CHAPTER 3- Races & ice cream

 

We rejoin the sonic team last time we ended with Sonic, Shadow & Scoot running away from a very pissed Tails, Vulcan, Knuckles, Amy, Rouge& Cream (well Cream wasn't pissed off just upset) sorry about that on with the fic HA HA HAAA

 

Everyone was relaxing after chasing the 3 hedgehogs (well Scoot was jogging on the spot that's his way of relaxing)

Scoot: I'm bored, I'm hungry I'm

Everyone else: SHUT UP

Sonic: I've got an idea to shut Scoot up (everyone glares at Scoot who is jogging faster now he's excited)we could race

Tails: oh come on Sonic you know one of you 3 will win

Sonic: no wait an Extreme Gear race

Everyone: YEAH

Scoot & Vulcan: huh

Sonic: an Extreme Gear race is…(fades away)

 

20 MINUTES LATER

 

Sonic:(fades back in)… wins o.k. got it

Scoot & Vulcan: yeah the first one to the end anyway possible wins

Tails: yep they got it

Shadow: hmph ill win on my air skates

Sonic: oh yeah against the blue star 2

Amy: while there bickering like an old couple…

Sonic & Shadow freeze

Sonic…I'm the man

Shadow: no I am

Sonic: no I am

Shadow: NO I AM

Sonic: NO I AM

Shadow: NO I AM

Sonic: NO I AM

Shadow: NO I AM!!!!!

Sonic: NO I AM!!!!!

Amy: (continuing) CHOOSE YOU BOARD

Instantly all the boards appeared Scoot walks up to one of them

Scoot: wow the blue star t (couldn't finish because Sonic snatched the board away)

Scoot: SHIT

Everyone grabbed their favourite board leaving only 2 Vulcan walks up to grey one

Tails: I haven't painted that one yet (gets out a paint brush and is about to paint it white

Vulcan: NO DON'T (tails stops in his tracks) I like it like this (strokes his hand along it) what's it called

Tails: The Flying Fox

Vulcan: well this is mine puts it under his arm

Scoot: I guess this mine (looks at red and yellow board) what's it called

Tails: you name it it's only a prototype

Scoot: (looks at it) can I borrow a bit of metal, some screws and a screwdriver

Tails: sure (gives him what he wanted much to Scoot's surprise)

Scoot: you have that in your pocket despite the fact you don't wear clothes… oh well TO WORK (everyone shakes their heads)

 

5 MINUTES LATER

 

Scoot: done

Knuckles: what's the hole for

Scoot: this (unclips his sword sash and slides it into the hole) my weapon

Sonic: so what's it called

Scoot: uurrmm The Master Swordsman

Sonic: (mumbling) rubbish name

Tails: nice I guess (gives him a pot of yellow paint and Scoot paints the name on either side and the back)

Scoot: lets race

 

10 MINUTES LATER AT METAL CITY

 

Sonic: lets do this (presses a button on the wall which starts the countdown)

3…2...1...GO

The beam started moving Knuckles being the brainless git he is (sorry couldn't think of anything nice to say about him) ran ahead of the beam and straight into the electricity BBBBBBBBZZZZZZZZ he got electrocuted and fell flat on his face, the bar zoomed past, the 3 male hedgehogs shot after it crossing the line just as the electricity went down followed by Tails then Amy then Cream & Vulcan then Rouge, so it began instantly Scoot & Vulcan's inexperience showed with Scoot learning boost and narrowly avoiding a large truck, then, the attacking started Sonic & Shadow began battling for first place while Rouge began trying to attack Vulcan who kept dodging, and then hits her with a board with a nail in it, but in the heat of the moment whilst celebrating he forgot there was a corner and smashed straight through the glass and onto the motorway dodging traffic and causing a pile up and repapering right next Scoot unhurt

Scoot: so hows it going

Vulcan:(pulling glass out of his forehead) quite well

Scoot: good,……… see ya (whacks him with the sword still in its sheath)

Vulcan: AHHHHHHHH

Scoot: now to win this thing (hits boost HARD) ZOOOOMM

 

2 LAPS LATER

 

Scoot's in first followed by Cream & Amy joint 2nd Tails in 3rd then Sonic then Shadow then Vulcan (who's asleep) then Rouge then Knuckles 1 lap behind being lapped

Random commentator guy: and with 3 out 5 corners left back to the race

(No longer commentator) Suddenly Sonic & Shadow decided to team up and they attacked Tails dazing him shot past Amy then Cream and went to attack Scoot but he noticed them out of the corner of his eye so he grabbed his sword and swung it and it knocked out Sonic & Shadow, Scoot flew round the last corner and……………….hit the brakes stopping inches away from the line and said to no one in particular

Scoot: what it would be unfair to win by so much

Then Tails beat up Sonic & Shadow for passing Cream. So Cream, Amy and Scoot were joint first, Tails in 2nd, Vulcan in 3rd still asleep, Rouge in 4th, Sonic in 5th, Knuckles in 6th, and Shadow last because his air skates broke (he cant even run without his air skates (haven't you noticed that) so he had to catch a bus) so Shadow paid for the ice cream because he's a loser

 

A COUPLE OF MINUTES LATER AT THE ICE CREAM PARLOUR

 

Cream:(finishes her ice cream) I love ice cream

Tails:(thinks) here you are Cream (gives Cream his ice cream)

Cream: thank you Tails (gives him a hug) Tails blushes and looks really relaxed all the girls including Cream giggle and all the boys roll their eyes, except Tails he's daydreaming

Tails: *to himself* Cream is kind of cute and she's definitely kind and caring oh no no no don't think like that

Knuckles:(clicking in front of Tails' eyes) Tails, Tails, TAILS, TAILS, TAILS, TAILS, TAILS!!!!!, TAILS!!!!!

No he's not responding

Scoot: I got an idea (grabs spoon puts some ice cream on it and flicks it at Tails, Tails flinches slightly then carries on daydreaming

Scoot: come on aim and FIRE

Everyone (except Cream) flicked their ice cream at Tails, everyone got a direct hit and Tails woke up, everyone stared at him and then Vulcan nicked everyone's ice cream

 

HALF AN HOUR LATER BACK IN CENTRAL PARK

 

Vulcan: why is Cream running around in circles

Sonic: no she's running in a figure of 8

Shadow: she's running around like a brainless rodent

Vulcan: You mean like Scoot, Sonic, & you

Shadow: exactly, no wait not me

Vulcan, Shadow, Tails, Amy, Knuckles & Rouge looked over to see Scoot & Sonic running behind Cream in the same way when Cream stopped and dropped instantly asleep everyone ran to Cream Tails & Vulcan at the front

Tails & Vulcan: is she o.k. *Huh*

Tails & Vulcan stared at each other then glared at each other and then they looked at Cream

Tails: she's only asleep I guess the ice cream must have made her go hyper wouldn't you say so Vulcan. Vulcan

Vulcan: AAAHHHHH

Everyone: what

Vulcan: ice cream headache huge ice cream headache

Scoot: (jogging on the spot) LOL!
