She laughs, as I stare,

I stand still, hidden by the darkness,

Where is big brother you ask?

Right here, I can't confess

Innocence, I don't have,

Clear as crystal, in your eyes I see truth,

You, pure is my other half,

My light at the end of the tunnel,

I, full of sin, of secrets hidden from you,

Why, I won't and can't say,

Not to you, I knew

Now, not so sure,

Will you accept me, love me?

I ask myself, confess to her?

Confused, wondering, wanting,

I look to the sky, take me,

Into your depths, away from pain,

Escape, want to flee,

Full of confusion, deep inside, indecision,

Lost inside, concluding this dilemma,

I run to you, on a clear mission

Now with you, we sit in the night,

I reach for your hand,

Stopping the trembling, I hold it tight,

I quietly tell the truth,

No more, no less,

Surprising, you smiled,

You touch my cheek with a gentle caress,

I pull you into my arms and hold you,

I feel relief and happiness,
