Light+Dark

At the close of the door,

Ryou was left on the floor.

His frame curled in fear,

but from him escaped no tear.

Bukura walked away,

for with his light he could not stay.

And though the light began to fade,

still on his lips the smile stayed.

The Darker one saw his Light's friends,

and felt the Light's near end.

Walking to the smiling boy the darker one said,

"Your friend my Light will soon be dead."

The others run,

hoping to beat the sun.

For as night fell,

all hope was burned hell.

The Lighter one,

knew that his life was done.

And as the Light took one last breath,

the Darker one joined him in death.

The others never got to ask why,

nor did they wish to say good bye.

But Ra only knew,

what the two went through.

For like hawk and dove,

they had a forbidden love.

But now hand in hand,

together they stand.

At death's door,

they could want no more.

For now as they kiss,

no life they miss.

Anubis sent they on their way,

and there they are to this day.

Now a new little dove,

how will I get my hawks love.

Maybe Ra will help me,

to from love be free.

For now my hawk has a welcome love,

leaving alone this poor little dove.
