okay all the chapters so far were already writen... so it was easy for me to post them up. However it does take me a while to write and I've come to a HUGE writer's block on this story... a few months actually And no I'm not on a trip that was in summer... so I'm trying to bear with this pain of a story and I'm glad my reviewers, and guests are visiting. ^_^

Chapter 7: Unseen terrors

This was hell at it's greatest for Kurama. Everything was going to wrong way, nothing like the way he planned. Shiori and her husband were actually softening him! This had to stop or the infamous Youko Kurama would sink down to the level of human. Everything, however, did come into play. His 'parents' were sitting in the living room watching so ningen contraption call a 'T.V.' that updated them on the news. Some stupid 'car' acciedent when the tires of a car blew and slammed into another one. That gave him an idea... tires. If he-

Kurama crept downstairs quietly, rubbing his eyes. It was about three o'clock in the morning, and he had been thinking all this time about his scheme. Slowly he opened the front door only to see his human father's car was gone. 'NO!' He thought, frowning. His dad must have left earlier in the morning! Then he remembered that his father had an important meeting that started at ten p.m. 'Damn...' He crept back upstairs and went to sleep. He was so exhausted he fell quickly sleep only to wake up five hours later by his mother sobbing.

He was almost there just a few more steps... his heart raced in his chest. The pendant..... it was so CLOSE!!!! He reached his long finger out to grab it and then run but it disappeared. What he saw was Kuronue's body.. mangled. "Kurama. Why did you leave me?!"
"Shuuichi!" He was awoken to his mother's voice. He rose grogily and glared at her. There were tears in her eyes. "It's your father..." what happened?

There he was at the funeral, his mother next to him. His father had died in a car acciedent, with no help from him. He didn't want the man to die! He just wanted his mother distracted so he could get away. He didn't mean for him to die! Even though it wasn't his fault he still felt guilty when he looked in Shiori's eyes. He was being weak and he knew it. He felt like a....... human.......
