Sonic Series ❯ Trip to Universal Studios ❯ Dark Universe ( Chapter 9 )

Shadow and Sonia walked through the stone gates of the Dark Universe section.

 “They don’t jump out at you here, do they?” Sonia asked.

 “No, that’s only in October and at night.” Shadow replied. 

 Sonia looked around at the mausoleum and tombstones on either side of the walkways. “I feel like I’m visiting the Addams family.” She replied. She giggled as she dragged Shadow along to an open coffin. “Let’s take your picture here.”

 Shadow stood in the coffin with his arms folded. “You know I hate taking pictures.”

 “But you’re so cute.” Sonia said. She took Shadow’s picture. “Alright, let’s move along.”

 Shadow and Sonia walked through Dracula’s castle. It was dimly lit and designed to look like a Victorian era mansion.

 Shadow nodded. “I could live in a place like this.”

 Sonia looked at Shadow, then motioned to the display case with Frankenstein’s monster inside it. “You’d want that in our living room?”

 “No, I mean everything else but that.” Shadow replied. “It’s cozy and dark. Elegant, but not overly fancy.”

 “This is why Sonic calls you edgelord or hot topic.” Sonia said. She looked around. “It is kind of elegant. It would’ve been cool to live back in that time.”

 Shadow shook his head. “Sort of; Maria wouldn’t have lived this long if she was around back then.”

 “I hadn’t thought of that.” Sonia said, frowning. She noticed a black velvet couch. “We need a picture of us on it.”

 Shadow let Sonia drag him to the couch. “Are we supposed to be there?” 

 “It’s not roped off.” Sonia said. 

 Shadow and Sonia sat down.

 Sonia took the picture. “Okay, let’s go.”
