Sonic Series ❯ Trip to Universal Studios ❯ Dreamworks and How to train your dragon ( Chapter 10 ) New

[ P - Pre-Teen ]

It started to rain as everyone met up at the How to Train Your Dragon section hours later.

“Are we all here for the Dreamworks section?” Sonic asked.

 “Pretty much.” Manic replied.

“Yeah, I guess so.” Sonia said, shrugging.

 “Yeah.” Maria replied.

A couple of actors dressed like Vikings walked by and looked at Shadow.

“Whoa, that’s a weird looking dragon.” The male Mobian cat Viking said.

The female Mobian cat Viking looked at Shadow and smiled. “Whoa.”

 Everyone aside from Shadow laughed.

“Lighten up, Shads, it’s a joke.” Sonic said, playfully smacking Sonic on the arm.

 Shadow half smiled.

“Hey, they actually got a real life Wonka’s chocolate factory here.” Maria said, motioning in the distance.

“Did you want to see it?” Aleena asked.

Maria shook her head. “No, I was just saying.”

“Good, ‘cause I don’t like that movie.” Manic said.

Everyone started walking down the path.

Surge chuckled. “Kit’s scared of that movie.”

“That was a secret.” Kit protested.

Manic sighed. “If it helps, the movie ‘Mars Attacks!’ freaks me out, Kit.”

 “Why?” Surge asked.

“The chihuahua.” Aleena, Tails, and Sonic replied.

“He ran out of the living room screaming and crying.” Sonia said.

“That poor dog.” Manic said, shaking his head sadly. “How do you think he felt? He gets his head put on some dude’s body while his owner has her head put on the dog’s body? He was probably terrified and whining for his owner. What kind of sick mind comes up with that?”

Aleena rubbed Manic’s shoulder. “I’m sorry your dad let you watch that when you were three.”

 Manic sighed. “It’s fine, Ma.”

They finally made it into the Dreamworks section, which was fairly empty aside from a few decorations.

 Maria frowned. “This is it?”

“I guess it’s not as popular.” Sonia said.

Manic sighed. “Ah, man, I was hoping to find Po around here.” He said. “We saw master Tigress in the Arabian section.”

 “So did we.” Shadow said.

 Sonic nodded. “Us too.”

“We took the train and skipped it.” Tails replied.

“We needed to rest our feet and tails.” Kit added.

“We would probably still be stuck in that line if Maria hadn’t had the idea to use the elevator.” Aleena said. “We were able to move past about forty Mobians because of that and the park employee.”

“Thank Kit, he mentioned he was getting anxious.” Maria said. “I didn’t want him to have a panic attack.”

“Here’s the kung fu panda section, you might see him there, Manic.” Sonic said, motioning to the gate designed to look like an Asian temple.

They walked through the gates and looked around.

The only thing there was a gong in the center of the courtyard and a show set up in the shack behind it.

“All they have is this gong?” Surge asked.

“Bummer.” Manic muttered. “This had a lot of potential.”

Shadow pulled the rope to bang the gong.

“Cool, let me try.” Tails said.

 Shadow handed Tails the rope.

Tails tried and failed to ring the gong.

“You tried.” Sonic said, patting Tails on the back. “An ‘A’ for effort.”

 It started to rain harder.

“We better go.” Aleena said. “It’s getting close to dinner time anyway.”
