Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ The past that binds us ❯ Mou hitori nou boku, aibou, kisara ( Chapter 1 )

[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

DISCLAIMER: stupid thing. I do not own Yu-gi-oh!, I DO own Artemis my yami, Apolla, princess Isis, yugi’s past life prince atemu, the spirit sword, staff and whip. As for cards I own the ones that have this(ODMC) which means Original Duel Monster Card.

Every chapter I’ll try to fit in a song that best goes with it. The song in this chapter is ‘overlap’ by Kimeru.

Artemis:............

What?! It’s the best one! The beat is great!?

Ch 1: Mou hitori nou boku, aibou, Kisara

The name of the character in the chapter is the POV, like in this chapter kisara’s name is in the chapter, so it’s in her POV

Ch1: Mou hitori nou boku, aibou, Kisara

*Flashback*
As I rode away from the slave caravan, I thought about the boy who saved me. He said his name was seth, I wonder if he will try to save my village, I shake my head at that thought. He probably doesn’t even know where my village is. As I think this I clutch my turquoise amulet, hoping somewhere, my little sister Artemis is doing the same with her ruby amulet, safe and sound.
*End flashback*

As I walked to the village I thought about how I was separated from my sister six years ago today(A/N: I don’t know kisara’s age when she was rescued by seto the first time, so for the story she was ten, he was eleven. If I’m wrong please tell me! Kisara is sixteen now). “I hope she’s alright.” I said to myself. As I walked
through the village many people were giving me strange glances. So what if I have white hair and a pale complexion? I felt something hit me, I turned around to see it

was a stone. ‘Must have been kicked up’ I thought. How wrong I was. As I kept walking I felt another stone hit me. I whipped around to see if anyone threw it.

Another stone hit me square in the back. A crowd was forming. People were screaming stuff like ‘go back to were you came from!’ and ‘leave this place,
foreigner!’ I was confused, to say the least. People were throwing stones at me! All because I look different than them! Then I remembered the spell my mother taught us. Artemis in one language, English she called it, and mine in Japanese she said. She told us to use it only when we were in trouble. She said we were to hold our amulet’s, picture our sister and sing the spell as a song. So I closed my eyes, pictured my sister with her knee length black hair and ruby red eyes, gripped my turquoise amulet, and began.(A/N: The translation is at the bottom.)

I could fell the magic in my veins and I was aware of everything around me. I could hear their breathing, the beating of their hearts. All was silent except for me reciting the spell.

Then, another vision came to me. This time of a man in blue robes and headdress holding a staff that looked like an ank, with his cobalt blue eyes, he smiled at me. He looked familiar to me. Wait a minute, he saved me from the caravan He’s seth!

As I finished up a bright light surrounded me and I blacked out. When I woke up, I could see the man from my vision looking down at me, and I realized, with some embarrassment that he was carrying me in his arms. I blushed, with my almost white
skin it was always obvious to people. I could tell he noticed because he smiled down at me.
“ Uh-um- what’s going on? What happened?” I asked tentivly.
“Well, I noticed a crowd in the middle of the road , I pushed my way through to see what was going on.” the man said “ I saw you unconscious in the center, so I forced my way through the crowd, then I felt strong magic emitting from you....... what did you do anyway?” he asked me
“Um, well, this may seem a little weird but, I cast a spell to protect myself from the stones they were throwing at me, and after that I blacked out.” I said “Where are you taking me?”
I looked up at him for an answer. He nodded in the direction we were going, and he didn’t need to say anything. He was taking me to the pharaohs palace. “Who are you anyway?” I asked him, judging from his attire he was someone of high class

“ I’m seth, one of the pharaohs high priests, keeper of the millennium rod and spirit staff.” he said, looking down at me.
Once we were inside the gates he set me on my feet. “I’ll take you to meet the pharaoh and his queen, most people are afraid of my cousin, but he is not a bad person.” I looked at him in disbelief. Him, the pharaohs cousin?!
“Tell me, what are their names?” I asked. Seth looked at me like I was weird but answered anyway
“They are his majesty the pharaoh Atem, and her royal highness the queen Astret.” He lead me into the palace. I was surprised we didn’t go straight to the throne room, but to one of the gardens instead. “My lord pharaoh, there is someone whom I wish for you to meet.” he said to a boy with spiky hair. The boy turned around to see seto. “Oh, my apologies prince atemu you and your father look exactly alike from behind, you think I could tell the height difference.” (A/N: the prince is yugi’s past life, so imagine a tanner yugi as prince atemu)
The prince chuckled “It’s okey seth, happens all the time, annoys the heck out of father and I.”
“Pray tell, where is that cousin of mine and his wife?” seth asked

“Mother and father are at the lotus pond with the princess Isis, who is practicing her flute right now.” prince atemu said
“Thank you atemu, would you care to join us? We could use the company.” seth added
“Sure, I’ll lead the way.” The prince said. He took us to a lotus flower-shaped pond. I saw the pharaoh and could tell why seth confused the prince with his father, Though he was my age he looked almost exactly like the prince. The princess obviously inherited her looks from her mother. The queen had knee length black

hair, I couldn’t see what her eye color was, seeing that they were closed due to the fact she was laughing. The queen had a whip attached to her side. She seemed to be a year or two younger than her husband
“My lord and lady, there is someone who I want you to meet.” seth said.
The pharaoh and his queen looked up. I noticed the queen had red eyes and was wearing a ruby amulet!! Maybe she’s Artemis! I decided to say one of the nicknames I gave Artemis when we were younger to see if it was her. She would call me aibou if it was her.
“Mou hitori nou boku?*” (*another I) I asked tentivly.
The queen looked at me for a bit, then asked, with excitement in her voice “Aibou?*” (* partner) I nodded. She was Artemis! My long lost little sister sprang from her seat, ran toward me, and gave me a BIG hug
“Artemis, it’s you!” I said, tears in my eyes, looking at her, she was my height now!
“Kisara, I thought you were dead When the slave drivers took you I was so scared I would never see you again” Artemis looked at me, tears streaming down her face.

“I’m here Artemis, you can dry your tears little sister, I’m safe and very much alive.” I said, wiping the tears off her cheeks.
“Wait a minute, you two are sisters? You don’t look at all alike.” seth said, obviously confused.
“Well seth, the fact we don’t look alike in any way is thanks to our ka’s . Artemis’s ka is the red eyes black dragon, giving her red eyes and black hair.”

“While kisara’s ka is the blue eyes white dragon, a dragon whose power rivals the gods, giving her blue eyes and white hair .” Artemis said “The way you can tell we are sisters is by the birthmarks on our right ankles, depicting a dragon fang.”

“That was your ka, you saved me from dying at the hands of those thugs.” seto looked at me in recognition. “My ka felt it was neccecry to repay you for saving me high priest.” I looked at him, with what I knew was a mischievous glint in my eye.
“Wait a minute, if your our mothers sister, then that makes you our aunt” atemu said, eyes widening in surprise.
“Guess so, my prince.” I looked at the prince and princess “Now come on Is that anyway to greet your aunt? Give me a hug!” Boy did I regret saying that I wasn’t hugged, I was glomped Those two are really strong!! “Oof, hey! Don’t kill your aunt, you just met her for cripes sake!” I laughed with my new niece and
nephew, getting off the ground. Then I noticed the whip attached to Artemis’s side was giving off a strange golden glow. “Hey artemis, why is your whip glowing?” I asked her. All of the sudden the garden got real quiet.
“Kisara, follow us.” was all she said. The priest seth, pharaoh atem, and the queen astret, my sister, lead me to a secret room underground. It was dark, except for a circle of torches in the middle of the generously sized room. It was still dim enough to see a sword giving of a golden glow. There were seven niches in a stone
tablet, two were empty of the item that were supposed to be inside them. One was shaped like a whip while the other looked like a ank with a staff length bottom. I started to walk toward the tablet, but looked back to see if I shouldn’t. The priest,
who held the staff in his hands, my sister, grasping her whip uncoiled, and the pharaoh, all nodded for me to continue. I walked up to the sword, grasped its handle, and jerked it out of its niche. There was a blinding flash of light. When it had dimmed down, I saw we were back at the lotus pond, and that the sword in my hands, the staff in seth’s, and the whip in Artemis’s hands, were glowing.
“The spirit sword, staff, and whip, forever bound by the magic that created them.” seth started
“In the hands of evil, they’d bring utter chaos.” Artemis continued. I picked up from there, somehow knowing the next part.

“But in the hands of good, they can do no wrong, the three holders purehearted to save the world.”

“Their decedents, bound the same way. Forever the blood line to run pure, warriors of good to save our world when need be.” the three of us finished. I then knew of my destiny. I was the holder of the spirit item that rivals the millennium ring.

T.B.C

Well? What do you think? Yay? Nay? What?! I know there was fluff, but come on! Kisara was reunited with her little sister after six years for cripes sake! For big Priest seth/kisara fans, the big scene is coming up!!!^_~

Overlap in English

A light so bright it cannot be hidden
Breaks through the silence and revives in this world
Upon the violently shaking parched earth,
We stake our lives as sparks collide
Just one more time -
Let a miracle happen
Give me the strength to take back the page in my memories I lost in the past...
A heart that believes can pierce through the darkness
I search for the place where my soul slumbers
With a sharp glint burning in my unblinking eyes
These two hearts of light and dark -
Now move toward the future, reflected in crystal
With eyes that glow red
Bidding farewell to the days when we licked each other's wounds,
We silently stand up
I will keep that promise I made to you
On that night we kept a small light burning
Within the hazy mirage you appear
Prepared to continue on without losing, whatever happens
With a heart that believes in miracles
The goddess of victory will come for us
We can overcome any obstacle, and will never give up
Two hearts that continue to wander
In a world whose colors never fade
They shine now...
Overlapping eyes
As the moon melts into the sunset
Give me the strength to take back the page in my memories I lost in the past... A heart that believes can pierce through the darkness
I search for the place where my soul slumbers
With a sharp gleam burning in my unblinking eyes
These two hearts of light and dark -
Now move toward the future, reflected in crystal
With eyes that glow red
With eyes that overlap
