Let’s imagine that I’ll be
Fine on my own.
Let’s imagine that I’ll be
Alright all alone.

Let’s imagine that today
Dry shall be my eyes.
Let’s imagine that I may
Stop hiding in this disguise.

I’ll pretend that you’re still here,
Standing strongly by my side,
I’ll pretend I have no fear
Of what in future resides.

Maybe then I’d be able to smile
When you softly laugh,
Maybe then I’d wait awhile,
For you, my other half.

Can you see the tears
As they roll down my face?
Do you think of all the years
When together we would race?

I stare up at the stormy clouds,
And let the rain fall on me.
You make me want to scream aloud,
For together we’ll never be.

As I stare into the sky,
I imagine that you’re smiling.
And so I start to wonder why
You were always so beguiling.

Let’s imagine that our love
Could last for blissful ever.
Let’s imagine while you’re above,
Our ties would never sever.

But I am not feeling
The coldness of your skin.
I had better stop believing
That together we would win.

But all my tears have been cried,
I hope you’re doing well,
And so it is that you have died
