I sit and wonder about you,

Where could you be?

I sit here waiting for you,

But you have yet to come.

I gaze out the window, praying you will be there,

But my prayers go unheard.

Here I am,

But where are you?

Will you leave me here, in this world so cruel?

I long for your embrace.

I long for the touch of your warm lips.

So I call for you,

But you do not respond.

Then, I hear you call my name and I turn hoping to see your face,

But you have faded into the wind.

You were never there,

You were nothing but a dream…

Oh that sucks so bad! I really can't write poetry, but if I'm going to be in honors, then I might as well try…
