they will explode on their
next contact.
Knuckles: Brilliant tales and if Espio will Camoflauge for us we can have a great plan.
Espio: I think not I agree with Shadow it will be suicide.
Tails: What do you mean we've handeled every robot storm yet.
Big: He's right we've stopped Eggman befor together we can do it again.
Knuckles: This will be nothing like Ark or the Egg Carrier he has the world this time.
Vector: Everytime it seemed hopeless he has had flaws in his plan. This bases with the emeralds might be the biggest mistake
he ever made.
Amy: No the biggest mistake he made was killind Sonic.
Charmie: Yeah we must do it for Sonic he's saved our butts plenty of times there must besomehting we can do.
Rouge: Sorry to break up this little meeting but a swarm of Eggman's robots are coming this way.
Knuckles: Chaos take Tikal and the Chao to safety. If we do not take the offensive side we will eventually fall defending
anyway. Vector, Shadow, Big, Omega, Rouge, and Espio come with me. Tails take the tower.
*Tails went to a tower with seeking missiles that was designed for all of Eggamn's robots except Omega. Eggman floated to
the island*
Eggman I'm here for the emeralds resistance is futile.
Shadow: that's what you always say what's different about today.
Eggman: You'll pay for that comment. Robots Attack.
* Many robots landed on the Island SHadow grabbed the Chaos emerald and Chaos speared about nine of the harder robots.*
Knuckles: Tails Charmie start firing missiles from you towers.
*They do so and start taking out robots Knuckles was punching out many at a time so was Big. Rouge youse Drill Dive for
some of the underground robots. Omega was Blasting many with the cannon and Shadow and Espio took many out with homing
attack*
Eggamn: You won't get away with this.
Knuckles: Yeah right your robots get easier everytime.
Eggman: Well try this one for size. *Metal Sonic appears and takes out Charmie at first.*
Espio: How dare you.
Shadow: I'll handle that useless bucket of bolts.
*Metal Sonic attacked shadow many time with Shadow easily dodging them SHadow uses a a fire somersault and lands it. Metal
Sonic uses a blaster ray. Shadow then uses Chaos control before anything else is seen SHadow has Metal SOnic's arm in his
hand.*
Shadow: Five years of pure fighting does the body good.
He was right in these five years all of them improved majorely in fighting.
Knuckles: Check on Charmie quickly.

Omega: It is just a scratch Charmie should maintain concisness after a good rest.
Espio: This time he went to far.
Knuckles: SO youre in. Now Espio you will go first undetected and open all doors and take out security.
Espio: I will where are we attacking.
Knuckels: Glad you asked the smallest one is where prison Island once was. After you open doors Myself, Shadow, Big, Vector
Omega, and you will go on an all out attack.
*Suddenly Chaos appears*
Knuckles: Yes you to Now the rest of you will be waiting in tails' plane to pick us up. Tails stock them with bombs. After
were all safe you blow up the island. Our goal is to get the chaos emerald. Chaos you will absorb our only chaos emerald.
Tails you keep the master Emerald with you.
Shadow: WHat do we do with the emeralds if we get the seven.
Knuckles: Me and you turn in to our super forms and kick Eggman's fatass.
Knuckles: In. *Puts his fist out.*
All: In. *Put their fists in with Knuckles*
Knuckles Good we attack tomorrow.
