Hello my fans!
I know know I haven’t updated in sooooooooooo long. But I have written about two chapters here to make up for it and yes they are long.
Thank you all for the wonderful reviews well see how much these next to chapters hold then I will probably continue on to the next fic that is the continuation of this story oh and I would love any requests of other animes or mangas that any of you would like me to write a story about. I think my next fic will be a Fullmetal alchemist fic but well see.

This chapter does bring up about 6 characters I made up there is a brief reference to Leader in the past chapter if you need to remember who he is.
Chapter 12 ~ Mother and Friend

“Samako!?”
The girl just smiled down at him with a knowing smile as she nodded her head. Hiei being in shock barely even moved. Finally he lifted one of his hands to touch her face just to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.
The rest in the room just looked at each other and quietly stood before leaving. They needed to give the two some time alone.
Hiei only continued to stare up at her in a daze. She had been dead! He had seen the blood and her cold body. He had been right there! Yet here she was alive and well still smiling as if none of that had ever happened.
Suddenly he jerked his hand away realizing how long it had been there and sat up.
‘How how!?’
As if hearing his thoughts Samako smiled and quickly added
“Guess I got a lot of explaining to do.”
And finally Hiei snapped out of his shock as he glared at her.
“I would say that was an understatement!”
but this only cause Samako to giggle before her smile still held on her face.
“Well were should I start?”
“Why you’re not dead might be good!”
Hiei quickly striated his back and crossed his arms awaiting the must needed explanation.
“Enema apparently some how figured out what my soul could do. Because of that he quickly revived me intending for me to become a spirit detective. But of course I had other plans.”
Hiei nodded and waited for her to continue. There were still way to many things unanswered and even though he was happy to see his friend alive and well didn’t help that he hadn’t seen her in over 8 years!
“I went looking for you the minuet I came back….but you were no where to be found. I quickly returned to demon world thinking you probably are there. I searched every where but I still couldn’t find you. Then about 4 years ago I found Leader but he hadn’t seen you either. So I stayed with hoping you would come to see him for some reason.”
Hiei’s eyes couldn’t help but soften as he heard her out. She had searched by him. But by the time she was revived he had probably been thrown in jail. Then when she stayed with leader he was working for Mukuro and leader didn’t go any where near the claimed territories of demon world.
“Hiei?”
He focused back on her with a small smirk on his face and he nodded for her to continue. She gave a small smile in return.
“Then just a week ago Mukuro came apparently hunting us down explaining this whole situation. Hearing how hurt you was I came with her and Leader to this temple and I found you unconscious and bound by so many wards. I wanted to kill those damn Spirit world idiots along with that damn woman but Leader held me back. And so they had me strike a deal with them.”
Hiei frowned as he recalled what his “team mates” had said before.
We found a way to control you...
“What was the deal?”
“Your life, as long as I could convince you to be a spirit detective again.”
The fire demon sighed and shook his head. He new when Samako was faced with his life as a choice she would always choose to save it. Why he would never know.
“Hiei I’m sorry I shouldn’t…”
“Enough it’s not your fault.” She smiled weekly back at him as he leaned back and took a deep breath. That was until he looked over their conversation from moments ago. Then he quickly snapped up.
“Wait! You said Mukuro, came and found you?”
“Oh yes She said when she found out is when she quickly did some digging and found I was still alive…”
“She told you and Leader I tried to kill my self?”
“Yes.” All he could do was fall back in disappear surely the minuet Mukuro and Leader were done with spirit world he would be next. Hell they would finish the job for him he was as good as dead.
Samako only giggled as she realized what was wrong. Leader had the fieriest temper she had ever known, well that was until she met Lady Mukuro. Hell she even wanted to bite His head off when she first heard of his little attempt.
“I don’t see how this is amusing.” She only giggled more before finally calming down and staring at him. It had been so long yet they were talking as if those 8 years apart never happened. She felt a sudden urge to make sure he was real and she found no reason to resist it.
Hiei felt a sudden weight on his chest and he looked down to see Samako’s head lying comfortably upon it. She quickly even wrapped her arms around him snuggling in deeper as if he was going to disappear.
“You have know Idea how much I missed you.”
He looked down at her with half lazy eyes while pulling her close. God he had missed her too. This all seemed so surreal. He had dreamed that he was going to have her back one day and here she was in his arms. He blushed realizing that thought.
But sadly there wonderful moment had to end as the screen door was slammed open. Well really slammed through the wall. And standing there was none other then the Fiery Mukuro looking to kill.
Hiei paled at the sight of his boss. This was the one person he feared. And could you blame him she was the only one to really kick his ass!
The woman walked over calmly as if she had only opened the door like any normal person with a smile on her face. Samako sat up and out of the way. She had yelled at him and now it was Mukuro’s turn and hell hath no fury like a woman’s scorn.
Hiei’s sweat drops multiplied quickly as the woman approached. Oh yeah he was dead.
She snagged him by his tank top and yanked him up bringing him to a standing level, her smile now replace with a deadly frown.
“WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING?” Hiei winced at her yells
“YOU ARE NOT THAT DAMN WORTHLESS I THOUGHT WE WENT OVER THIS HIEI! YOU ARE MY GOD DAMN HIER FOR GODS SAKE!”
She then let go and Hiei closed his eyes ready for the beating but all he got were two arms pulling him into a hug. His eyes stayed wide open in small shock before hugging her back. Over the years she had become a mother to him. Always looking out for him he couldn’t help but feel a pull towards her.
“Don’t ever scare me like that again!” she whispered holding him even closer. He only nodded unable to speak.
Samako looked at them with a smile. Hiei had a mother again it was clear to see. His own reaction to Mukuro and well as Mukuro’s to him was proof enough. He probably no longer would need her.
Hiei slowly pulled out of Mukuro’s grip and turned to Samako with a small smile. She quickly pushed that small thought to the back of her mind and smiled back.
“Samako meet my boss Mukuro.” She smiled and nodded standing up.
“Nice to meet you.”
Mukuro smile at the girl. Although she was quite surprised to see her so calm, the effects around being her Eire she guessed. Yes she could see what pulled Hiei to this woman. Although it seemed he did not just yet. She chuckled to her self at the thought.
‘You’ll figure it out soon enough my heir’

Yeah! Next chapter done yes I think this fic will be completed by the next chapter but remember I am writing a continuation. Now I have always seen Mukuro and Hiei’s relationship completely Mother son. I do understand those who see them as a couple but I just don’t see it. I think Mukuro is much too motherly toward him and to protective to think of him as a lover and Hiei is the same way. So don’t comment me on that because I will only ignore you.
I promise to get the last chapter out soon. TTFN
